Had a great experience both times having been to this facility’s ER. Doctors, nurses, radiology Techs and even the security guards have been nothing but nice, polite, patient and caring.

They answer all questions, explain medical symptoms, diagnoses and processes to patients and family without making you feel dumb or like a bother. They truly are kind and helpful people giving their all on the frontlines

I recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl at Oviedo Medical Center and I had the absolute best Experience. I can’t be satisfied enough with the outstanding staff and the level of care that i received. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with high esteem. The RN’s at Oviedo Medical Center (Jamie and Leticia) are absolutely incredible, patient and observant! The team of Doctors are knowledgeable and skilled in their profession. In addition I would like to add, this have been the most pleasant birth out of all my children! If you are looking for a labor & Delivery hospital with a great team of staff, a clean, and welcoming environment #looknofuther!

A close family member of mine was admitted with a gallbladder infection. A week prior she had just given birth. So upon arrival she went into er they put her on labor and delivery floor.that floor is awesome no complaints. When she had the surgery to remove the gallbladder she was moved across the hall to just the 3rd floor rooms so to speak. When she was transferred from surgery to her room she was left there for 45min and no one entered. When I approached the nurse station and asked for an update they didn't know she was in the room. Next day we waited on a dr. Her ob showed up early had no answers about anything that went on. Said she was waiting on surgery and would reach out to him.
When she asked for pain medication it took over an hour to receive it. And when she asked for water it never came until the nurse entered the room just to check on things which was 2 hour later. When the iv ran out called nurses station no one came. Talked to nurse leader. Seemed concerned but no change in the way things where done.it was like that the whole day. Nurse said she had been in contact with surgern
All day.when he entered later that evening we asked him what was up he said no one contacted him. He said I'm just a text or call away.nurse standing there speechless. I'm not sure what is the deal there maybe they are short staffed I know my opinion of the tech is she was lazy. Just from watching her for the short time. And the Nurse was not trust worthy at all. I would not recommend this hospital for post surgery. I would definitely recommend the labor and delivery ward as I said in the beginning they are awesome just sucks the rest of the hospital couldn't be more like them.

Please, Please. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! CARELESS DOCTORS! I
Went with my husband there at 6: 00 pm after a accident. The did five X-rays. And later repeat another one. I was and I am still in pain. They offer me an Ibuprofen 800 (I CANNOT TAKE THEM DO TO STOMACH ISSUES) then they put me a muscle relaxer. I was telling them that my migraine was horrible and they gave me a Tylenol. Time passed and suddenly after 6 horrible hours a nurse came with the discharge paperwork saying that the results were on their portal (A LIE) I went there and no results were available. Then I asked why a doctor never came to my room to explain the results or ask how I’m feeling (still in a lot of pain due to the accident) and the doctor said that the previous doctor went home. So that means if one doctor ends their shift the next one it’s not going to help you? Very unprofessional. The doctor that see me was Dr. Grider and the one that was there was Dr. Tambone Robert. I was thinking and talking to my husband on my way home and I decided to call the ER with my concern. I never said my name and the doctor was telling me “some results over the phone”
That I don’t even know that it was mine. He was very unprofessional and Rude! Same the one who finished their shift who never came to me and say a word.

BEWARE - make certain you verify how the doctor will be coding your visit. I went in for a presistant cough after recovering from Covid-19. They escorted me around the building and brought me through the back door as if I were contagious. Yet billing me $700 because the doctor didn't code my visit as Covid-19 related.

Absolute waste of an ER visit. After a few days of battling what we thought were sinus issues (facial pain, headaches), my wife's pain increased to the point where she was in tears Sunday evening. After multiple telemedicine calls across the past few days (Friday night prescribed antibiotics, Saturday night prescribed a steroid for pain), we made the decision to go to the ER, as the pain was absolutely unbearable.

She was given a regular strength Tylenol (no help for pain), an antihistamine and prescribed anti nausea medication (she hadn't even mentioned nausea one time to the ER doc). Nausea medication does what for pain relief?

She herself, requested that a catscan be done (as she's had a major sinus infection 15 years prior, only detectable through catscan), but the ER doc assured her (before even performing this catscan) the results wouldn't effect treatment plan.

Read that again - the doctor assured her that results of the catscan wouldn't change treatment plan - before it was even performed. She's since been referred to an ENT, with ZERO help in diagnosis and ZERO management in pain from the ER.

I can't stress enough to anyone reading this - this was an absolute waste of an ER visit. Check your providers and go ANYWHERE else. I hate to question the expertise of these doctors, but this is unacceptable.

My daughter was treated at OMC Emergency Department. The care was phenomenal, beyond expectations. She received compassionate care from both, Doctor and Nurses. Within minutes, she was brought to a room and immediately seen by the Nurse and Doctor! This place is most definitely the best Emergency Department ever! Many thanks to all who provided compassionate care as though she were a family member.

Worst experience ever! Dont come to this hospital if you have other choices. Waited about two hours in the emergency room waiting to be seen by a Dr.and the Dr. (Dr. Adam) Is the worst Dr.

Great place to go. The staff gos out of there way to make your stay comfortable. You can go to other hospitals and be treated like cattle. Or you can come here and be treated like a human being. From the time you walk through the front doors from one world to a other. Why I gave this hospital a great rating go and find out. You will be happy if you do.

The most lazy carefree staff, most rude Doctors and nurses.they swabbed my “throat” only touching the top of my mouth treated me for strep throat which we already knew i didn’t have. Didn’t wait for my labs to come back before sending me out & treated me with medication that landed me in a different hospital for 2 days.

I don't know what kind of experience everyone else had but mine was awesome. At the ER where I went, Dr. Mensah, Steve the X-ray tech, and the 2 nurses that helped me were awesome. They treated me with the upmost respect and professionalism. They made feel comfortable and valuable and took excellent care of me. I was extremely ill and they made me feel so much better. Thanks again!

Very quick, attentive, kind, and knowledgeable team of nurses, CNAs, doctors, surgeons and anesthesiologists. I couldn't have chosen a better place to come and get healed. They are very good people and I will forever be grateful to them.

I haven’t had really good experiences a few other times a year ago. But last week Dr. Whitney took really good care of me when I was going through my health issues and the staff was nice. So it depends on the staff it’s a hit or miss.

Had a great experience here. And no billing issues! The actual cost came back lower than the estimate and they promptly refunded me the overage with no issues.

I gave birth here with my first child over a month ago, and it was the best experience! My husband and I both are glad we went with Oviedo Medical Center. Not busy quite, Everyone there is so nice, helpful and respects any decision you decide for you and your baby. Definitely recommend coming here to anyone.

This is one of the worst places. Please do not take your loved ones here. They don't even have morphine or lidocaine in stock. Most of the nurses are wonderful, and most of the physicians we came in contact with are terrible.

All ERs charge alot for any visit, but charging the insurance company $6500 for a bit of lidocaine and a bandage for slicing my fingers is ridiculous. I recently scratched my eyeball. I went to the Urgent Care closer to my house. They were fast, professional, and it was $75 withmy copay. Eye is great. This ER is useless for little things, dont waste your money.
