Fern Forest Nature Center reviews
31Free, easily accessible. Several board walked loops and a few deeply muddy trails. Nice variety of topography. The boardwalks feel most isolated (in a good way) but you can hear traffic throughout.
If you blink, you will miss the entrance. Its a long but scenic trail to get to the nature center, but its worth it.
Manager in store was very rude. I was waiting in line to pay & when I got to the counter he just walked away & would help me. Probably didn't help that I was just an old ugly woman. Yep I will pick another service plaza b4 going back to that one! I would really like to give them no stars but the rest of the plaza seemed to b okay!
We got married here, it is a beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff. It's a little difficult to find, but has a wonderful little amphitheatre and upstairs rooms for events. The restrooms we're clean and seemed recently renovated. There's even an elevator for getting upstairs.
Great nature center and a very well maintained board walk. Excellent example of South Florida native habitat. A true gem.
A nice place to visit when you need a get away from the bulk of the city. Staff is friendly and a sweet place for a date or weddings.
Beautiful natural area to spend a day wandering alone or with a good friend. Well maintained and marked paths.
Beautiful walking trails with lots of shade. The park is free and takes about an hour to walk. They have staff members available for guided torus if you call ahead. The dirts trails can get muddy so bring closed toed shoes.
We had a wedding there which was lovely. Just didn't realize it was a five minute walk from parked car to entrance. Thank God I wore the right shoes.
Nice place to have a walk and talk with your friends, or just to spend some some in nature with your significant other, or just to have fun with the kids. It's a nice place to visit.
