Never enough registers open. Terrible customer service making people stand in long lines. I saw a few people put their stuff down and walk away. Losing sales. No wonder they're struggling. They need to take Customer Service 101 again.

In a way a blast from the past store, but I think that's what makes it enjoyable, they always have plenty of stock unlike many stores these days.
Sales are always a great deal, but be careful you may go in for 1 thing and come out with 3 or 4, worth a visit. Make sure you have some spare time as you just get caught up and don't notice the time pass

JCPenney’s can be a bit messy in the sales sections but you can definitely find great deals here. I find great outfits for work and formal events, and as much as I love online shopping you just cannot beat the clearance prices that JCPenney’s offers and the ability to try on an item right away before purchasing. The employees working at JCPenney’s are also kind and courteous and those working the checkout are quick and efficient so you’re not standing in long lines to checkout for too long. My only complaint would be returns and pickup of online orders- that can be a very slow moving line as it also handles checkouts. It needs a more streamlined process.

Got ally Christmas shopping done at this shop.affordable for this old lady.maybe next time I can get myself a surprise.

This was at tyrone mall. I got some great deals on 3 tops & a pair of pants for Christmas gifts. I was able to save $40 on my order (because I used my four $10 jcpenney coupons I had earned with their mastercard), and an additional 25 - 35 % off each item. Quality was good, and for $20 I did great! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Win win.

Site to store is terrible. The edit in the store was just so long as shipping. I had a Christmas present to pick up that was unavailable until the day after Christmas. I call BS because if they were closed on Christmas and it was available immediately the next day that meant it was at the store the whole time and therefore was late

3 open registers all with long lines including returns (all old people in line). Nothing in stock that would appeal to anyone over than 10 yo and under 65 yo. The women's bathroom is a crime. I would expect that kind of bathroom at a city gas station where the cashier is protected by bulletproof glass, not at a nice mall. It was gross, the mirror is broken into a million pieces, and the mold was everywhere. I suddenly had zero urge to use those facilities. JC Penneys is a dying company; I guess they're just living off of a respirator for now.

Spent most of the time searching for help!? !? !? And was not surprised that upon checking out 90 percent of people in check out line felt the same way this is why malls and stores ARE GOING THE WAY OF THE DINOS!

Great place to shop, especially if you join the email list they will send you coupons that are definitely worth it. The staff here is very friendly also.

Great selection as always. They need to figure out a better payment system. When you go to purchase products you have to wait in a long. Time.

It doesn't stand out much in any way or form. While sales are frequent, there's little to be found of rare or good quality.

The staff are a mixed bag, some are friendly, sweet and knowledgeable, others are rude, dismissive or otherwise ignorant.

That being said my personal shopping experience has rarely been bad. It hasn't been anything special, but nothing horrific either.

All in all a run-of-the-mill department store.

My sister and I have just completed a trip to JCPenney's at Tyrone Square Mall. My sister was looking a new green dress for church. There were several choices and of course she had to try on several of those choices LOL. She found a dress that she just loved and purchased it. Then it was to the food court where I found what I was looking for. A great trip what a great day.

A knowledgeable, personable associate helped me choose curtains for my new home. She found a perfect solution for me, and I appreciate it.

My favorite place to buy clothes from for over 30 years and running. They always have everything I need.

Store shelves are stocked and extra employees are keeping lines moving along during the busy holiday season. Great discounts!

Donna at the lingerie counter was an awesome manager! I put an order online in and Donna helped me exchange them for the right size.

I love shppping at JCPenny as I can always find something wonderful there. I love the clothes and the employees are nice and very helpful.

Good selection and prices. Found several shirts and pants for my son. The cashier was less than pleasant though. Normally that doesn't bother me because everyone can have a bad day, but she was extremely friendly and pleasant with the two customers ahead of me. I will probably return but will avoid her register if I see her again.
