Orlando Continental Plaza Hotel reviews
25The room itself is fine. Good if you just need a place to crash after visiting the parks. But you get what you pay for. The walls are paper thin, and we could hear EVERYTHING our neighbors did and it was very apparent that many guests were smoking cigarettes and marijuana as the smell never dissipated in our 7 day stay. Definitely not a place for a family to stay, but fine for a couple of 20 somethings. We pushed the entertainment center in front of our door because we were afraid of people breaking in as lots of men like to hang out on the balcony and yell to anyone who walks by. Also we were put in a conjoined room without any notice anywhere in our reservation and that made us very uncomfortable so we tried to block the door so no one could enter. Also when taking the throw blanket out of its plastic wrapping a ball of HAIR fell out that looked like a spider but was only hair. We stayed back in august 2020 and it was decent so we decided to stay again but it was not good this time. Never going to stay here again. No bed bugs but plenty of mosquitoes that get in somehow and iv wheats lots of people complain about other bugs.
Very clean, and up to date motel. Staff is friendly, and helpful, and located close to everything!
Loved the place. Had a wonderful experience and had a great great time. Family loved it and we will be returning. Again
Was there January 1-3 2019 and our room was surprisingly really Nice it was updated and very clean brand new bed sheets bathroom tv and more staff was kind pool was clean and open 24hrs also the area was amazing and very entertaining would come back if could stay clean and updated
But down line through snap travel for $37 with taxes included. You get what you pay for. The staff are friendly but the rooms were very meager. Zero luxuries but if you need cheap, safe, pretty clean arrangements short-term then this is for you.
Very Bad experience with this motel. I dont want to give a single star also.
I booked a room with the hotel for two days two weeks before and at that time they charged me for the room and on the day of the reservation they charged me again then I thought it might be some deposit or something. I went to the hotel to checkin and the receptionist checked me in and after all the paper work he said the key to the room is lost so I will let you guys in with the master key, we were fully tired and once we went to the room, it was occupied by some other person on my name. Then we came down and he said he will give us one more room, again same thing happened and this room was also under my name and the 2nd charge I was talking about is charged against this room. We again came down and he said he will give a clean room which was showing clean in system and he had the key for this room. Then me and my friend went to that room and opened the door.their is a naked girl in the room. I was like thats it, we dont want to stay here anymore and left. They are charging my credit card without my authorization and giving rooms to other people. I still did not receive the refund. Very bad experiance and I will not suggest anyone to this place. I'm taking some serious actions on this issue I faced.
Gross Lobby, Gross Hallway, Broken Door, Collapsed Bed!
We booked here as it was the last hotel in Orland for a "reasonable" rate last minute. Problems began as soon as we entered the lobby. The few pieces of furniture in the lobby were so badly stained that I didn't even want to look at them, let alone sit on them. We had booked a room with two queen beds, but only a single king room was left. The guy at the front desk did take $40 off the room which I felt had made up for that. The halls were very dirty, paint peeling off, and overall very gross. The room was actually surprisingly nice, looking to had been very recently remodeled. Appliances and lamps were unplugged, but that really was not a big deal. Sheets looked to have been minimally stained, but overall fairly clean. The old door to the outside had about an inch of play in it when latched, and felt as if it could have been kicked in with little effort. The backing plate fell off the door latch after it had been opened a few times, giving even more play in the door, and making the room far less secure. The nail in the coffin was the bed collapsing and folding in half as soon as I sat on it. Once again the guy at the front desk was very nice and quickly gave a refund with no hesitation. Glad we didn't have to stay the night!
Room was not clean. Sheets on the bed were damp. The carpet was sticky. The drain of the bathtub was rusted and the sink handle was broken off. Check out is at 11am but the cleaning staff was stalking our room and asking if we were going to leave soon 2 hours before check out
DO NOT BOOK! This hotel has bugs and insects, the front desk clerk Mrs. Ramaro is very rude and she has no patient with the guest. I do not like the way we were treated. I canceled and the hotel still charged my card, so unprofessional.
Ok ok hotel (read motel). Damp carpets, poorly maintained rooms. Stay if you are looking for a bed to spend a night for cheap.
Worst hotel I've been in found a massive roach and was outdated moved rooms and no lamps had bulbs in it and fire alarm wasnt installed prior avoid at all costs
You get what you pay for. My advice go somewhere else, Hotel manager was no help at all, Outdated rooms, old TV's, ragged rugs in rooms, Etc.etc.
Within walking distance to Universal Studios. Staff is friendly. Not the nicest place to stay, but it's affordable and they are posting they are updating the whole place.
Ugly dirty never visit! Cockroaches in the room, no safe box, old, water leak in toilet, bad bad bad
Can I rate it zero stars? This place is so run down. The lamp's power button was ripped out and the outlet looked blown out. There was some kind of brownish liquid under the lamp too. The bath tub had a hole in the bottom of it that had been patched up sloppily with glue splattered all around the patch. There was gum stuck to the side of the headboard. There were brown stains all over the bench seating. Not a good place!
It's wasn't Bad but wasn't Good. They are renovating the hotel, our room didn't have a microwave or refrigerator and the commode was for my 3 year old son. Bed was comfortable, room was clean.
Genau das was ich für 22$ die Nacht erwarte. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber ansonsten ist das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis unschlagbar.
The hotel is sooo nasty there is wet carpet in the room and they bed was stained. Please please people Don't stay here you will be totally disappointed. They should shut down the hotel. I was charged too 2 rooms and i said no more and left. This place sucks.
To be honest it didnt look that good but they are getting ready to renovate and we went in knowing. Rooms are clean but outdated. Little food spot and staff is nice. Surrounded by fast food walgreens 711 and location is everything. Oh the pool was nice and clean. After they renovate easy 5 stars
Love to stay here. They are clean and the staff are wonderful. Having the shuttle bus available to the theme parks is great. If you enjoy walking, like me.universal studio and city walk is only a 20 minute walk, there's so much to do around this hotel, no need to have a car.
