I rarely leave reviews but I just had my daughter here and I wanna say I've received here is BEYOND amazing. My L&D nurse Natalie was soooo sweet to me! She came and checked on me periodically and even held my hand when I was scared. I'm so glad I decided to come here. Oh and the BEST hospital food I've ever had! Hands down!

I went to the hospital with strong chest pains, from the moment I arrived I was greeted are treated with the upmost urgency and care; all through my three-day stay, everyone, from the Doctors to the Lab Techs, to the nurses, to the ladies who brought my food, to the lady who cleaned and disinfected my room were great people who cared and brighten the day with encouragement or even a simple smile.
Forgive me if I missed a name, but all the following professionals took care of me those three days and I am very grateful to each and every one of them, in spite of the great risk of the Covid virus they are exposed to, daily:
ER: Beth, Barbie, Dr Ahmad, Dr Cooper.
Nurses: Jincy, Verna, Natalie, Sharon, Patricia, Brenda, Margaret.
Clinical Mgr: Grace, Brenda.
Nurse Mgr: Betsy.
Cardiologist: Dr. Ritter.
Radiologist: Newman.
Cardiology Diagnostics: Orlando.
Resp. Therapist: Chris

I am here at the ER with my mother of 82 years old that hit her head pretty bad. She has a shunt in her head and has headache now. They nurse told me that she has to wait here at the waiting room around 4 hours. This should be considered against human rights. There are just 20 people waiting here. Are you going to tell me that the hospital is full of covid patients? I checked the cases today. One day this abusive and corrupted healrhcare system has to end.

Very rude financial departman staff they have. We came here to childbirth. This is our first baby and it is very special. But this amazing moment started with this rude lady in financial assist in 2nd floor. They act us like a thief, she doesnt know anything about pricing policy. Asking me and other staff. She doesnt have any idea about self payment but has an idea it could be more than the price which is writing in the hospital website. We started our childbirth with an argument with her and we are so sad. Now still in hospital because of birth. She only knows to say "this is how memorial works". Is all memorial act the people like this?

Second review.the hospital did admit him. They had no choice. I bought him a néw backpack and filled it with new clothing, depends, toiletries, etc.
I get to the hospital and they won’t let family or anyone in unless you have been cleared. I’m not talking Covid clearance because they take your temperature and I was wearing a mask. This isn’t a jail! I haven’t been able to see my brother in 6 months. I wanted to talk to him and see what care he is getting. The nurse on his floor let me speak to him via telephone. She was right there listening while it was on speakerphone, so I wasn’t able to bring up legal matters or have a private conversation. His backpack was brought upstairs by someone I didn’t know so I didn’t slip my brother any cash.

I was told it takes a long time to get permission to visit a loved one.really? This act of not letting family in is not to stop the spread of Covid. They could have taken my temperature. This is nothing but control. This hospital sucks and yes I’m going to contact an attorney about how he was treated last night.

RUN! Unless you’re dying and that’s the nearest hospital, I would say take a chance. Otherwise, seek help elsewhere! The worst hospital experience ever, I wished I could’ve scored it a zero star. The ER night staff are the worst, I went there a day ago and was discharged without the doctor going over any of my lab results. Now I’m on my way back to a ER with the same issue, smh. Memorial West, you all have to do better!

I received excellent care during my stay. The staff on the forth floor made sure I was comfortable and continually checked me during the day. Best nurses and doctors.

Review on Memorial West on Flamingo and Pines. 3 days later, mom was never seen by a gastroenterologist or cardiologist. UC visit at BOS PINES revealed inflammation in the intestines-ambulance transfer to them. Later test revealed infection in the colon and low heart rate. Antibiotics ordered by hospitalist-followed by resident and student-Had to leave AMA. That’s it. Going to Memorial West is a risk to your health-stay away.

Amazing hospital, I have to stay overnight at the ER and I have to say that all the medical staff was super attentive and helpful. They made my visit very smoothly and at the same time I never feel that I was staying at a hospital. Kudos for that medical team that honestly do care for their patients. Besides this hospital is extremely clean and organized.

Do they really know the meaning of emergency? More than 4 hours of waiting time in the lobby of the ER and still waiting.

Waited more than 5 hours for a ct scan and more than an hour n half for results. Nurses were not helpful nor even around. Worse hospital experience ever. My husband with high blood sugar in 500's was ignored for hours.

Went to visit a friend in the hospital the other day and was very impressed by the staff. Nurse Brenda was amazing! I’ve never met a nurse that was so caring about her patients. Absolutely excellent

Memorial West is a great hospital, all the nurses and staff are very professional and so nice, very attentive and are dedicated to their jobs and treat you very well.
I was in the hospital in 2017 and July this year, my experience there was the best!

My son and me came in to the hospital to the emergency and nobody was taking care of the baby (2 years old) and I had to call the 911 to receive a really emergency service. Today is July 14 at 2: 15pm so the owner can see the security camera. I recommend to take care about the security camera.

My husband was taken care of really well. Had tests taken and the Doctors and the staff were courteous and concerned. This review is for the emergency part of Memorial West

This Hospital is amazing the customer service was great I was pregnant I had 2 seizures 07/24/17 on my way to my doctor appointment and the Ambulance took me there after God they save my life. Dr.karrie Bataskov and Francessca and the whole staff in general thank you so much I can't be more specific the ICU staff I don't remember you guys name but God knows every single one you that took care of me God bless. My 3 lbs baby girls now she's 10 months. She's a big girl now

Outpatient pain for back they make u get here 2 hours early. The chairs are awful and the nurses are rude and lie. I heard the nurse discussing me with another patient. Unprofessional

This has to be the worst experience I've had with any hospital. Obviously at an ER the objective is to get you in and out however the physician misdiagnosed me and only gave me a med to temporarily alleviate some of my pain. I was then sent a bill for almost $11,000 for a 4 hour ER visit. I will never visit this hospital again!
