Always a great visit. They pay attention to their patients and remember me when I come in. They are patient, efficient, and very helpful.

The blonde woman refused to let me talk to the office manager and provide me a letter that she has to provide. I work in the medical field and know how things work. Her behavior was unethical.

After their office refused to honor a Groupon offer, the owner called to follow up. Earlier in the day her receptionist was extremely rude and threatened to call the police if I still showed up for my appointment (which I had to cancel because they refused to honor the Groupon they sold me and were trying to charge nearly twice as much). Owner went on and on about how they are having issues with Groupon, which as the customer is not my problem. They should have done the right thing from the beginning and honored any existing Groupons instead of waiting until the day before the appointment and trying to charge twice as much. Only after I threatened to write negative reviews did the owner offer to honor the Groupon, but at that point, due to how rude and unprofessional their office had already been, I did not feel comfortable working with them or trust them to honor anything they said. The owner then hung up on me. The number of 1-star reviews (which the owner is now going though and replying to and making excuse after excuse for the horrible service their office has been providing) is just further proof that my experience is not an isolated event. I have worked in healthcare management for 20 years and this office is a prime example of how not to treat patients.

DO NOT GO HERE! I purchased a Groupon for them for a microneedling session which I told them about when I scheduled the appointment. The day before the appointment they called to tell me they won't honor their Groupon and that it would be twice as much and they would be charging me $500! When I asked to speak to the manager about this, they told me they were not available. When I asked what I was suppose to do with my useless Groupon purchase they said I would have to see if Groupon would issue a refund. This feels like a bait and switch when I had this appointment scheduled for weeks and they waited until the afternoon before to reach out about this and try to charge double. Very unprofessional and shady business from this place.

I have never in 20 years of going to Dr. Mills in Ocoee (who sold his practice to Kanan) have I ever been spoken to, or belittled by a doctor. Dr. Alessandro Calvacante whom I’ve never met called me for a teledoc appt for refill. I was switched from one medication a few months ago and it wasn’t really helping so wasn’t sure if I should stay on it or go back to my old one, he then went on a tirade of condescending and hurtful words about me personally and I’ve never met him. He also lowered a dosage for another medication that I’ve been taking for years…when I asked him why he said the national average was a certain dosage. He was so rude and condescending. I then asked to speak to his supervisor; he said it wouldn’t matter because they were not going to change it. I said I didn’t want to speak to them about medications, I wanted to speak to them about his un professionalism and condescending tone from the beginning of the phone call and he hung up on me; he wouldn’t transfer the call. It’s hard trying to find a good doctor, couple that with the anxiety most people have of how they will be treated is now where I’m at after 20 years. I sure hope you don’t treat other patients this way, dr calvacante.

They are kind, courteous, professional, and most importantly appointments run on time. The doctors took the time to listen to my needs and concerns and they did not make me feel rushed. I felt as if I was their only patient. I have never had an issue getting in and their follow up appointment reminders and billing options are helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Kanan Medical. I have moved my entire family over to ensure their quality of care.

Do not work here! You will not get paid it's dysfunctional and unprofessional and you will not get paid on time or at all I had a horrible experience with this company I was sold a dream I have not as yet got all my pay from this company and it's been over 1 month call and all I get is a lie I was there for only 2 weeks and my money was held up for 1 week and they still owe me two days that I can't get as of yet all this company want is a head but can't afford to pay there employees. Please save your time this place is simply garbage Never experience this ever in my whole entire medical field

Was with doctor mills 17 years, great doctor, he retired and these people took over, first thing they did was mess with my meds, I have a severe heart condition that Dr Mills and I kept under control, now my heart is in distress because they don’t like to prescribe certain meds, only to find out the person you see isn’t a doctor, she is a physician assistant, no wonder I’m in distress, they just don’t listen and follow what it states in my medical records, this as far as I’m concerned is medical malpractice, and will be speaking with my attorney. Absolutely disgraceful service

I have been calling office since last Wednesday to get my Mother's prescription of very needed meds filled. I have been promised 4 times they would send it. The one I spoke to this morning said she promised she would get it done today. I told her it was Friday please don't tell me u will if your not. Said she was doing it right then. Just called the pharmacy and they never called it in. Their office is now closed. If by chance they do it later I apologize, but I kinda doubt it.

