The room was amazing, the service was horrible. I paid over $1500 to stay in the room for 5 days and when I arrived I was charged an additional $840, with $240 of that being the standard fee. When I left they gave me most the money back but charged me the $240 twice. When I called back and spoke with the manager she basically blew me off. Even with me sending the my bank statement showing proof of the double charge. I’m very frustrated with their service. I chose this place to to celebrate my anniversary with my wife. This ended up being a horrible experience with this resort. We will not stay here on our next visit.

Was here for a small intimate wedding it sits on the beach great views with a terrace, patio area with a hot tub.with a helpful knowledgeable staff.

The hotel is divine but the attention is terrifying. The first day we arrived at 7: 00 am and they took us 9 HOURS to give us a room, obviously we went to make the corresponding claims and those at the reception made the b0lud0s and only at 15: 00pm finally they give us the room after the second day my brother went to ask at the reception which was the closest supermarket to the hotel and the boy who was there answered him in the most unpleasant way on the planet and on top of that they charge you even when you breathe

Checked in on the 16th from the beginning the whole staff was amazing. Lionel from the concierge helped us right away and made sure that we felt welcomed. Lorena at the front desk was polite she made sure that I enjoyed my first time here in Miami. Diego at the front desk was friendly and funny. Rachelle also at the front desk helped with the confusion of the reservation that we did online she went over and beyond to help make our stay one we will never forget. The room was cleaned and had everything that we needed. I know where I will stay on my next visit with my family. Definitely I will be coming back here again!
Thank you Marenas your whole crew was extremely amazing!

I went thru Airbnb and incurred a lot of additional charges once I arrived. The front desk said the hotel in the building offers full planned packages. FYI, Lesson learned.

The restaurant in the condo is insanely priced. Ex. $8 for 2 cans of coke (12oz), $18 for Chicken nuggets and fries (chicken nuggets where as small as the fries). Just letting you know your certainly not getting your money's worth. (CVS and Publix grocery is a quick walk from the condo so that was a huge plus. We didn't even drive though I had a vehicle because it was that close.
***Service staff was wonderful. We ordered 3 meals and only have a complaint on the one.

The valet parking can be a bit overcrowded but those guys work really hard. Unfortunately, I had a language barrier and we waited for 15 minutes when I told the guy that was my car. Water under the bridge.

The bell hop service is 100%. I suggest tipping good because they know all about the area and they really work hard. Especially if you are moving a cart full of luggage.

The elevators suck and it takes forever. They get overcrowded but 3 were working and 1 was under construction.

The pool this trip was to crowded to do anything but sit in a huddle so we never went.

The chairs, umbrella, and towels was unpleasant. They pack everyone like sardines. You literally have no privacy in conversation and imagine an airplane with 3 seats filled. That's how close they put the chairs. They removed the chairs and umbrellas before the closing time which is not acceptable. If you offer something till 6pm, do not come take my stuff at 5: 50pm.

*****Those wanting chairs and umbrellas in the front. Get there early, I saw a line that could wrap the building for first come first serve. (We could see the chairs from our condo so we knew when to go down to the beach)

Let me say it is very nice facility It's in a wonderful location if you are traveling with family. The only unfortunate thing is that it is poorly managed on the exterior services.

Front desk was amazing and very friendly. They provided anything and everything I needed.

The space next to the condo is under construction so you can bring your own items on that portion of the beach and have a much more private experience.

Please note this opinion comes from a single mother on a budgeted but affordable income. I saved what I needed to take my son to his requested destination (Miami/Sunny Isles) but was surprised about the cost for everything. Exactly why we got the condo, we grocery shopped and cooked for ourselves.

Minimum rooms. Regular service. And the location is very far from all the attractions of Miami Beach.

We have no complaints about the hotel or its staff, they were very kind to us from the front desk to the pool and beach staff, we especially thank Wilber (pool bar) and the guys on the beach were very professional in their work and they attended to us 100%, the food was excellent, the rooms were very good, the hotel had a very pleasant aroma, butoooooo
Unfortunately we observed that the tourists that this hotel receives, especially from Argentina, are very rude and disrespectful mainly towards the hotel workers, denigrating and to the point of being racist towards them and even towards tourists from other countries, we saw it with our eyes and we experienced it firsthand when we wanted to have access to the beach chairs and umbrellas, management should look for a better organization system for the chairs and not let them humiliate their workers and other tourists who also pay for a service This has been the only hotel where we have seen this, very unpleasant, for this reason we do not give a 5 star rating

The quality of this resort is seriously lacking at this time. This property was said to be " leading" in customer service and excellence but sadly, that was not at all our experience!

Despite staying in the most expensive suite of this venue, a housekeeping staff (Cammy or something like that) assaulted me, grabbing my fingers trying to PRY them off towels that another housekeeping staff brought me to the cart to get! This lady was hostile, aggressive, kept advancing angrily towards me, snatched a towel from my arms, and would not listen as her coworkers advised her to calm down. She was verbally abusive calling me names and then used her body to hit me, intentionally pushing me aside.

Roberto, her manager, KEPT this lady working on our floor throughout the day and I had to be alone in the hallway with her AGAIN making myself and my guests HIGHLY uncomfortable and fearful as this obviously dangerous, unprofessional, and hostile person still had access to our suite! Roberto said the lady just needed retraining. If this behavior simply requires "retraining" it is questionable what they train their staff to do in the first place!

