I like this buffet. They had whole catfish and shrimp pasta on the bar. They have a descent salad bar and good desserts, bananna pudding. The restaurant is an old building and the bathrooms are bad but the food was good. They had rice, mashed potatos and gravy. Country cooking. Drink comes with the meal. Relaxed atmosphere.

I understand why they make you pay before you even get to see the food. Tasteless food and not much to choose from. Couldn’t wait to get out.

Good place for delicious buffet food. Two thumbs up for this place. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again.

I’ve been here 5 times now. This is a buffet style, Southern American Restaurant where you’ll find the best Fried Chicken everyday, mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey some days, fried pork chops on some days, macaroni and cheese everyday, roasted potatoes, fish, Cod, Shrimp, different kinds of Soup, Yams, chicken livers, turkey stuffing.you name it.even cabbage the way it’s made in the South.
They have an extensive Salad Bar, so extensive you can even find a Pistachio Salad!
They’ll fry you up a Hamburger and Fries if you ask them, and the desert selection is to die for.
Maria the owner is in the back peeling the pears for the pear crisp pie.
The buffet for an adult is $13.00 and a to go plate is priced by its weight.

As a Registered Nurse working the night shift at the local hospital this is my go to place on my way to the hospital. Me and the night crew stop here on our way to fill up our plates so we aren’t starving at 3am.

Covid precautions include; masks worn by staff and customers are expected to wear plastic disposable gloves which are available on each buffet counter. You are expected to use a new set of gloves every time you go up for a new plate or serving.

The people are friendly, the restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is family oriented with ample parking in the front of the business.

Quick food with a home made American feel.

Buffet food and the setting at this spot is excellent.food with real quality ingredients.there was quick and friendly service.

Not much of a selection. At all. Food was not very fresh or proper temperature. Staff is real nice. I'm begging you to go anywhere but here.

Pros: Lots of room to eat. Friendly staff. Softserve for dessert.

Cons: Food is sub-par; both in quality and in variety in choices.

I would recommend going to The Oaks restaurant, or even Jackson County Hospital (seriously, try their Sunday lunch. Best kept secret in town). Both of these have higher quality food for the price you pay.

Always a great experience. Meal that is worth the money. We always enjoy visiting and having a meal at Jim's. Clean and friendly. Bad part always gain a few pounds. When you are hungry and want a home cooking. Stop at Jim's a great meal.

I love the patriotism displayed here. Not only the decor (military flags, local eatery awards and Americana) but I have witnessed law enforcement officers being extended courtesy not always seen these days.

Fried catfish.pork chops.fried chicken.baked chicken.all very good. Friendly staff and service great. Clean. Prefer mashed potatoes little thicker.other than that preference. Everything was terrific as reviews say.visiting from Illinois.

Good hot.but somewhat flavorless. Service was friendly.atmospere nice. Loved the pretty flowers out front.

First time visiting here. Good southern buffet food with a really nice waitress. Everything was good and hot. Noticed the kitchen staff and other employees keeping an eye on the buffet so nothing ran out. The price was not bad for an all you can eat.

The turkey and dressing was very nice. Enjoyed your banana pudding. Even with the crowd of Mother's Day the service was great and the wait was minimal

I had never been there before but my brother had and we were together. We took a truck driver friend who was sttanede in Mariana to eat there. The food was delicious and everyone there was very friendly and courteous. You felt right at home the atmosphere and food was exceptional. I am going to have to go there again in tbe near future.

Food not bad. Country style. A little bland. Desserts so-so. Restrooms small and not handicap-friendly. Decent buffet price.

We went on Valentine's night and had the sweetheart special it was terrific! Two ribeye steaks with baked potatoes, salad, yeast rolls, tea, coffee, and dessert. Less than$40. That's a deal and Delicious to Boot! We love Jim's always friendly good service hug our necks, just a nice place to EAT!
