LA Fitness, North Miami Beach FL

Customer service there is awful. The gym isn't well kept and it is always packed with people. If it wasn't so close to where I live, I wouldn't step foot in here.

My favorite LA Fitness gym bc people are focused on working out not sitting on machines and being lazy.

The babysitting is terrible don’t take ur kids there unless u want to come back and see them crying and the sitter on her phone worst la fitness location I’ve been to a few in the area and this takes the cake for being the worse

This is a good gym, but people leaves all the time dirty paper towels everywhere. Which I found very nasty. Also, personal employee need to keep picking up weights, because they are spread anywhere and it is impossible to find them. It is very annoying. I spent a lot time to work out and pay a lot money too. Do something about it.

Very very busy gym, I only like coming here in the mornings where I can get a real workout in. If you come in after 4, good luck finding an equipment. Depending on what you're looking for in a gym, I would recommend looking elsewhere. However this gym does have good amenities like a swimming pool, child day care, sauna, lockers, showers, racquet ball rooms, basketball ball court and alot of workout equipment.

Despite this gym being packed sometimes, they do a good job at maintaining a sometimes very crowded business. Many of the staff are super nice and will make you feel welcome every time you come there. Many of the group instructors are some of the most professional and inspired fitness leaders you can hope to encounter in a medium-priced gym

Worse gym I’ve ever been to! Keep your things by you the entire time, I got my phone stolen and a window busted outside the gym in less than a month and No one did anything including the general manager SKY.this place is garbage!

Yoga mats are always ripped and broken, it smells gross, mould grows from the fire sprinklers in the women's bathroom. There are good classes and equipment and it's convenient.

Very, very clean and well-kept. Front desk service is probably one of the better ones in a 10 mile radius. Machines and equipment are kept as maintained as possible by staff and no complaints on lack of variety of weights/machines. Great place to work out for beginners.

Came to this LA Fitness to try and avoid the other super unorganized one in Miami that is closer to my home. This one looks way better and cleaner but it also is a bit unorganized in regards to the fact that dumbbells are all over the place and you can't find a pair unless you are looking for 60lbs+ dumbbells. If they can fix that, the gym will be perfect

This is my favorite location in Miami. The staff has stepped it up recently and they added more soap stations. They've got the most space & a really good smoothie bar (with a super nice girl named Mary) 5 star location

The place is ok, but the bathrooms are dirty, the showers have mold, the floor also, the toilet are full of I never go back to that place

It is not my usual LA fitness since I don’t live in Miami, but decided to come for a spinning class while visiting. When I get to the class the “instructor” is a middle age guy who, by the looks of it, never worked out. He is wearing trousers and a tucked in shirt and all he does is play music. That is it! There was no instructions nothing you would expect from a spinning instructor (hence the title). After 10min I thought I had enough of that bs and left the class to do some weights, all the machines are old and rusty. I know LA Fitness is a low budget gym, but the ones I have been in California are in decent shape. This one looks more like a junk yard.

Am new to this gym, but won't be staying long. The free weights are a total mess. Nobody reracks anything and no staff oversees the rerack policy or helps keep that section organized. In the 2 months I've been a member, I've never seen one employee or manager enforce the weights rerack policy. It's literally dangerous having weight plates everywhere to trip all over. Also, no kettlebells.what decent gym nowadays doesn't have kettlebells? None I've ever been to except this place. So many small details here that just seem like no one gives a damn. Management is invisible and ineffective and clueless.

Amazing staff, friendly and nice I have been going to this gym since I was 11 years old. P. S. Try there protein pump shake it's the bomb

Place is trash. Super dirty and the Steam room and Jacuzzi are always broken. Mold all over the cover of the zeri gravity lift in the pool area. I reported it to the manager and corporate but they never even took the time to wash the black mold off yet. (Been about a month already) This place should be closed. I cancelled my membership - overpriced for this trash.

When there’s an employee talking to her friend on the left and that manager is talking to the employee on the right. I know it’s her friend cause at first they were excited to greet each other and they stared talking. Then decided to sit down after a few minutes. I said excuse me while they were all talking. Actually, I’ve said excuse me multiple times. The lady on right turned back to me multiple times. As she was walking away with other employees, I said, “Excuse me, can you help me with something? ” She turned to face me and continued walking away. Great customer service. I just needed help unlocking my locker cause I forgot the code, which is next to the help desk. So helpful.

Just visited the LA fitness in Miami Gardens and couldn’t be more disappointed with the service! The guy at the check in desk is completely oblivious. When I asked him how many day is the guest pass he said “I don’t know, a week or something. ” When I asked him if I could attend classes with the pass he said, ”That I do not know. ” When I asked to speak to some one who did know he told me they were not available, then told me to hold on. So I decided to go in person. I sat waiting to be seen for over 20mins. A man in a light blue dress shirt sitting at the first desk to the left was doing the consulting. A male customer was there and then he called up a lady. He talked to her for a while. When she got up I presumed he would call me next but instead he sat at the desk on his phone drinking coffe. Then he and the blonde woman behind the desk proceeded to discuss other guest businesse out loud. Talking about wealthy menmbers who filed insurance claims for a $10,000 watch that was lost in the facility. I was completely disgusted by the behavior of the employees. I got up and left at that point. When I called the customer service number I was expecting it to be the corporate number. A guy answers and after I expressed my opinion he said “I didn’t see you, I’m the big black guy that was in front. I thought you were someone else. ” I didn’t even get to try theirs gym out but I can assure you I will never return. This gym has horrible customer service.
