Pep boys confirmed my appt to install 4.tires Monday. When I arrived, they only had 3 of my 4 tires; the 4th was scheduled to arrive the next day.

I have always had a great experience at Pep Boys, but this was an exceptional round of a location that was going out of business. It seems depressing for the people working that it was their last day, but the two people that I spoke to were extremely helpful and in very good spirits!

I have been going to Pep Boys long before it became Peb Boys and have known Ron Dickinson for all that time, and I can't begin to express the feelings I have that are comparable to what I feel for my own family for him and Pat O'connor, both of whom I trust will make sure that whatever your needs are, it will be met with the best attention above and beyond their abilities.

Took 2 hours to conduct a simple oil change. Said I could do a synthetic blend for my 2019 Elantra and would cost $35 and go down to $30 with military discount. When I arrived, they could only do conventional or full synthetic which costs $61 and doesn't include military discount. After ringing me up, I let the cashier know that I hear there were cheaper options around town and that they wouldn't refund the difference because I had already paid. Happy to hear this store is closing and wont scam anymore unknowing college students.

I get an oil change and everything is “ok” but I go to my local mechanic and turns out the person working on my oil change screwed up underneath the engine. I call Pep Boys to let them know what happened and they tell me that they possibly will charge me just to fix something they’ve done. Horrible customer service and overpriced.

They wanted to charge $64 to change a headlight. I had the tools and the new light, but just needed some help figuring out how to install it. $64. Do NOT waste your money here.

I would not go back to this location. They confused my vehicle with another person's car even though I showed that indiviual my car five minutes before. Awful customer service. And terrible prices. I went to my local mechanic and received better service for less than half the price.

College students beware of this Pep Boys. They just tried to rip off my son a college student at UCF for $400 for a $20 part and 15 minutes labor. Then they gave an excuse that it would be installed by professionals. Being in the automotive business for 35 years I find Pep Boys actions to be absolutely appalling I think they should stick to changing tires and oil changes. Leave the repairs if you can't do them to the real professionals that have some semblance of fair practices.

A basic oil change took them 3 hours. There was one other car in the bay. Mechanics standing around.

I've been to multiple Pep Boys Locations and they were excellent, but this location is by far the worst. It took 2hrs and 20 mins for a simple oil change. I had an appointment and they did not even start working on my vehicle until and 1hr 20 mins later. Then I probably would have ended up waiting longer, but I saw them pull my vehicle out of the garage. I thought I would wait 10 - 15mins max to give them a chance to get me from the waiting area. However, I ended up going to the desk after 15 mins and they didn't even have my information and keys at the desk yet. It was still out in the garage, and the mechanic was already working on a different vehicle. Then when I got to my car they didn't even replace the recommend mileage to return for oil change sticker. I would recommend Pep Boys because of the great prices and usually great service, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this location.

Still the BOYS. Got what you need at a price you want to pick pay. Great customer service too, Manny and Moe would be happy.

I called at 4: 25p to ask if they could fit my car in at 5: 30p for an oil change. They said they had one car and would fit it in. I asked if they needed a name for a reservation, and I was told no. I arrived there at 5: 30 on the dot and was turned away because they suddenly had multiple appointments (3 bays with 1 tech working). Mind you this was after another store called and told me my online appointment was cancelled because their actual schedule was full (which I understand) (kudos to this store, I'm going back to you). I gave this location one chance, and when time is precious I cannot risk a second try especially when many others share similar concerns regarding scheduling problems and delays. Never accept business if you cannot deliver it. With a $50k show quality car, I fear how loose everything else is run in the shop if that much cannot be controlled in the span of one hour, whereas the other shop nearby called me within seconds of my appointment having a problem.

Terrible service same oil issue came back up even after having an entire diagnostic and repair. Then charge the same amount when I bring the issue up again. They deserve 0 stars.

Came here to get tires and was told my front struts were bad (I knew they weren't very good, I've just been putting it off for a while). They quoted me $700 for the replacement, which included $225 in parts for each strut assembly. I looked up the item numbers they listed and they were $125 each on Pepboy's own website (not to mention, $70 on Amazon).

Would not assist us with a basic oil refill, and laughed in the faces of new drivers for lacking knowledge about engines. Would recommend auto zone across the street.

Great staff and great service! Jesse and Freddy are such great associates. They always take care of me and give prompt A+ service.

Dishonest and tried to rip me off.
Took 2011 Honda Crosstour in for shimmy on acceleration and told them it happened after hitting a curb pretty hard.

Got a call and was told the issue was the CV Axel.

LIE #1) I was told that this car was only made for a few years so it is a dealer part. LIE - It is an accord with a different body and I could pick the parts up at any local parts store I checked.

LIE #2) I was told that the parts were over $500 and that the labor was $400 and that it needed an alignment so the cost was about $1200. LIE - when I got there the parts were over $500 each Making the cost almost $1800.

LIE #3) I was told that there was sever wear in the axel joints and that the car was unsafe to drive for very long. LIE - When I took it for a 2nd opinion with another mechanic I was told that the Axel was showing very little wear. There was no damage to any of the boots. There was no warping or any other issues.

The only problem was that the wheels were knocked out of balance by hitting the curb. The other mechanic took it apart and went through all of the pieces carefully. Re-balanced the front wheels. Verified everything was safe and charged me LESS than Pep Boys charged me to LIE to me. The car runs very well now no thanks to Pep Boys.

NEVER TRUST THIS PLACE. They don't look at the problem they use a book to see what the worst case for the symptoms are and then create a scenario to scare you into paying for their service.

I wish I got the name of the employee who was "helping" me, but he was quite simply, misogynistic and an aggressive individual. When my boyfriend was at the desk, he was nice, and as soon as my boyfriend went outside, he was disrespectful to me to the point that I left crying. Not to mention that he scoffed and belittled me when I was in shock that my repair was going to be "between $230-$680" (how is that even an appropriate estimate) for a minor fix of a button. After leaving in distraught, I immediately went to my Jeep dealership where I was in and out within the hour, helped by a respectful man, and paid $90. I will never be going to a Pep Boys again, and I would encourage any woman not to either.
