We really enjoyed the knowledgeable staff, programs and of course the animals. Beautiful walking paths and opportunities to enjoy the animals as they are rehabilitated or cared for long term.

This was really a great experience with kids. Definitely park near rt. 19 and start your adventure with a boat ride. The kind guide will clue you on what to look for and the history of the park. Inside, be ready for up close and personal with Floridian wildlife. We saw manatee fed, got up close with 7 gators, so many birds, Lu the hippo and much more. It's a very walkable park. Plus the fish bowl is a jem of the natural beauty that is often being destroyed in FL.

Would recommend to anyone with kids or who wants to get to know the animals of Florida!

Great to see so many beautiful animals up close and at the same time know they're in a place where they can get the help they need and live their best life.

What an absolutely awesome Park this is the visit! You can get there three different ways, first by boat ride, second by trolley or third by driving right to the parking lot. The zoo area is really nice with all the animals having large spaces. The three manatees they have there in captivity are well taken care of and seem very happy with their living conditions. All the staff was super friendly.

Hands down the best park I've been to. The focus of this part is the all native wildlife and rehab of animals that can't be released, providing then a home and an opportunity for education. Make sure to take the boat ride either from or to the visitors center just for the scenery and education talk. Extremely knowledgeable docents abound, and the manatees are beautiful. I watched a calf feed from it's mom in crystal clear water. A must see.

Such a great place to see some animals and enjoy nature for a bit. Nice selection of species and it's right on the river with a fantastic view. Educational but fun. Don't forget to say hi to Lu!
