The Staff at Roadmaster Jacksonville. FL. Went above and Beyond to meet my needs. They never made me feel uncomfortable or stupid for asking questions. I could ask three or four times if needed. The Staff was committed to me and making me a strong and safe driver. I am happy I invested in myself and went to Roadmaster. Stan and Troy I want to TY. 5 star service if you want a CDL.

I chose Roadmaster after doing pretty extensive research for local schools and other national carrier owned programs. I attended the school full time around 10 hours a day. I started with zero experience and no permits. I had my Class A CDL IN MY HANDS in less than 1 month from starting and multiple job offers waiting for me. I live in Jacksonville where the school is located so I didn't have to deal with the hotel, which by the way seems to be chosen for proximity to the school as you can literally walk right to the campus in 5 minutes. THIS PROCESS IS NOT EASY! It will be very intimidating learning the operation of these tractor trailers, but consider this. These are empty trailers, in a controlled environment, with instructors and support around you. These instructors WANT YOU TO SUCCEED and pass the exam, it's literally their job (which I assume they receive bonuses for your completion, like most programs). Some people complained about not having enough time to complete a maneuver, but they are open literally every day! I didn't need to go in on weekends, but I could have if I needed to. You'll get out of this EVERYTHING you put into it. If you think it'll be super easy, you'll fail. If you are focused on how nice the hotel is or isn't, and not studying for tests, you'll fail. If you're constantly late, you'll fail. If you are having a harder time understanding or completing a maneuver or test, and take it out on an instructor or the school, rather than being an adult and trying to focus, you'll fail. I think there were around 20 in my class when we started, as well as all the people left over from the previous class that needed more training. We all had completed and had jobs in less than 6 weeks, and the few classmates I kept in touch with all remain with the jobs they took. 1 now owner operator and 3 company drivers. I made over 60k my first year as a company driver, and choosing Roadmaster was one of the best career moves I ever made. They are "preferred" school which if you've looked at driving jobs for new drivers, they require more experience if you haven't attended a preferred training program like this. I liked rotating between multiple instructors because you got a different perspective from each one, way different sometimes. I'm sure there are other programs with similar results, but I had zero issues and would recommend this school to anyone wanting to get their CDL.

Very knowledgeable instructors. They will go above and beyond to make sure you learn what is necessary to become a truck driver. I will recommend this school to anyone.
