I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible. My fiance and I lived here for 2 years and I have to say it is the worst apartment complex we have been at. No one answered the phones when there were issues to the point that I called the office, put my phone in my pocket and walked in and watched them sit there and ignore my call. They broke a window in my apartment when re doing the roof and didn't inform me they just fixed it and left broken glass in the apartment which wasn't discovered until my dog stepped on it. When it came time to resign they tried increasing my rent by $200 a month, for what? Claiming they are "renovating". All they did was make cosmetic changes to the outside in the form of new roofs, fresh paint and some new outside lights and trees to make them more appealing. Don't fall for the scam, if you do end up renting here make sure you are patient and willing to do every repair and solve every issue on your own unless you want it done poorly or not done at all. By far the worst complex ever I am so glad my lease is up!

I toured the complex and was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm of the staff. I didn't feel rushed in the tour and all of our questions were appropriately answered. I looked at units near the lake and loved the screened in patio. Lovely view. The upgrades seemed nice and loved the fact that a washer/dryer was available. Although our relocation plans changed, I feel like we would have really enjoyed living there.

I’ve been living at Radius Palms for about six months now and I’m very happy here it’s a great location and I’m looking to upgrade and stay a while. Just got off the phone with Tyler at the leasing office who was incredibly helpful, kind and patient he answered all my questions I had about wanting a newer apartment.

I have lived here for about two years. The garbage pickup is a flipping joke! If there’s more than one bag out or over 20 pounds they simply won’t take it. And if you don’t take it yourself you get fined and we have.
But wait there’s more. My neighbor across the hall literally had a huge wooden dresser, a grill, AND a glass coffee table out front of both of our apartments for OVER A MONTH! I can’t even make it up. I had friends come over and say “ why is this stuff still here? ” It’s embarrassing. But I’ll get fined if I have more than one bag out side or my patio isn’t limited to just patio furniture we get fined. See a pattern.
When we first moved in, under past management, it was a much better experience.
I could honestly keep going, but I don’t want to waste any more of my time on this.
ALSO:
It is currently 7: 12am on a Wednesday. This is the time they think is best to remove all appliances and cabinets to the apartment to the right of me. This is so ridiculous and unnecessary. The leasing office doesn’t open until 9, but they think tearing down the apartment next to me is a great time to start even before the sun comes up. I will be leaving when my lease is up.

Update. My husband got up and went next door, he knocked and a maintenance guy came to the door, my husband explained we were trying to sleep next door, (he doesn’t get off work until 2 am.) And the maintence guy just goes “ oh” like he had no clue how loud they were being. He’s like “ I can see that” LIKE ARE YOU FORREAL

Stay far away

Update 1/16/2018
I woke up at 8 am to the same noises from the opposite side of my kitchen. Banging on the walls with hammers, drilling into them, sawing something. Can’t get ahold of anyone until 9 am. I will be moving when our lease is up in April.

I moved here two years ago and it was a good complex. They changed their management last year, and then it’s getting worse. They turned off the auto pay for the rent. So people constantly forget to pay the rent and they get their late fee. So if you like to use auto pay don’t move here. What kind of place don’t have auto pay right now? You name it. Oh right! This complex.
Update: The late fee is gonna be 100 dollars when I signed the new lease. Why am I signing up the new lease? Because I will only stay in this neighborhood maybe this city for another 9 months. Don’t wanna move twice within a year.

Their printer never works! Sometimes it’s this problem and sometimes it’s that problem. Always has a problem. So prepare your own printer if you want to move here too! And they have meetings in the printer room.:) I guess the printer is just for nothing.

And after this new management they increased the rent A LOT! But they just repainted the appointment. Yeah good move!

I have lived here for four years, and though this feels like home, I cannot stay here any longer.

The new management team is terrible and do not care about the residents. They have made nothing but cosmetic changes to the complex and charged us all hundreds of dollars more per month because they planted a few trees and painted the side of the building.

Valet trash is something we are all charged an overpriced amount for, but have to keep the can inside our own apartment or we get fined. There is only a small window of time that we can set it outside, but they do not pick up the trash on time anyway.

MAINTANECE IS HORRIBLE! I had a hole in my ceiling above my head, leaking water in my bedroom, for months! I called and called, they sent people to "fix" it, but all they did was spray the white popcorn spray over the hole, time and time again, and it still leaked. I do not know how many work orders I have had to put in for this one issue. One guy came in, saw water leaking, laughed, went and got a rusty baking pan (A BAKING PAN!), and set in on my floor, leaving stains that I am sure will no doubt be taken out of my security deposit. It's been, I don't know, 6 months, and though the leaking has now stopped, my ceiling still looks unstable from water damage and my fall in. In four years of living here, the maintenance has only gotten worse. This is just one example.

The new management team decided to stop accepting packages for residents, prompting the delivery man to leave my package on my doorstep while I was out of town where it was stolen. I was out $150 and went to the office, told the staff, and they said "yeah, we don't accept packages anymore". No follow up, no resolution, no attempt to look into this or make it right was made. I couldn't even have my own mail delivered to my apartment because i couldn't trust I would receive it. Now there's a new locker system where they keep your package for you, but if you don't pick it up in time you get charged per day that you must pay to receive your package. Ridiculous.

I don't get home from work until after the office is closed. That was never a problem because there was a mail drop box to leave the rent when it was due. Not anymore. First they removed the box, so I had to take time off of work to leave early to pay my rent. Next, they stopped accepting checks altogether. I will now only be able to pay online, where I will now be charged $30 in extra fees to pay by card.

This place is seriously a joke and they have showed by their actions that all they care about is money, at the expense of us residents. I hate moving, but there is no way I can renew my lease with this place. Please stay away.

P. S. - Muhammad is the man and the only one of the staff that knows what he's doing. Keep up the good work.

STAY FAR AWAY. I had high hopes for this place, but they were all destroyed by the new management. The manner in which they treat their residents is absolutely disgraceful. Requests and emails are consistently ignored and problems are left unsolved. These problems include an ice maker that was not fixed after multiple requests, which lead to water leakage and mold growth on the interior of the cabinets and warped floor boards. Several requests were put in to address these issues, but they still persist with no resolution. The valet trash is a pointless expense considering the limited time we can place the trash outside to avoid a fine. I just walk my trash to the dumpster so I am paying for nothing. Since they no longer accept checks for rent I am forced to pay ridiculous fees for online payment, and this month because they failed to put in the utilities on time I was forced to pay the service fees twice. All in all the new management just plastered on some shoddy little cosmetic changes, hiked up the prices, and completely ignored the well-being of their residents.

Lack of response from management on mold growth. I submitted 2 requests on what should of been a very simple fix. When i originally moved in, the ice maker not working at all. No worries right? I thought i'll submit a maintenance order. A worker came out 2 times to touch it/fiddle with it but did not fix the issue. Called him back again- he actually moved the fridge this time to see what the problem was, causing the hoses connected to the fridge to leak. I didn't realize until the following day when i came home from work. There was water damage and the floors were soaked. I went to describe the situation to one of the new managers (Rachel), she said to email her. I emailed her all the information, including the pictures. They have yet to get back to me. This was on 12/11/2017. And probably right after i post this review, some one will respond with something right along the line of "Sorry to hear you feel like that, "blah blah" this place takes pride in our community and our residents" "yadda yadda blah blah"". But i guess if they did, they would have already fixed it, right?
