Lowe's Home Improvement, Port Charlotte FL

Usually very happy with ordering online from this store but this time when I called to check the status of my order (wheel barrel), every time I called I was given a different story for the delay. Associate would not transfer my call to the store manager when requested- spent over an hour on hold waiting for an update so finally just canceled order.

Wasted my time! I called ahead to find out if they had a specific item and the lady blatantly lied to me saying they had a bunch! I’m extremely angry do not lie to potential customers! I drove an hour away to get said item!

They have everything I need when I have a job to do. Service has always been great, Thank you for such a great staff

We bought a coupe of appliances there. Salespeople there were very nice, very knowledgeable and helpful. We live the appliances we got also!

It's a little more expensive than 'the other store (HD) ', but well worth the expense. Better service, better inventory, and they stand behind their products.

Had a 15 minute delay in checking out. (Felt like 30 minutes). Actually had the cashier make me feel like I was trying to put one over on him. He said I had insufficient funds, and looked at me like I was scum. He was put out when I asked him to call his bank, like the register prompted him to. Instead he said try another card. I did, reluctantly, with the same results. Turns out, the Lowe's bank couldn't process any CC payments. I should have just walked out. The head cashier stepped in and did what she could. At least she didn't make me feel like dirt.

I belive Lowes is going downhill. They use to employee nice helping people, almost like Ace Hardware. Those days are long gone it seems. We went into the store searching for vinyl tile. We found it in the back and the display with samples was empty. I went licking for help but the young employees were no help. Also we pass by maybe 4 employees and no hello, no greetings, nothing. I especially look at them and give them any opportunity to say something. To the one lady I said hello and no answer. I am not sure we will go back.

I have been looking for a certain type of mulch and could not find it anywhere Lowe's had it. Very friendly people Quick Service and quick delivery

Tried to buy a Christmas tree and the lot was closed at 7: 30pm. When asked the hours, was told they didn't know. Ok thanks, bought one elsewhere.

I bought a washer and dryer and all the hook up equipment. Very bad experience. The salesman didn't have any customers but took 20 minutes to address my purchase. I asked for a delivery date on a Saturday as early as possible. I was advised I would receive a call with a two hour window. Delivery took place at on a Saturday at 3: 00 pm. I am a vet which allows me a 10% military discount and I am in Lowe's system. The salesman did not apply the discount correctly but allowed me $6.39 on a $1054.39 purchase. I pointed out the error and he argued the discount was applied to my receipt. I didn't even get a thank you from the sales clerk for my purchase or my service as a vet.

The next day I returned to the store to express my dissatisfaction with the issues so far. The store manager was given my explanation of what went wrong. He stated, "you are a difficult customer. "

When the appliances were delivered, the dryer door did not close properly and the force used to close it makes the machine move each time I use it. The delivery man said the defective latch will need about 30 days to break in.

Definitely will not be shopping at Lowe's again any time soon. Poor customer service, rude management, Inept cashiers, shoddy appliances.

Love this store! I'm always doing home projects and Lowes is close by! They pretty much carry everything I need for home improvements.

Waited for the employee to get a override. 20 minutes after the employee called for a manager, Said able would be coming 10 minutes later able the manager on duty doesn't show up. The employee said he would be right back. He went and grabbed a manager personally, to get a override which Thomas was very nice and welcoming. Wish this could have been a quicker process.

I don’t know why I didn’t just go to Home Depot. This store was messy, couldn’t find anything, stuff out of stock, no one if cared to help, and when I asked they were rude and didn’t care.

Ordered products 4 days ago they just took $ today no products in a 3 day del.now need to wait 3 more days costumer not happy job delayed

Way nicer than Home Depot as far as being able to find items and having nice wide isles. Very helpful staff also. Still I wish Menards would open a store near here.

Tom and Kady were absolutely amazing. Been in and out over the last few days looking to purchase a washer and dryer set, Tom spent nearly 2 hours helping my wife and I, along with many other customers. My daughter was not having a good time and Tom was very understanding. The help we received was above and beyond what you'd normally get (my experience) at a store, nevermind a home improvement store. We dealt with Kady yesterday and today regarding our purchase. She went out of her way to provide amazing customer service and helped get us the best deal we could get. Needless to say, my wife and I now have a new washer and dryer being delivered on Sunday. Besides being very professional and courteous, they even took the time to thank me for my military service and made sure my wife and I were well taken care of.

I'd rate higher than 5 stars if I could and will definitely be returning for any and all of my home improvement and appliance needs. Outstanding job! I highly recommend Lowe's over any other place and will definitely be telling all my friends and family about my experience. Tom and Kady, thank you again so very much. Lowe's should definitely hire more people like them. I give them an 10 out of 5 stars!

Lowe's is Lowe's, what can I say about it. It is quite annoying that I've gone in there expecting to trust what the employees tell me, only later to find out that the employee was completely wrong. It would be nice if the employees are going to portay themselves as DIY professionals then the advise and instruction they give should be sound and accurate.
For instance I was told I was purchasing hurricane resistant impact windows for my home. After they were installed, my teenage son slapped one of thewindows to scare someone inside the house. The window shattered.

It been the worst experience ever, like no one knows whats, what. If my remolding was no already started I would go somewhere else. That sent wrong sink, only 3 walls for shower. Two of which were damaged. The Shower combo was also damaged, ECT ECT. Well I could go on and on, but you get the picture.

Large general merchandise store. I noticed a lack of store clerk's, although those that are working are very helpful. The store was very busy and ready for the holidays. Lots of parking available.
