Great Clips, Jacksonville FL

I have been to many Great Clips around the country. The staff at this site are amazing. All of them do a great job! Thankful for their great attitudes and terrific work. The store is always well cleaned. They take pride in their professional jobs and their workplace. Great Clips should be proud of this team.

Charged me over $80 for a child’s hair cut, shampoo and a simple blow dry. When I asked for a shampoo and blow dry the stylist (and I use that term loosely) never said that a blow dry is considered a “style” or that cuts didn’t include a blow dry. Plus they charged for her to have long hair but her hair is barely past her shoulder. It was literally a quick trim!

When I asked the manager about the charges, she said, with an attitude, “it was a miscommunication” - nope nope nope.

Lesson learned but I will be sending a message to corporate.

Great experience, Adila was great. Quick, and exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend this place.

Wasn’t at all satisfied—hopefully they will do a”redo “! Wasn’t what I thought it was going to look like by far.

I have lived in the area for 20 years and have frequented this location since they opened. I arrived today at 4: 30 and was told they were not taking any more customers even though their posted hours indicated they did not close until 5. Nobody was waiting and there were 5 or 6 stylists almost finished with their current clients. The person at the counter asked the assistant manager if I could still have a cut and the assistant manager said no. I would assume the owner or manager would have had a little more focus on customer service. I will not be back and they have lost a long time customer.

My kids (teenagers) love getting their hair cut in here. And youu always get coupons, which is good for us parents

Very disappointed with the negative attitude, demeanor, and lack of respect given to me and my son. Very unprofessional. Will not be returning.

A great haircut every time. The only down side is the wait time most weekends. The app is definitely handy (a must) for checking in beforehand.

It’s always the same bs; check-in online but they’re never ready. Why bother? Plus, when you show up they take everyone out of order anyways. Don’t plan on getting in & out if you don’t have time to waste waiting around. Ugh.

I've been going to our Great Clips since they opened on 210. Debbie cut my hair today. I asked her to layer it. She did a great good. I recommend her.

Been going here for years. Normally good. This is the worst haircut ever. Normally I get scalped at a 1/2 all over. Real simple. This time left with a cut in my neck. Ear and a sore head.
I mow my yard with less vigor than she mowed my head. Go figure.

My daughter donated her hair.an hour before they closed on a Sunday. The stylist was great. Knew exactly what to do. Fantastic experience.

This place used to be great, but the past few months service has been aweful. Tonight was just more complaining - I walked out. The salon closes at 9: 00. If you only want to work till 8: 00, close at 8: 00. I'm done going out of my way to go here.

My dad, my downsyndrome brother, and I went to get my brother's hair cut today but the lady refused to cut it because he was moving around a little. They've been cutting his hair for years and suddenly they won't anymore. Do not waste your time bringing special needs children to this establishment.

Absolutely terrible job done. I asked for a trim but walked out with my hair and inch too short. The lady cutting my hair didn’t listen to what I was saying and cut it way to uneven and short. I’d have better luck bext time if I just cut my own hair!

Horrible experience for my son. The lady was done in 4 minutes. My sons hair looked choppy and uneven. He was in tears after we walked out of there. She didn’t even comb it or style it. Never going again!

Beth is the best. I had the same stylist for many years and it was hard to be unable to see her any longer. I went to Great Clips, was given Beth and have trusted her since. She listens to me and appreciates what I say. She does what I want and is careful and caring in the process. I'm very fussy and she has not let me down.

Been here twice. They can't cut a swing bob to save their life. Stylists have no personality and are not friendly. Will go to an actual salon next for now on who knows how to cut hair.

Don't bother checking in online. You show up and then they add your name to the list. The online wait time is false. Maybe easier to call ahead but who knows. Seems they place you based on who they want to cut next.
