Went to get a tire plugged do to a nail and it turned out the nail did not make it through the tire, the staff was completely honest with me and did not charge me for time. I appreciate their honesty in a time when it's hard to trust any auto repair shop. Will definitely return again!

They are rude overpriced and unprofessional. The manager tried to ask my son to leave because he was "suspicious looking" he is only 12 years old. I will never go there again

They made us wait until they closed to tell us they didn't have tires for our car. Proceeded to give us old tires which had a flat before we got home. Bad customer service.

OIL LEAKING OUT AFTER THEY WORKED ON IT! It was taking an unusaualy long time. They told me the kid working on it was new and they were sorry it was taking so long. They assured me that it wouldn't leak. Next day, oil in my driveway! They made me go pick up a part at VW, because they stripped the oil plug. After they, repeatedly, claimed it wasn't their fault. And that someone else must have stripped it out, but not their guy.no, not possible. (My car looks and runs in like new condition. It was not leaking oil before they worked on it. And I asked if they worked on German cars beforehand.) They didn't even fill the window washer fluid, which was supposed to be included in the $100 oil change. Even after having the car, TWICE, in their shop. Also, I don't think they put the right oil in. I asked if they used European oil, which is what the car maker says to use, and the answer was, "they always double check the computer. " The receipt did not reflect Euro oil, it just said Premium Synthetic. I was issued a discount off the original oil change price, down to like $60, but honestly, after everything. Oh, and before all of this, I made the appointment at PEP Boys in Altamonte. Turns out their are more than one. None of them had my appt.in the system. And I called to verify, before driving there because I live 45 min.away. The person answering the phone, said yes, they had it, and to come on down. When I got there, they told me, I was at the wrong one. Drove to the other one, and they said my appt was at the first place. Ugh! Very frustrating 2 days! All I wanted was a simple oil change. If you have a VW, BMW, Mercedes, or any other foreign car, save yourself the headache and DO NOT GO TO PEP BOYS.

I brought my truck in for a repair estimate at Pep Boys on East Altamonte in Altamonte Florida. After approving repairs in excess of $2,000 they assured me the truck would be ready by the end of the day. Late afternoon they call to inform me the truck can be picked up but I'll have to bring it back because they received the wrong part. While not happy with this I asked if they would accept a check because I'd misplaced my debit card. If not, I'd simply pick it up the following day when the repairs were completed entirely. They assure me they will accept a check as long as the funds were there which they were.

I summon a Lyft driver at $20 to drive me over to Pep Boys. I write the check and 20 minutes later they tell me the check declined. I promptly call Bank of America and they inform while I have more than enough funds to cover the check, Pep Boys check verification service is responsible for declining the check. Now I'm stuck! I have to summon Lyft again at another $20.00.

Without question one of the worst customer service experiences of my life! Another being the last time I used Pep Boys where I had to make 2 return trips because they failed to install the right blinker light. Once I pick up my truck tomorrow I will "NEVER" use those incompetent AHoles ever again!

Had a problem with my battery they took good care of me came out to my car check the battery out nature was badd I purchased a new battery same prices as Walmart. They put it in my car in a timely manner wonderful wonderful courteous sales people. Thank you so much.

Not a good experience they charge too much and want to do unnecessary car repairs. Not a good management team.

The staff is straight to the point and courteous. No ling waits fair prices and you can always save with a coupon.

Went there last night because I had an emergency flat tire situation but I filled the tire to almost 40 psi and took it there because it was closest. It was holding the air. They said they checked the tire and nothing wrong with it they said it was holding air at 30 pounds told them it was losing air because I had filled it to almost 40. They said they couldnt find anything wrong. So I left and it was late so I figured maybe I was wrong. Get to work and tire is almost flat. So there is something wrong with it and of the three employees that were there last night none of them could figure it out.a tire. I will never go to a Pep boys again. In my opinion if they cant figure out why a tire is going flat then what else do they not know how to do? Now I have to spend extra time and money today to get this taken care of. If they had been competent that time and money could have been spent in their store as a loyal customer. Now I hope no one goes there.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a dead battery and they helped me get it to the store, have it serviced and I was on my way. With a new battery and an oil change. Thank You

This is the only mechanics shop that I trust. The people here are honest and have yet to try to screw me over.

I didn’t get the gentleman’s name but he worked in parts and he was wonderful. Just a real pleasure to have him wait on my Husband and I.

Literally had time to sit and think about leaving a bad review for 5 minutes while waiting to purchase a set of bulbs and then enough time to type this.

Don't go here if you plan on things being done in a timely manner. Management doesn't know how to set appropriate time frames for customers getting something simple as a battery replaced. "In a momment, a short time, ect. " otherwise staff is peasant. Just buy the part and do it yourself or have someone else do it for you.
