Publix Super Market at The Riverland Center, Fort Lauderdale FL

Convenient to where I stay but you have to choose your time to shop there - cannot be in a hurry and parking sucks.

Today I went in and asked to speak with the Supervisor of the Bakery Department. I had a picture of a cake that I wanted to be made. When he came out and while looking at the picture some lady working behind the counter started hollering "We dont do no cake if it's not in the book". I looked over at the Supervisor and he just shook his head no without saying a single word. I said Thank you and I left. I went over to the Publix in Las Olas and My God were they Soo Helpful! I was able to get exactly what I wanted into a single layer cake! You guys need to be retrained! You are freakin Robots walking with no creativity working in a bakery department! I Am highly disappointed as to I shop here every single week! I will be taking more of My business over to Las Olas from now on! Thanks!

It's a smaller Publix compared to the others in the area. Staff is very friendly and always acknowledge guests and ask if they need assistance.

Many very nice employees BUT efficient customer service is NOT a priority. Very limited, ethnically driven product selection

This is a teeny tiny Publixs in a very busy area. Expect to always wait for the cashier, very small sub area I don't ever attempt to walk by the subs and bakery. Lock your car door.

I ordered a mini cake at this location for my son's birthday because it's only two of us so we dont need a huge cake. I asked for a spongebob design and just told them to do the best they could and they gave me the toys to put on top of the mini cake. I picked up the cake today and it was 100% wrong. I also specifically asked them to not put any writing on top of the cake because that's why I have the toys and that I will put the toys on top of the cake myself. When I picked up the cake, they told me they didn't do birthday designs for mini cakes. Why wasn't that told to me during the order and the woman who took my order lied to say she told me that they didn't do designs for mini cakes which was a lie. I asked for the staff to tell her to come to me and tell me that she said that. I guess she couldnt lie to me in my face. All the women were ruid and didn't want to fix the cake the way it should have been done but I took it the best way the could fix it which was a plain white whipped cake. I always go to publix and get a mini cake designed and I have always been satisfied but this location let me down. I trusted the woman who took my order to communicate with the staff on how I wanted the cake to be done. I didn't understand how I showed her pictures of previous birthday mini designed cakes from other publix locations to help show her how I needed the cake to be and they still get it wrong. I am aware that the cake was small and they couldn't put the entire design on the cake. I only asked them to do their best with making it look like a Sponge Bob cake and they didn't try at all. The cake looked horrible horrible horrible but I thank the young lady who fixed it a small bit even though she had the attitude that showed poor customer service and none of them really wanted to fix it and there were 4 ladies including the one who took my order. I hope they will do better and if they can't put their brain together just to do a simple design for an itty bitty mini cake, then what can they do. Please speak with Bakery and tell them to do better.

Very good store to buy your groceries good customers services fresh fruits and vegetables everyone nice

A relatively small Publix that could have more parking and produce selections but the associates are really friendly and I have yet to have a bad experience.

We (Me & Mine) are just loco for this neighborhood "close by" Publix. And because my neighborhood is beautifully painted with a delightful mix of Caribbean & South American people as well as as sprinklings of native Floridians and Europeans as well as other people; this Publix offers a wonderful wide variety of different things to satisfy EVERYONE! Of course my family goes crazy for the rotisserie chicken, and me well. It's always the Bakery
