We utilized New South Windows in 2015-16 for a big renovation job. After going through the pyramid scheme sales pitch, we decided to move forward. Windows were delayed, there sales rep sent nasty emails, they broke a window during installation, and their installers started a fight with our other contractors. That was just the start, 4 windows leaked within 9 months of install. Most of the latches broke, and we have had two windows fog up. They actually make money on their poor workmanship.
They charge $88 for every visit for their malfunctioning windows. After repairing one window, they left their boom truck in our driveway for a week so we had no access to our garage. Not to mention our friend had to show them how to operate the boom truck. Can't wait for the other one to be repaired. Maybe they can crack more of our driveway since they didn't use boards. Don't be fooled, their quality is no better and their customer service is a zero.

I am writing this review with permission and on behalf of my elderly parents. They thought they were working with a reputable company when their friends referred to them to New South. On 05/15/2020, they ordered and paid half for a few new replacement windows. This is where their nightmare began. As of 10/26/2020, they have not received a refund or their replacement windows. What they have received is the run around and a constant stream of excuse after excuse. This company has taken advantage of my parents and treated them abominably. This is our first step in many to have get this situation resolved.

So glad we chose New South Windows for impact windows and doors for our home in Palm City. The installers, Jeremy, Jason, and Brandon were polite, efficient and left the house with no mess. The quote was less than other companies we contacted. TOTALLY SATISFIED! Paul Hood

We had our windows installed last summer 2019 and our new front door last fall. We had gone to the Margate office and sat down (with basic measurements in hand) and got a no nonsense quote that was almost $20,000 less than only other company that actually gave us a written quote of similar product. We had several that refused to even give a written quote. We had 11 windows and 3 large sliders installed in less than 3 hours. The crew was amazinly efficient and everything was cleaned up afterwards.

I did not use New South. They demanded that my husband and I be there for.a 60-90 minute presentation. My husband had a construction degree and he is the decision maker on our home renovation. He explained that to them. They made the appt and then called back to tell me that if I am not there, they are cancelling. I am the owner of 2 businesses, I get it however when does reason come into the process. I promise you, we will not be pressured to sign on the spot. We are educated consumers that will do our research and make our decision.

Needless to say, I will not be meeting with them. Depression style selling does not work for me.

We purchased hurricane impact windows from New South Window Solutions, last February, to protect us from hurricanes. On Christmas Eve the same windows protected our family from burglars who were trying to to break in with big hammers. The burglars were unable to penetrate due the quality windows manufactured by New South Window Solutions. In addition, we were also impressed with the quality of services we received from New South Window Solutions. We strongly recommend them.

We had impact windows and sliders installed on Monday. The crew was here around 9: 00 and left around 4: 30. We are very impressed by the work they did and that they cleaned up before leaving. We highly recommend their product and service.

We had some timing issues to when the windows were going to be installed but once the crew arrived with the windows they preformed the removal and installation with ease and was done in a very professional manner. They explain every question we had and did a very good job cleaning up. We would recommend Nu-South to anyone. The windows and the install crew were exceptional.

Such a great experience! From the first meeting to our installation New south was the best fit for us with the lifetime warranty and superior product. We stayed for the two days of install and I was shocked at the cleanliness and efficiency of the crew. My house looks brand new and I realize now we had so much noise coming in before that we now don’t. Love them and would recommend to anyone!

Overall I was very happy with everything. The windows are great. I addressed some lack of communication issues and they were very happy for my feedback. The install did take an extra day but the team was friendly and very helpful.

Sales man was pushy. After an hour and 20 mins he could not break down the costs of product or install and became argumentative when I asked questions. The entire quoting process was like dealing with a used car salesman. We went with Builder 1st source instead and save 8k, on an entire home with impact glass all the same sizes and products. Both offered life time warranty, impact Miami dade.

Certainly the product maybe very good. I am not a client but the commercials with the "New South Proud" shouting at me would keep me from making the call. How obtrusive. Just as bad as Treasure Coast Toyota. The message is the perspective of how I think we would be dealt with by a salesperson if we made the call. We won't. Just my personal view. Stop shouting!

