We loved the atmosphere, the pool and spa. The place needs updating but I understand it’s HUGE and I can look past that. The price meets the value.

Where I do see improvement is in the staff friendliness. Spa friendliness great but everywhere else they seem on edge and overworked or understaffed. Under staffed for sure. I blame this on top management.

Someone at too needs to implement better procedures of tracking how package vacations are tracked. They have an archaic system where they give you cards each day to use for breakfast and dinner. Also a wrist band (paper) you are to use for “complimentary drink of the day” your entire stay and can not take off. Insect to front desk 2nd day and was met with resistance to give me another. I hate wearing any jewelry on my body when I sleep so I took it off. Thank God I found it because manager said she would not give me another unless I had it LS one. NO one explained this to us upon check in. Also, we left breakfast and dinner cards at table 1st day because we thought we had to and also got resistance on giving us new cards for new day.

Would I go back? Yes I would because I had a great weekend with a great friend and I know now that you have to miss the of whomever you are dealing with at front desk but you shouldn’t have to. Also, don’t go starving to any meal because it will take a LONG time to even get water. I know all this so I will adjust.

It’s just sad that we live in such a great place, Tampa Bay aka “Champa Bay” and we can’t have a spa and resort that won’t level up to what we should be.

Do NOT recommend the hotel. We stayed 6 days 5 nights and every single day we have had to call the front desk. The refrigerator broke, the room was filthy, there was rust on the door hinges and the staff were rude and argumentative. The spa is wonderful but the hotel needs to get their act together. Worst experience ever at a hotel.

We spent 3 hours on the patio in bathrobes only while maintenance fixed the entry door. Later the same night the patio door handle came off when trying to close the door causing me to fall backwards. The smoke detector was flashing red and green and the sprinklers have fuzz and cobwebs on them. Not something you should see if they really are cleaning the room. Housekeeping knocked on our door asking if we were finished 2 hours before check out time. I told her no then she asked me how long we would be. Then there is the housekeeper than left their cleaning sponge on the tub the day before.absolutely disgusting!

Sadly this was an upgraded room by the hotel for screwing up the room before we got there. I'd hate to see a regular room. Each day asked for the GM and each day he was conveniently in meetings. I told them I took pictures and the Assistant Manager said she already knew about the issues. After specifically asking not to speak with Assistant Manager. Go for the spa in the basement but stay at another hotel.

Extremely service oriented staff striving to make your experience one to really remember. Please do yourself the favor of enjoying their restaurant for dinner, as it is undeniably the gem of this otherwise fading and slightly dated crown.

I only walked through some of lobbies and hallways as our party was by the pool and bar area. I happened to notice that alot of the floor tiles were broken and could use to be replaced. It looked a little rundown in areas that could be updated. But the building was nice and outdoor band was great. Bar could have used more help as they were way behind making drinks.

I only went for the Sunday Brunch. The food and service were good. They felt the need to have a very loud saxophonist playing during brunch, which I felt was too loud and more of a distraction than background music ought to be. Quite pleasant brunch all things considered.

Hotel is in a great location, safety harbor is a very nice town. The resort it self is another story. Most of the rooms are very very outdated. The spa was very disappointing as 1 hot tub was so dirty I wouldn't let my worst friend in it. The second hot tub only half the Jets worked. 2 interior pools also had grimy tiles. The pool with tiki bar we're nicer as they had construction work fixing issues. The best part was the restaurants have good food. Would I stay again, maybe if I checked the room first and didn't want to use the spa. Elevator in Palm pavilion has an expired license. Not inspected in over a year putting customer safety at risk. Very disappointed with my stay and management didn't care much as I'm sure they hear the same complaint's all the time.

Elevator out. Only one in building. Was Stuck on 5 th floor no way in and out except stairs for 2 days. Very disappointed. Out door pool off limits to swimming in am - laps because of a morning exercise class. Not on activities list. Very Rude instructor. The Spa is beautiful spa staff great. Not a great experience overall. Will not be coming back

It's a great place for a staycation. We enjoyed ourselves, massages, dinner, indoor pool, drinks, nice big room & a balcony to enjoy the water in the evenings.

We were there for a wedding. Grounds were lovely and staff were very helpful. I told my S. O. I would love to come back for a weekend. We discussed coming for brunch until we found out it's $30. I don't eat $30 worth of breakfast in a month.

Pros: everything you need is here, so you don't have to leave if you don't want to. My massage therapist was great and he knew his stuff. I had a shoulder issue that was pretty painful, and he helped me with my pain level and range of motion. The coffee at breakfast was AMAZING! The buffet had plenty of options, and an omelette bar. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Cons: slightly confusing layout. The room we reserved was a handicapped room, which had a handicapped shower. No problems with that at all, until we started taking showers. The entire bathroom floor got flooded because whoever built the shower had the shower slant on a upward angle, which had the shower water flood away from the drain. Maybe add a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor?

Bathroom issue aside, I can't wait to go back!

My stay was decent. It is fairly nice, but old. Some things need to be renovated. It's hard to figure out here things are, and he to get to them. It seems that it was built on to a couple of times, so it is kinda like a maze. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Pool too crowded. No chairs or towels available because of locals memberships. Children not allowed at indoor pool was a negative for us because of the outdoor pool being overcrowded and later the weather. We understand not being allowed in spa, but pool is different. With adult supervision it should be allowed. We chose this resort based on the indoor pools weather was going to be an issue.

This is a five star spa with rentable bikes. The spa service offered are numerous and unique. The people are very kind and the receptionist was very knowledgeable of the area and willing to help.

Not very pleased with this "resort". The halls were humid, and smelled like mildew and urine. The room was just "okay". Was put in a handicapped accessible room. Nothing wrong with that, except that it was on the 5th floor, and as far away from the lobby as you could get. For the price paid per night, I definitely would not recommend people stay here. The only real redeeming factor was the breakfast buffet was good. All you can eat for $14, with omelet station, and all the breakfast fixings.

Tried to charge one of our artist For a 2 night stay when he was only staying one night and his accommodations were completely dirty. The bed sheets and the towels were dirty. The whole room looked like it was falling apart structurally. My artist had to call and get a refund for what they overcharged him and they did not treat him well after they messed Messed up and not only tried to double book and double charge my artist but to also leave his room smelling like other men's armpits and dirty sheets.
