They came here to fix a problem that was under warranty. And wanted me to pay 250.00dollars. When I told them I wasn't paying it cause it gets charged back to the company that made the ac, the guy starts yelling and swearing at me. The other guy walked over and did something to the system and it shut down. I have a 75 year old mother in law that lives with me and is in poor health. I wouldn't recommend this company to install anything. I was supposed to have a service every six months they never called and when they came to replace the coil the tech had the balls to tell me there was mold in system. If they did there job correctly there would have been no mold.

Terrible! I inquired about a generator and never received a return call. Currently getting estimates from two other companies that are obviously more interested in making a sale. Really bad customer service.

FPL Home Services installed a new A O Smith 50 gal water heater with circulator and timer. Excellent workmanship, showed up at the appointed time, area left clean. I would highly recommend this company.

You could not call a worse, less responsive air conditioning company. They don't take calls and their automated phone service is primitive at best. Additionally, they also open permits for AC installation on your home and fail to close them out and get final inspections-thereby leaving a City lien on your property. I would give them zero stars if I could be one star is the required minimum. SIMPLY AWFUL.

FPL sent out plumbers to clear a clogged kitchen sink. Three hours later they had installed a new disposal and the sink still did not drain. But I had to pay $625 for the new unit I didn't need and the failed drain snaking I hired two different people for clear the drain and then fix the bad installation on the disposal. I paid $631 to fix their failures. UPDATE: I requested a refund from FPL for the bad work. I had left a message earlier saying I was not happy that their workmen had failed. I hired other services more than two weeks later. The later groups resolved the problems but it still cost me $631. FPL decided not to issue a refund since they' "did not have a chance to resolve the problem". Clearly they have no control or contact with their service people to find out that the work was NOT completed. They also didn't realize that the trainer was not even in the building with the hapless trainee. I guess they thought it was okay that I couldn't use my sink or dishwasher for several weeks after their service. One star is far too generous.

Brian A.is great. He's thorough, personable, dependable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He's top notch for technical service and customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to call and request him by name and highly recommend him and Jupiter-Tequesta AC, Plumbing & Electric Inc.for systems care and customer care.

UPDATE 2/1/2021.

Jupiter/Tequesta AC was acquired by FPL Home Services. FPL customer service has much to be desired.

My story:
* Purchased new York system 3 years ago.
* The variable speed cooling fan (selling point when purchased) has failed 3 times already.that's right - had to be replaced twice in 3 years - so the fan last a year at best.
* I have been a Gold Member paying $21.90 a month to cover maintenance on two units since June of 2016.
* They charge me for service visit when I called and told them that the fan failed (again). They diagnosed the problem in 2 minutes - I told them it failed again. "Ya - it's a problem with these units. "
* They charged me shipping fee ($45) to have warranty part shipped.
* They make me wait a week for shipping then installation.
* Service guys are GREAT. I think they get embarrassed by how the company makes them charge on issues like this.
* I asked for a quote on a new system that doesn't have variable fan thinking they would cut me a good buddy deal (make an accommodation) and get assistance from their supplier - York.
* They take two weeks to get back to me with a quote of $4,200 to replace system. I paid $5,400 three years ago.
* All conversations on phone with polite and very nice rep - Maggie. She is empowered to do nothing without approval from "Eric" and/or "Nemberto".
* I have asked for someone in management to call me for 3 years.never happens.but customer service does record their calls - I'm sure nobody listens to the calls. Neither Eric or Nemberto have called me.they always go through Maggie.
* I cancelled my Gold Member maintenance program today. Maggie handled professionally.
* I'm sure the father & son team that owned and sold Jup/Teq AC to FPL Home Services would be ashamed of what FPL has done to their company and loyal customers.

Stay away from FPL Home Services.lousy customer service when it truly matters.

Scheduled for service call between 3 and 5pm with a call 15 minutes ahead of when they were arriving. Chris C.called at 2: 30 and said he'd be there in 15 minutes. Right on schedule, diagnosed problem with my A/C unit in less than 10 minutes and completed the fix in 30 minutes. All in. I was back to work in less than an hour.oh.and I got set up on a service plan for both of my A/C units for about what I was anticipating to pay for the repair on one unit. I like using local merchants that provide value added service.

