Hamburger was so greasy could not eat it. The bun was soaked with grease. The waiters was very nice and pleasant.

We visit Mel's a few times a year when visiting family (both locations), and it's always good food. During busy times it can be very loud, which is tough to enjoy for anyone wearing hearing aids or anyone who wants to enjoy dinner conversation. We typically try to do dinner a little early if we're going in a big group to Mel's so we can avoid the noise.

Great food and customer service! I ordered salmon and rice with a cup of soup and it was all delicious!

Excellent diner set in 50's decor. A great place to go eat anytime as they serve many varieties of food to choose from. I've had many of their selections and yet to find something that was not a good choice. I recommend the Western Chop Steak, Fish Fry, Pistachio
Crusted Tilapia, Prime Rib is also very good. Great breakfast selections offering many choices. Great diner experience with excellent service and staff. 10 stars for me ️️️️️️️️️️

Did not have the dinner I wanted. Had to substitute. Dinner was warm not hot as I would have preferred. Over all it was just ok.

- Coffee flavored water was not bad just has no flavor. Even lovers of
weak light roast coffee know this is merely coffee flavored water.
- Service was excellent.
- Biscuits and sausage gravy: Biscuits were good, Gravy was good just a
bit bland I like it with a lot more pepper.
- Wife's pork chop and eggs were good.
- Atmosphere was very good. Place was bright and clean.

First of all. My food was cold, I inform my waitress, who then apologized and took my plate I watched where they took it. The chef stuck her finger in the center of my plate in my food, and THEN POURED SAUCE OVER IT AND BROUGHT IT BACK TO ME!

Image of 50's dinner doesn't hold true as music varies from Roy Orbison to bad country to lazy sax lounge music. They also don't know how to turn on subtitles on television.

The food and atmosphere is nice, clean as well. All of the staff is helpful and sweet. Mel's is great if you want burgers and fries. I haven't tried the pasta but I definitely want to soon, it all looks appetizing when they bring it out. Also I'm personally not a breakfast person but theirs is pretty good.

Love this restaurant. Go there for the home cooked meals that are awesome staff is wonderful wish we could go more often.

My breakfast was ok, the biscuit and gravy was hard as a rock, and a 4oz cup of milk which they say is a LG milk was $5.00 ridiculous.we won't be back

Michelle is a very attentive server with a great personality. Breakfast was outstanding and I highly recommend it.

When I first came to Florida Mels was favorite place to go. Last 3 times we went in bad customer service one waitress needs to retire she's been there to long rude and not very pleasant. We walked out on one of the times table next to us got served and there food before we even got our order taken and we were there first. I am a retired restaurant owner and manager. Management and customer service bad.

We are frequent patrons to this 50's style diner. Always enjoyed the oldies music, it was entertaining and added to the ambience. On our last two visit the music has changed. One night it was light Jazz, all we could hear was kitchen noise and the conversation from other patrons tables. Night number two was a mixture of modern junk. Could you please resume your original music style. We really don't like this change.
