Nice place to wander native Florida, a tall tower to climb, a big field for flying RC, doing astronomy, tho the local light polution is pretty bad.

If you go there to hunt, go somewhere else. According to the people who attend the gate, they have hog hunters with dogs in the woods most of the year with nobody supervising what their taking out. Used to be about 150 deer a year taken out of there. This year it's in the 40's.

Love this place! Beautiful Florida swamps.fishing, hunting, camping, bonfires, and great cpumtry folks! Must visit y'all! Florida at its finest!

This area is awesome. Just make sure to take note of the dates closed for hunting. However, the Florida trail is always open for travel.
