Pet Supermarket, Tampa FL

There's this associate that recommended a metal litter scoop to me, and she even said when she recommended it that it was a weird thing to have a favorite of, but she was so right. It literally takes us seconds to do the litter
box with that scoop. I'm mainly writing this hoping she'll she it bc GIRL U WAS RIGHT.

It's a little pricey here but i found what i needed and purchased it. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Love them, has a "home, small-and-local" type vibe. Discounts for military and vets, discounts with loyalty points that actually pay off $5-25 dollars every three visits. A HUGE variety of products, knowledgeable staff, cute, adoptable, inexpensive, background chipped and spay/neutered live animals for sale in living realistic and appropriate environments. Birds, rodents, reptiles, saltwater and freshwater fish, cats, kittens, rabbits, ferrets. And feed, treats, housing, carriers, litter boxes, water dispensers, leashes, food bowls, decorated accessories, generic inexpensive toy packages, premium, organic, choices, brand loyal, brand niche, brand popular.

Very helpful and overall nice people there helping you! Not too expensive, if you are on a budget there are quite a few things to choose from. Large selection of dog treats and toys that I can appriciate. Thank you for your execllent service and kindness!

Pet Supermarket is now not only the best Pet Joint - Dog Wash next door just opened! Its easy to use at a great price! They also have a vet twice a week for walk in visits! LOVE LOVE Pet Supermarket.

Everytime I buy a fish for my aquarium from this store they are always sick and require a lot of nursing back to good health. I bought a peacock cichlid on 01/04/2020 and its sick and is about to die. I seperated it from my healthy cichlids and have her in her own tank and I am treating her to save her. This is the 3rd fish I nurse back to health.

Great place I purchased our family Fire Skink from this location. We even named him Mr. Kempling.

There is a gentleman who works in the back in the aquatic section. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but I have to say he is WONDERFUL. This was my second stop to get turtle supplies. He is very knowledgeable, very friendly, and is willing to share his personnel experience with turtles to help people. I hope you realize what a valuable employee he is! I will be back just because of him!

Poor customer service by cashier #29510. Crappy attitude!

Ideal customer service, such as please and thank you, while maintaining eye contact, goes a long way. The cashier neither made eye contact, nor made an effort to be hospitable. If anything I was treated like I was an inconvenience to him.

His attitude was so poor, he should look elsewhere for employment; as being unhappy with his job is the only logical explanation I could fathom for being so rude.

I will not visit Pet Supermarket again. I’ll be sharing my negative experience with friends, and family. I will also discouraging them from shopping at this location.

P.s. Clean up the exterior of the store. There are wires hanging down the back of the display cases, that are visual from outside the store. There are also thick cobwebs, and layers of dust behind the display cases. Take pride in your store. Train your staff to do the same!

The staff was very helpful but I only had my guinea pig for about two weeks and it died right in front of my eyes in the cage that guinea pig had been in the tank at the pet store they had put new ones in the same tank so who knows what happened

I love the prices, even on what would normally be a high end item, it's still reasonably priced. The staff is almost always knowledgeable about their products and I love to see all the cool fur babies walking around the store. It's a nice, fun place to shop for your four legged friends and family. ;)

I have big dogs that go through toys weekly. Pet Superman has great prices and the staff are always willing to help. I will definitely be back. Next week. For more toys

Wife shopped there today, upon check out asked for the canned food to be put in more than 1 bag, was told due to cost could not use more than 1 bag but double bagged the 1 bag of cans anyway. Will be shopping at petsmart from now on eventhough longer drive.

Has everything you could need pet related. And cheaper than Petco and PetSmart. Thank God. The only issue I have with this store is that they overstock the fish so badly. You can't even see the back of the tank. They do however have great customer service and they partner with the Tampa humane society to adopt out cats that are fully vaccinated and spayed/nueterd. These cats are ready to take home that same day.

The best Pet Supermarket in our area

I have always had great customer service here! Even when I can’t find what I need, the employees are friendly and usually try to help me find an alternative or tell me when something will be in. The conditions of their animal habitats are always clean and the animals seem healthy!

The people are friendly and helpful. But I have went in This store 4 times now and Everytime I had to go find someone to come help me. I will be back because my over all expenses here have been good so far.

I bought two Blue Velvet shrimp from here last week, and they not only died but passed on a disease to all my other shrimp and so far five of them have died. Never buy invertebrates from here.

Staff greeted us as we entered the store. They also offered to help find what we where looking for. Plus, they were very friendly and knowledgeable at check out. Will definitely return for my pets future needs. Keep up the great work.
