This review is only for Willow Kogelschatz. She is the guest relations manager for Holy Cross. She was amazing and I can not express how important she was during my time at Holy Cross. She was indispensable. She goes above and beyond the call of duty in order to help the patients.

I drove myself to the Emergency Room early Thursday morning, March 4th. After checking in the emergency staff did a great job making sure I was comfortable and see what the issue was. I was admitted and taken my room.my stay there was for a day znd a half being discharged on Friday st 7pm. Staff at Hospital were professional, courteous, friendly and kept me informed. Food service was excellent and they called me certain times of the day for my low sodium selections. The cheese quesadillas were great. Thank you

These reviews giving this hospital a good review can't be real. Our families experience with the hospital and its doctors has been horrible. Leave town if possible or try the memorial system.

I want to share my experience while in Holy Cross for major spine surgery this past Wednesday, February 24th.

This should be prefaced with the fact that my only experience with hospitals had been as a visitor at other hospitals in Broward County. My memory of those hospitals were that things were a little chaotic and that care was difficult to find at times, so my expectations were admittedly low based on that.

From the moment I walked into Holy Cross that morning, I felt a sense of calm. I was met with smiling faces at the front door and the Admissions desk.

I had to spend extra time in Preop as my surgeons previous case was taking longer than expected. I believe I was in the Preop room for around two hours, yet it felt like only a half hour. I soon came to realize that Holy Cross is unique, and the people who work there are genuinely caring, upbeat happy people. Many people I interacted with are stuck in my mind, and although I don't remember all of their names, they all contributed to a very successful surgery and recovery.

The Preop nurse, Trish, made the time waiting actually fun, and the energy she carries is also so calming. I remember chatting about many things, but what stood out is that I could tell she really cared about me as a person.

There was also Ed, who stopped by a few times too to chat and keep me up to date. His jokes had me laughing every time he came by to check on me. The fact that I was not anxious about the upcoming surgery had everything to do with both their happy energy.

Waking up in the recovery room, the nurse DJ (Donald) was by my side and while I remember chatting with him quite a bit, what I remember most was his smiling face and that I felt safe, comfortable and happy.

As I moved into the very nice room, Pauline, my nurse, greeted me with a fantastic smile, gentle hands and wonderful conversation. There was also Sherri and Felicia helping me; two more beautiful kind people. At some point it was time for Pauline to go home, and I got the distinct feeling she wasn’t going to leave until she was sure the new nurse was ready to take over. I never once felt alone or worried.

Soon I was in the very competent caring hands of Peir (and PCT Martine). During my stay, Peir was just amazing. She was professional, kind, always there when I needed her (or thought I needed her) and always with a great smile and energy surrounding her.

There are so many other people who helped me through this painful surgery! And I enjoyed each one, always smiling and always great at what they were doing. My focus never seemed to be on pain, surgery or recovery-instead it was on the great conversations and smiling faces of the people at Holy Cross who's only goal it seemed was to keep me comfortable and safe.

It's hard to believe just a week has gone by, and my memories of the major surgery is focused so much on the wonderful people who cared for me at Holy Cross (and of course, my Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Cantor and his assistant Haley, who are the best of the best)!

Although I live in Palm Beach County, Holy Cross would be the only hospital I'd go to if needed (hopefully not needed, but great to know they are there)!

Had an appointment at 3: 00 pm today with Doctor Perez and it is 4: 08 pm and still have not seen him.
(Post surgery follow up).
I found this very disrespectful from the entity or person responsable for coordinating these appointments.

