Lexington Crossing Apartments, Gainesville FL

We just got a new service manager who has worked tirelessly to fix the maintenance problems. It used to take forever to get anything done, but since the new guy David Lopez came in all of our problems were fixed right away! Definitely considered moving out, but Lexington is starting to be the spot with the cheapest rates.

This is by far the WORST apartment complex in Gainesville. The maintenance is never done in a timely manner. My apartment had ants coming out of the ceiling. I was taking an exam and the maintenance staff were behaving inappropriately. Confidentiality doesn’t exist at this complex so if you have an issue, good luck. The refrigerator wouldn’t make ice for months and when I put in a request no one came to fix it until I called. Also my stove handle broke and when the maintenance came to fix it, it was installed upside down. My counter was uneven and coming off of the wall, my front door never closed correctly. Living here was 100% the biggest mistake I’ve ever made and I’m so glad my lease is up. Btw if you are looking at the reviews the office has promos for leaving positive reviews about the staff and the apartment complex. The majority of the reviews you see are FAKE.

I’ve loved living here! You get a lot for what you pay for- amenities are great and well taken care of. Staff is really helpful and kind. The only complaints I have is that it can be kind of noisy, people litter a lot in the breezeways, and maintenance can take a while

This is my third year living at Lexington Crossing apartments and overall I enjoy it. The staff at the front office is very nice and helpful. Shout out to Brandon for getting rid of a spider at our apartment and being very friendly and helpful! They could improve by thoroughly checking and cleaning apartments before moving in because we did have a rusted microwave and cockroach problems. I think bug problems are pretty common for a lot of apartments in Gainesville, we used moth balls and it helped solve the problem.

The maintenance used to be very slow to complete work orders, however, now they are very prompt and friendly. David and D. J.were super helpful and quick in fixing a few problems we had at our apartment! They definitely went above our expectations for completing what we needed help with.

Shoutout to the new service manager David! He swung by to introduce himself to me and promptly took care of the wasp living on my balcony.

I really enjoy living at Lexington! This will be my second year. Maintenance is a little slow, but other than that, the staff is very friendly. Brandon Ross was very helpful in promptly getting rid of a spider we were worried about and also has been very helpful in the past whenever we've seen him!

Update: Also wanted to give a shout-out to D. J, one of the maintenance staff at Lexington! Had a couple of issues this past week and he was very prompt and helpful in figuring out the issues. Thank you!

Update: I want to give two-thumbs up to the maintenance team! I believe they're under new management with David and their response times are excellent. Our AC was having issues and they (David and DJ) came soon after, not only solved the problem, but also stayed to inform us what the issue was and then asked if there was anything else in the apartment to which they promptly also helped resolve those issues. Our AC ended up needing to be entirely replaced, but the staff were so helpful in letting us know their plan of action. My biggest complaint about Lexington Crossing before was their maintenance response times and their lack of disclosure/explanation, but if this maintenance team keeps on doing what they're doing, I can't see myself ever finding it an issue again - great job guys!:)

The Maintenance Staff (David Lopez) is on top of things and quickly completes work orders. Probably one of the friendliest people I have ever met and is most definitely the best asset Lexington Crossing has to offer

This is Haoming. I'm an international student at UF and I've lived in Lexington Crossing for almost two years!

With its beautiful surroundings and warm-hearted staff, Lexington Crossing is like a second home to me. People are always ready to help and give me nice advice. Also, this place has convenient transportation and a safe environment. I mean, when I was away from my hometown, I had a good time here and really felt happy!

Been staying here for quite some time. The place is great, the people are great and I'd recommend it to any student who wishes to go to UF.

I live in the 4/4 that’s fully upgraded with no carpet. My experience here has been decent, Staff like Ms. Nettie who does her best to accommodate residents is really important. She’s so sweet and gives her all. The bus ride time from here to UF is also decent. Probably about 15-20 mins depending on time of day and traffic!

I’ve had a great experience living here so far, the appliances are new and the apartment is in great condition.

I’ve been living here for a year now and it’s been great. One of the best stays I’ve had so far overall.

The apartments are nice with nice amenities for the price. Staff is very good and helpful, they were always able to solve any issues and answer any questions I had. Specifically Netty, one of the managers of the leasing office did an awesome job making sure my time here has been comfortable and any issues I may have had were taken care of. I recommend living here if you want a quiet living area and don’t want to be too far from everything in town.

Tops my list of cost to benefit ratio. Perfect location for me, and the staff have always been polite and helpful.

Great place to stay at. Affordable, provides lots of amenities. Additionally, the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Huge improvement over my last place. Valet trash pickup is included in the rent and is a lifesaver. Apartments are clean, bedrooms/bathrooms are comfortable and the included furniture are great.

The staff at Lexington crossing is super friendly and they always have the best K-cups. I recommend the Tully’s dark roast. It’s especially bold for a k cup, smooth all the way down, and sustains flavor a while after sipping. I must say Tully’s really is a fantastic blend. The staff at Lexington is like Tully’s - better than most, good all the way through. When you stop in to sign a lease make sure you whip up a special cup for yourself because those bad boys are like 15 pages long and you’ll need the mental sharpness. Anyways, the rent is cheap and if you’re a student that isn’t bourgeoise then just sign here.

What good things could I possibly say about this place. There is a small possibility that it will be hit by a large meteor and vaporized.

My colleague's daughter lives there. She knows she is safe and the price is right. When mamma's happy, everyone's happy. I will recommend to all.

I currently live here and whenever there is a problem maintenance is always there and timely to help out.