After 5 days with no repsonse, Andrew would not provide a price quote for the Owners Agent because he did not feel it was worth his time.

All is NOT well that ends well. Yes, the windows were fine once they got them in. However, in addition to the nearly $10k cost for 7 regular-sized
impact windows, we incurred thousands in additional costs and time lost from work (when we don't work, we don't get paid). New South Windows seems to think that all of the many inconveniences, additional costs, broken outlets, stolen goods, bloody clothing left in our bushes, etc, should be overlooked because they ULTIMATELY managed to successfully install 7 windows (they offered us $500 to cover approximately $5,000 in our costs).

Details:
1) New South Windows promised delivery of 7 windows costing almost $10,000 (which included a 45% discount) in 14 weeks – it was a full HALF YEAR until the final inspection was done.
2) The installation took 7 days and I lost 56 lost hours of work.
3) We were without window treatment in our bedroom for the better part of 2 months.
4) The New South Windows team first showed up with a STEP STOOL to work on 2nd floor windows. They proceeded to start removing a window on the FIRST floor. We stopped them and they left because they did not have a ladder to reach the second floor.
5) The NEXT WEEK, the team worked for a couple of hours and then left.
6) The NEXT WEEK, a team showed up who did not speak English. They broke two outside GFCI outlets. Then they took OUR extension cord (because theirs wasn’t long enough), came into the house, plugged their saw into our dining room outlet – WITHOUT ASKING PERMISSION. The sliding glass door was left ajar. I went to see what they were doing and they were about to start cutting the stucco around the window DIRECTLY ABOVE THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR. Not only was NOTHING covered in the dining room, there was no plastic over the door, and the door was OPEN! I told them they couldn’t start cutting without putting up plastic and covering the furniture and closing the door. That’s when they said both GFCIs “weren’t working” (my husband is an electrician who had replaced both of the GFCIs when we moved in). They proceeded to start cutting anyway. I called the New South Windows office and said they somehow need to communicate with their team to get them to stop, that nothing was covered, and we didn’t want stucco dust in our house for years to come. They left AND TOOK our extension cord.
7) The NEXT WEEK a team appeared and almost immediately the lead guy dropped his concrete saw and almost sawed his toe off. He couldn’t get the bleeding to stop so he had to go to the hospital. NO STEEL-TOED WORK BOOTS AS REQUIRED BY OSHA.
8) The first time I took my dogs for a walk after this incident, my lab grabbed something from the corner of our front patio. It was the cut and bloodied sock that had been left behind (when I told the New South Window’s manager about this he said, “well we can’t control if our employees leave behind bloody socks! ”).
9) They did $1,500 in damage to our alarm system.
10) Their stucco guy was supposed to come out the day after the windows were installed. Instead it took 3 weeks and we had 3 thunderstorms that soaked our open house.
11) New South Windows ordered an inspection. The inspector came and was incredulous: “None of the stucco work has been done and you’ve got gaping holes on a wood frame house! How long have these been open? ”. I responded, “3 weeks”. The inspector said, “Well, I can’t pass these windows with these big gaping holes around them. Would you want me to pass these? ” I said, “No, of course not. " The inspector failed the windows which meant I needed to stay home another day.
12) The final straw was their manager came to see us and offered us $500 to cover all of the above. He stated these problems are not “typical” and that we “are happy with the end result. ” He stated they “fired the crew that damaged the GFCIs” and stole our extension cord. This is supposed to make up for the fact that I lost 56 hours of work, our alarm system is wrecked, and significant damage was done to our home? Oh, and my dog was chewing their workman’s bloody sock.

Thanks to New South, my Boca townhome that was built in the 1980's looks absolutely beautiful. The beauty of the windows and sliding door has brought such a new updated look. I'm ecstatic and would recommend them to all of my family and friends. The crew did a great job.