Our tech, Taylor is knowledgeable and professional. FPL Home Services customers service is excellent. We recently moved and we were happy to find that Taylor was still our AC tech. We also had plumbing services recently and Seth was very knowledgeable and professional, as well. Very happy with FPL Home Services.

Can't say how frustrating this company is. Mostly sales people, poor service techs - Bought a Daikin AC Unit because Jupiter Tequesta/FPL Home Services recommended it, saying it was the best and had the best warranty. (12 Years) We've had nothing but trouble since it was installed. Even though we have a warranty, Jupiter Tequesta informed up that we need to join their club so we get timely service. Now it seems that every time we need service they have their hands out for more money.
They convinced us to buy a MicroPower filter system. Not knowing we would be forced to buy the filters from Jupiter Tequesta. They delivered the wrong size and charged us, then delivered the wrong sized 2 more times. Now still no filters and they say we have already received the filters and if we want more we have to buy more.
It seems this company only sends out techs that are salespeople and they are always upselling us vs fixing out problems.
Now it's Christmas week and we have no AC. The temps are going up to the mid 80s. FPL Home Services says it will take a week to get parts.

Using this company for many of our rental properties. Great service! Just had an emergency on a Sunday and it took them only an hour to send someone (Thank you Hector!). They are not cheap but they are worth every penny. Martin Schaefer

Worst A/C company ever. They wanted $1400 to replace a blower motor, but recommended a new system because it was so old. Asked for a price and was quoted $5600 PLUS labor. The house is only 1500 sq.ft. What a rip off.

I thought $278 just to drill 2 holes and install a Nest Thermostat that I provided was a little steep. This probably isn’t the most affordable option. However, Rob and Tim were on-time, courteous and completed the job quickly.

Needed a simply wax seal replaced on a toilet. Called their call center and was told the repair wouldn't exceed the service call. When they got to my house they told me the repair would be an additional $200. I then wasted 30 minutes arguing when them on the phone. I decided to hang up and call Buckeye Plumbing and they quoted be $150 less! I had a horrible experience with Jupiter Tequesta plumbing- I do NOT recommend them.

A/C didn't work so I called this company. They couldn't send anyone out the same day, but made an appointment for the next day. Next day comes around and they were a no-show. I called and the person said they have new people answering the phone that didn't make my appointment correctly. Day 2 w/o A/C. Luckily I found another company to help out!

Absolutely ridiculous service! We have been trying to order replacement MicroPower Guard filters since December 2017, yes 2017! Filters never got ordered and when they did finally this year in June, twice now they are the wrong size. Because of the wrong size, the static air cleaner is not working. They don't even deserve 1 star!

This company installed my a/c unit 2 years ago and did not even tell us that the vents are dirty.i found out this due to getting so many allergies so i call them to clean 12 vents and the dryer vent and they want it almost 700 dollars looks like many can be printed on 3D printers now! I called another company and is 189 for 12 vents but they don't do the dryer no problem i can handle the dryer.what a shame

Decade + f/t customer. Called to get electrical ceiling fan installed.finally got person to answer oh we're so busy. Told have at most 6 electrical people total on force for two PB and Martin County. Now own by FPL I would think they could hire few more people so that faithful customers like us would not have to WAIT 5 DAYS BEFORE GETTING SERVICE!

Very good service. I subscribe to a maintenance plan with Jupiter-Tequesta and I am very satisfied. On my last visit (I get two per year under my plan) the Specialist, Gary Burns, did an excellent job by recommending.the optimal type of filters, showning me some simple procedures for keeping my unit in good shape, and suggesting some useful and resonably priced services as preventative measures for other areasof my home (plumbing). The Specialist, as well as the Customer Service group was helpful, professional, and thorough. Thanks!

The tech came out and was awesome but the qoute for the work was super high. I am glad I waited till my normal ac guy could come out 267 savings that’s after paying the 89.00 service fee to Jupiter-tequesta
