I came here today. Is the best service I ever had in the ER. Nurse Laurdes is AMAZINGLY caring, sweet, and very professional. Will recommend this Hospital 100%. Everyone has been just wonderful. Thank God for hospitals like MHW.

I was billed $12,000 for a half-hour visit which involved a moody nurse who clearly didn’t enjoy their job, giving me a script for antibiotics and then sent home. Enough said. They have no shame. That’s 1st world healthcare, folks. If you can pay up.

My wife went in to have a premature baby and while in labor and delivering the baby on the second floor service was great. Especially from a long time nurse Lynn. She made the whole experience a breeze.
Our baby was admitted to the NICU and my wife moved to the third floor.
That’s where the horror started. She was not given her medication unless she asked for it. One night she ringed then for meds and the nurse never showed up while she was laying there and couldn’t move.
48 hours after having the baby she was told she’s being discharged though she haven’t seen the doctor. They told her they needed the room and given 15 minutes to vacate.
Now our child is still in the NICU. I watched our child cry for 30 minutes this morning before I called my wife to call them and What did was disconnect the camera giving us some dumb excuse about camera having to be shared. //mind you this camera has been on our child since the 4th with more babies in the unit. Never again Memorial West. Customer service is terrible.

Came to Pediatrics ER yesterday with my little kid having severe vomits. Except for the rude security guy in the front door everybody was very friendly, professional and understanding. We were helped by Maria (Pilar) Escobar and Jesusa Milalaine. Entered very preoccupied, exited very relieved. Thank you guys!

Worst hospital experience ever. How could a hospital not have enough beds for the patients? Just disgusting.

If you are looking for a job at this hospital please run away. They treat people like garbage. Extremely low pay but we get more and more work added to our load. I have been working here for a while and have seen people who work in the little cafe Au Bon Pain move to 2 other positions in the actual hospital. Yet I have applied to 3 different positions and have been unable to receive even a call back and I am already in the system. Based on the way they treat PCA’s, they think we are idiots. I went to school for Monitor tech, I applied for a position and did not get a call but I saw a hispanic environmental worker got the position. I applied for Info Clerk and I did not get a call but I saw a Hispanic woman got the position. I applied for the gift shop when it had an opening and I saw a young Hispanic woman got that position as well. This is clearly there preference. I have never been written up or had any issues at work and can’t understand why I can’t qualify for another position within the facility that I work at. Not only am I a black woman but I am a PCA and the look down on us and treat us as second class citizens. When other people don’t feel like working, secretaries, physical therapists, transporters, food hostess’s and nurses, WE are left to do their jobs. I figured I would look for another position but because I can’t speak Spanish I am bypassed. Mind you the applications never say they want a spanish speaking person so whoever is doing the hiring is definitely discriminating against any application who’s name doesn’t sound Hispanic. I don’t even want a job here anymore and am moving on. They say they can’t believe Cleveland Clinic pays PCA’s so much but perhaps it’s because PCA’s have the most contact with the most important people, THE PATIENTS. Maybe if they are happy and all of there bills are payed, they will come to work happy not miserable like all of the PCA’s at Memorial. So they had a meeting with us PCA’s and they basically told us to go get an education if we want to make more money. Well most of us do go to school. But I got a job at Cleveland Clinic to make more money. And when I finish nursing school I will work at a hospital that values ALL of its employees. Not just the ones in white coats, blue scrubs or with Hispanic heritage.

Hello, I have my mother at Hialeah Hospital (ICU Unit) since 2 months ago. I would like to know if it is possible to transfer her to your facility for a better treatment. Please contact me. She has Medicaid.

I went to the ER Friday to get assistance with me not having control on the side of my face. Dr. Remaly, spoke to me for minutes about what it is. So he diagnosed me with Bells Palsy. I asked him if I could get a scan there and his response was to speak to a neurologist. He recommended me to a Doctor than no longer exists in that office. Now I’m trying to go around and look for a neurologist available and I can’t get anyone that can see me without an appointment. The next appointment being in May. This is my life and well being. I don’t know what caused this and neither does the doctor. He is assuming what it could be without factual proof. I feel that I was brushed off.stress causes Bell’s palsy and that is what these doctors are mainly causing.

Now I called in and am speaking to the clinical manager Drew from the ER I went to and he has me on hold for 18 minutes now to get information on where I can go.

For all I know this hospital let me unborn baby die. I was at work and could not come any sooner but when I got my wife told that they could not do anything and that once the baby was born (20 weeks) she wil not survive. I did not see any effort in teying to save her and even the doctor did not show up. They let people die in this hospital it is insane to call this place a hospital. It should be shut down.

Nasty hospital. Looks good on the outside yet some "doctors" secretly practice Remote Neural Monitoring on targeted unsuspecting patients.

Horrible ER experience. Memorial Regional supercedes the experience at this place on all levels. The staff at this hospital should be ashamed of theirselves for their incompetence and lack of professionalism. This will be my first and last time at this place.