I should have listened to the reviews here. I am so desperate getting help on my severe eczema and suspected allergy. My skin have big red patches, bumpy, itchy and dry that’s affecting me on my daily activities. I was expecting to be seen by a dermatologist. To my surprise there was none. I was seen by someone who see people as a number only. There was no empathy at all. I was feeling depressed with my skin and need expert to help me. The people here are not friendly at all particularly the receptionist, terrible service! Unnecessary wait time! Not coming back and not recommending to anyone. It’s a waste of your time and money!

In regards to the office, Every time I need an appointment they get me in asap and Everyone is very friendly.

GREAT place!

My primary care physician retired and Kanan Medical bought out his practice. I have been trying to give Kanan a chance to retain me a patient. However, the two interactions I have had with the person (s) answering the phone has been disappointing. The person (s) have been rude and just lacked basic consumer service skills. I asked the lady answering the phone for her name and the spelling, she refused to spell it. I then asked to speak to her manager, finally reluctantly she placed me on hold for her manager. Fifteen minutes later the manager picked up and I expressed lack of satisfaction and my concerns, to what felt like no avail.

I just called to try to make an appointment (new patient) and I have no clue who answered the phone but she was incredibly rude. She had the worst attitude and was not even the slightest bit helpful. She also told me that they'd have to confirm insurance even though I was told a week ago that was already happening. So now I have no ETA on a call back and zero faith in Kanan Medical's front desk staff.

I have been coming here since my most recent hospital stay in September the first doctor i saw here was Dr. Irizarry and i was so happy he had amazing bed side manner he LISTENED it was a great experience. Then i started seeing Dr. Calvacante and from the first time i didnt like him, he was short and wouldn't let you speak you could just feel he wasn't listening to anything you have to say. Well today was the day he came in and off rip was extremely rude at which point he started yelling at me and i got up said i was done and left. I manage a medical office and let me just say if i had a patient walk out like that i would call that patient immediately and see what happened and rectify the situation. I called after i left to ask who i could speak to file a complaint and was told to leave a review. Wow wow wow well here you go. Find a different office to go to if you need care.

The wait time is horrible! The point of having appointments is to be seen at that time not 45 -60 minutes later! Ridiculous! Alessandro is a terrible RN, has no manners and very rude! He should not work here if he does not know how to treat patients!

Doctor julia kostyuk is the best doctor I have ever had.she is so nice to her patients! She will sit with you and hear out all you have to say about your health.they are on time for everything and take you exactly for when you have your appointment.they are all so nice and the office is so clean.the seats are also super presentable and modern.they are super organized and fast when it comes to paperwork or labs. I love this office and recommend it to anyone that wants a caring community and a loving doctor.

Lydia Marsham has absolutely no respect for people’s time. I had a 1: 30 appointment. It is now 2: 11 and I’m still waiting to be seen. Only one person was in the waiting room when I arrived. There is no telling what time she will actually make it in to see me. This is an issue every time I have an appointment with her. Time to find another provider.

I love the care that I receive at Kanan Medical - Altamonte MD. Dr. Calvacante is always helpful and very caring. All the physicians and front desk staff is great. I've been going here for 3 years and have never had an issue getting in or with my insurance.

I called and I ask for an appointment with a dermatologist and I got it for two days later which was to good to be true. I was so happy to get an appointment so soon. When I got there they told me they don’t have a dermatologist there, just a nurse practitioner primary care. What a joke, I drove one hour to see a dermatologist and they don’t have one. They would do anything to get a new patient. Of course I left.

Could not ask for a better more attentive primary care provider than the one I have! Kimberly Keech is a nurse practitioner and it shows in her "bedside manner". She makes you feel heard and cared for and she really knows her stuff! She respects my pronouns, she makes me feel welcome and seen. For anyone looking for a phenomenal primary care provider and/or a GAT provider, she's the one you want taking care of you, your family and your friends! Thank you Kimberly for all you do!