I felt horrible that I had recommended this subpar establishment to family who flew in from out of town just to stay here as with this criminal and inexcusable behavior by this person and her supervisors, obviously their trip was ruined too!

I had rented two penthouse suites last year at this place so as a loyal, repeat customer, I NEVER expected to be assaulted on my vacation and then to also have such a subpar unprofessional response from the hotel management! Roberto should have, at the least, removed this unstable person from my floor and not left her unsupervised there!

The security staff, Stanley and Ilse, were very concerned and did their best to assist and address the situation even though Roberto would not tell me who they were and even tried to prevent me from speaking with them!

Roberto, housekeeping manager, was passive aggressive and condescending when I had staff call him to respond to the assault.

Everyone who witnessed this exchange (even their own hotel staff) later told me they were very disappointed with Roberto's demeaning behavior and attitude.

Seeing that Roberto felt it was a good idea for this person to CONTINUING working UNSUPERVISED on my floor after she had assaulted me, I realized that this hotel did not take the event seriously, did not recognize the severity of this issue, did not value me or my safety as a customer, and sadly, I could NOT count on them to keep me safe for the remainder of our stay so I had to call the police to the resort and file a formal police report! The Detective assigned the case said that hostile, unprofessional lady should have been fired!

Cynthia Perez, general manager, finally responded after a few days and was very minimally helpful. She offered no meaningful or reasonable compensation for all all the trauma we endured due to her worker. We had spent thousands of dollars to stay in that suite!

The police told me I should have called them right away and one officer who responded to the scene advised me leave a very negative review with all of this information, on all of the sites to warn people what they could be wasting their money to deal with!

One of my family members who was present is an HR director in New York and she was very uncomfortable with the situation as due to her professional expertise she confirmed that from an HR and corporate compliance perspective, this horrific, never- happen event was NOT handled appropriately by this establishment. Mitigation and Preventive actions should have been implemented but were not.

There is no way that I could recommend this establishment to anyone as I would hate for someone else to be accosted and assaulted when they spend money to stay in a place. If this place could treat loyal, repeat guests in their best suite this way, their customer service commitment is highly questionable! Save your money and spend it somewhere that you will be valued and SAFE.

Very friendly people, beautiful building, super comfortable and clean, facing the sea with a clean and well-kept beach.all the young people very attentive, especially David, he was very attentive at all times and helped us. We will definitely return

Nice, elegant, comfortable. But two details:
1, the shower curtain is too high to keep shower water inside ;
2, the sheets is very thin for old people.

They full kichen, surprise.
Beach service perfect, beach chairs service excellent.

Overall I had a pleasant stay! I stayed Sunday through Wednesday.

Pros:
- friendly staff. Friendly residents as well!
- beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas provided
- extremely easy access to the beach
- great view from my suite
- I received a free room upgrade
- safe area, with lots of walkable restaurants and shops nearby.
- close to both Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports
- great kitchen with plates and utensils

Cons:
- my suite was quite clean but the living room area (couch, carpet, etc) was very outdated and looked like a dentists office so I didn’t use it much.

- there was some sort of construction in the room next door to mine.drilling going on in around 11am or 12pm. It was loud and quite annoying. Thankfully I was headed into town anyway, but the noise would have made it impossible to relax if I had wanted to stay in that day.

- go early to get a good view at the beach. They pack the chairs really closely together. I went at 11 and was at the very back. 2 days later I went at 8 and was at the very front. Do as you will, you can always walk up to the beach and go in the water anyway.

FYI, you will pay an additional $35 in resort fees per night. I think this is probably for all the beachfront resorts, not just Marenas. I would check before booking.

The service and food are very good, as are the people who take care of the Valet Parking and beach sector. Unfortunately, on the last day they forgot to take a suitcase from the room and not even the supervisor could resolve sending it to the airport. Previously, they had me on the phone for almost 1 hour just to confirm if I had really stayed at the hotel. Therefore, after confirmation I had to return to Marenas and from there to the airport, obviously I did not arrive on time and I missed my flight, having a small child. Due to force majeure I was in Miami one more day without having accommodation. Unfortunately they never gave me a solution and that totally overshadowed my stay at the hotel.

Excellent hotel, I had a little rain, I couldn't take much advantage of the beach due to small rains. The staff is great guys, greetings to David, he guided us through everything. It is a recommended hotel focused on customer service

Our overall stay was a nice experience. Very friendly staff willing to accommodate your needs. Upon arrival we were greeted with an offering of champagne. Also, the young lady who checked us in was very friendly and informative.

Our lodging accommodation was nice; however, not as luxury as anticipated for the price. I did enjoy the convenience of being able to access the beach steps from the hotel with staff ready to assist with setup.

Dislikes: (1) having to request towels in our room twice. Cleaning service knocked on our door each morning at 9 am eager to clean the space; yet, each time we returned towels or bathe cloths were missing. (2) valet parking $30 a day, my fault for not researching for hotels with free parking. (3) cleanliness of fitness center, the equipment was filthy, the wipes dispense was empty, and the hand sanitizer dispenser was basically empty too.
Our room was nice to include a mini kitchen, living room and balcony which had a nice side view of the beach. However, the window in the bedroom was dirty enough to be noticed immediately.

A real disaster, it is decadent. The first night they gave us a room that neither the air nor the refrigerator worked. The rooms for 4 people are a scam, the other bed is a sofa bed impossible for an adult to sleep on. IT'S A REAL SCAM. And on top of that it's under repair, so the noise is unbearable. The staff can no longer handle so many complaints. Lousy
