Bad management. These people do not respect their customers, spent 15 minutes in drive through line just to be told that they are closed at 8: 57pm? ! There were quite a few cars behind me too. Maintaining posted business hours is a very basic function, which makes wonder what other basic functions are they incapable of? I have been disappointed with Pollo Tropical for a while because of long, slow drive through service and no option to order inside, this was the last straw

I ordered for my office on Ubereats and they had no drivers available so I had to go pick it up. I arrive at the time it said my order will be ready to find the dining room closed with a note saying drive thru only. I spent the next 50 mins sitting in the drive thru line. I finally get my food and it's cold as hell and they refused to make a fresh order. I get back to the office to find several items are missing. I didn't waste my time calling the restaurant because of their lack of caring when I was there. I will just take this up with Ubereats.

Always a good choice for family friendly meals. We frequent the drive-thru, and the service is good and efficient.

Ordered one hour ahead, arrived 10 minutes after time due, called and was hung up on, went inside and was told 10 more minutes, which takes me to a half an hour after time of pickup recall. Counter girl was extremely rude, and shared that they are backed up and shorthanded, question is why did this now become my problem since it pre ordered an hour ahead and took an hour and a half to have ready. Wont be back and advise others to go to another location. Totally unprofessional and reached out to corporate thinking they might want to know how they are being represented (especially in this day and age), obviously their silence is evident of their disconcern. Horrible experience.

HORRIBLE!
1.) We ordered on the app, parked in the spot for pick up. Nope! The phone number to call when you are parked in the spot, no one answers. HAD to do it on the app.not sure why the sign is even there? !

2.) got home with our order. 2 Bowls.
NO sauce at all.
NO chicken at all in mine
NO steak in the other, at all

Now, I understand that this company is most likely hiring minimum wage workers, but common folks, it printed out, all they had to do was follow the instructions. Seems elementary, basic. But nope that is a task WAY to hard to learn at this location. Poor management, hiring skills are to blame OBVIOUSLY.

3.) called the store upon realizing we paid to eat rice and rice alone for dinner. NO ANSWER.

4.) then called the 1-800 number and sat on hold for 11 minutes, then a woman "took a report to send to upper management", and that is her job. That's all she can do.
BUT.here it comes.there a catch.you must give your name, home address, phone number and email. Wonder who they are selling that info to?

Name of this game. STAY AWAY this place is nothing but an annoying waste of $15! Never again, and we will forever tell the story of no chicken or steak, after a long day.

Not sure how the food taste because I stood there for 30 minutes and did not get service and only 1 person in line, I recommend the one on Pine Island road I will never come back to this will polio chicken again

It is always busy here so long wait for drive through. Limited menu. They removed many things from menu

I bumped this up to 2 stars because I love the food. We've always had a good experience here, until this time. The lady who took our order through the drive through was extremely rude. I've never had anyone talk to me like that before. She made several rude comments as I ordered. I will still go back and hope that she's not working there anymore. She doesn't need to be in the service industry.

Don’t go there wait too long so slow!
Only 3 people wait in line but it’s take 30min to get meal! And drive thru not even busy!

The food is good and so is the value but the drive thru takes so long. Over 20 minites from start to food.

Best drive-through fast food in the area, hands down. It's healthy, delicious, affordable, convenient, and the service is excellent. I get takeout to bring home from here about 3-4 times a month on average. Only had a minor mixup with my order one time and they were so nice about fixing it that I was blown away and finally decided to write a review. Great chain with wonderful staffing at this location!

As always the food is totally delicious. The restaurant is fairly clean. They just need to work on the staff to be courteous and friendly. They are absolutely the most unfriendly people I have encountered. A little smile goes a long way. A simple Hi how are you, pass by the tables and pick up once in a while, just simple courtesy.
It could be an amazing place if they give it a little try.

Waited a good 15+ minutes at the drive thru order window. It was around 2pm. Nobody even said "we'll be with you in a minute". Nothing. It was if we didn't exist. The drive thru wasn't even busy. The car in front of us had been waiting at the pickup window the whole time we were at the order screen. Will NOT be back here!

Food is delicious. Service is slow during peak dinner hour. Always feels like they're unprepared for the rush.

Bites were over cooked, fried sandwich had the breading falling off.first time trying the food and its the last time

Chicken was ok, but side was horrible. I'd ordered yellow rice with vegetables. Rice was all clumped together and vegetables were not cooked enough.

Had a proceedure today was told to eat light. I love spanish seasoned food so ordered POLLO TROPICALS FABULOUS CHICKEN SOUP. IT REVIVED ME. My daugher had the new Chipotele Chicken Sandwich, she said it was DELISH. For her hubby its black beans n rice with Savoury yummy moist baked Half Chicken. Choice of many
Sauce Dips. Garlic with fried or boiled
Yuca. Fried Sweet bananas. Deserts.
Pork. Wings. Much more availabe. TRY

The chicken are very small for the price you are being charge and the beans don't have​ any flavor. I had the chicken, black beans, white rice. It would have been better to go to a Cuban restaurant you get more food for a better price and the food has flavor. The service is not that great either...

Supposedly they close at 11pm but I have been to the drive through at 10: 30 or 10: 45 and they’ve refused to take my order because they’re “closing soon” and “breaking down the kitchen” on numerous occasions.

Expo lady was continuously touching her face and hair with gloves on. She readjusted her clothes several times and closed her pants zipper with the same gloves on, while serving food! Her co-worker stood behind her watching her as she rolled her eyes at the co-workers behavior! The manager was in the kitchen observing everything. I will not be back to this location!