Yesterday I had the most amazing experience at Holy Name Hospital ER. This place is a CLASS ACT. Within 5 minutes of registering with the lovely receptionist I was ushered into a room. A PA Jeff came in within 5 minutes to learn what my problem was, he was followed by a team of friendly professionals who administered an EKG then did blood work. This experience was so different than the ER in New York where I once waited for 3 hours for a similar problem to be addressed. I left after 3 hours never being seen by anyone only to return to another ER 48 hours later by ambulance. After my blood work was reviewed yesterday, Dr. Robert Thompson came in to speak with me and make future recommendations. This morning I received a call from the hospital asking how I felt, and Willow then called the recommended MD's office to set up an appointment for me next week. I have never received such great care from a medical unit in my life.
I felt like I was at the Mayo Clinic. If any of my friends or family are ever in need of a hospital while in Broward County this is the place to be.
Thank you to all the staff.

I was at the Imaging Center at the main hospital Holy Cross and I have the best technician I have ever had in the past he was just what the doctor ordered he knew exactly what he was doing and he was very very nice to me because I was very nervous he took his time and patience he is a very fine man I told my doctor Matthew Moretti who works for Holy Cross that he was the best technician I've ever had

The nursing staff from the ER to the 4th floor were excellent. The ancillary departments were also top-notch. When you are as sick as I was, it's great to have the skill and experience as I had. Thank you to all the staff.

Saw ER doctor Michael Uguccioni. Worst experience at hospital ever. He refused to listen to my symptoms. Had an ego an attitude and told me I looked healthy. Left the hospital after 5 minutes. Didn’t even do a proper evaluation or consultation. Don’t know if it’s the entire hospital, but I wouldn’t recommend this physician to anyone.

I pick this hospital because of how clean it is and the nurses and doctors are kind, they make sure you understand about prescriptions, questions I may have. Over all, I will continue going to this hospital.

This is by far the best hospital I've ever delt with. I would have given it 5 stars but for the lack of parking. The major situation is that employees choose to park in the main lot rather than the employee parking area. I don't see any security encouraging employees to move on. I'd love to hear a response to this long term situation. However, God bless them for providing the best medical care possible.

Needed to visit the ER for Chest Pain. Was seen promptly by a series of compassionate professionals who systematically examined and tested me with care. Everyone was communicative and patient making a difficult day manageable and left me confident I was in good hands.

Great physician's, the nurses are wonderful. I like a smaller hospital in place of a huge hospital, because I feel personal attention lacks in larger hospitals. I'm a person, not a number.

Staff was great post-op and pre-op. Casey (nurse) always made sure I was comfortable and constantly checking to see if I was ok. Doctor Wodicka is a fantastic surgeon and called to check up on me the next morning. I’m very pleased with my doctor and the staff at Holy Cross.

Dr Sonia Daryanani is a first class, intelligent and caring physician. I was going to move because her new offices are not very convenient for me, but she’s too good to leave. I’ll have to figure it out.

My latest experience at Holy Cross Hospital has been a 5 star experience. I went two weeks ago to the Women's center for Mammogram and Bone Density. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes between registering, waiting and getting the tests done. Yesterday I went to the Hospital on Federal Hwy.because my doctor had requested an x-ray. I tried calling to make an appointment but I was told it is walk-ins only. I gave it a try. Went at 2: 00 pm was in and out in 30 minutes. Registration took longer than the rest. Can't say anything bad about my experience so far. I have all my doctors at Holy Cross and all I heard was bad things. Not sure if they are referring to a different location, but both the ones I have visited I have nothing to complain about.

I went to the ER last night due to severe lower back pain, one of my legs was falling asleep and I had a tingling sensation on my buttocks. I was registered and taken in very fast, even though it was a full house. I was in so much pain tears where coming out of my eyes involuntarily, and I could barely stand or sit. Sophia one of the nurses noticed and came over to help me right away. Her genuine compassion and care made a huge difference on my treatment at such a tough moment. The Doctor was also very nice, and worked on helping me to lower my pain quickly, which was extremely appreciated. I haven't been on an ER in years but I do remember how dreadful it can be sometimes, caregivers can become aloof and you just could sit there for hours without help. This was so not the case at Holy Cross, everyone in the emergency room was friendly and diligent, they took excellent care of me. Particularly Sophia, an angel from heaven that came to my aide when I thought I was going to pass out in pain.
