Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chaffee-Jacksonville West

Staff is pleasant and the rooms are what you would expect. I always have an uneventful visit which is my preferred type of stay. Walking distance to the grocery store, bar and some places to grab food.

Stay in June 2019. The staff is OK, but Vanesa-the lady in charge of the breakfast kitchen-is great. She is super sharp and an asset to the hotel. We checked in on Friday afternoon and checked out on Monday morning. During check in Alexis told us that breakfast was from 6: 00 a.m. To 10: 00 a.m. But failed to specify that during the week breakfast ends at 9: 00 a.m. On Monday morning we went for breakfast at 9: 30 a.m. And found out it was over. Vanessa understood what we were told and allowed us to get some breakfast. Thank you Vanessa, you rock. The morning of our arrival, around 10: 00 a.m, we called the hotel and requested a room on the top floor and near the elevator. During check in we were assigned a room on the top floor but the furthest room from the elevator (room 503). We found a male contraceptive on the carpet, between the bed and the night stand. The cleaning staff should pay more attenntion to detail and move the furniture when cleaning. The bed matress in room 503 was NOT as comfortable as the ones from other Holiday Inn Express. It was hard and we had the impression it was an old mattress. In the future, if we find a hotel with similar rate, we will skip this Holiday Inn Express.

Excellent stay! This hotel is the best example of the igh way ive ever experienced. The rooms were awesome and super clean. Staff was friendly and wonderful! Breakfast was having issues with the pancake machine, engineering (Morales) stepped right in to help without being asked! I cannot brag enough on how friendly he was! Excellemt stay!

We stayed there for 1 night. The room was clean, the shower was good and the fridge and freezer worked very well. It kept our ice packs frozen. The breakfast like everyone had mentioned was amazing! So much variety and the food was hot and fresh. Vanessa was very pleasant and made sure that everyone was taken care of during breakfast.

We were on our final day of vacation and experienced one of the worst nights imaginable.we were subjected to cigarette smoke throughout the night and again before 6 a.m. We called down to the front desk with little to no assistance. The technology we have today should have made it easy for personnel to identify offenders. We are Spire members and in the past have frequently visited this facility. I am truly disappointed to end our final vacation day on such a sour note.

First time I seen my name welcoming me on a big sign when i was checking in spire membership has its pluses but never seen that it was quite cool because I had my famliy with me which isnt usually the case had a great experience an nice clean rooms. I will return again.
