Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Animal Services

The staff and volunteers were extremely friendly and helpful. A volunteer helped us meet individual dogs in a covered turf area with plenty of toys. We met and adopted a beautiful pit mix who had obviously been cared for very well while at the shelter. Two weeks later volunteers followed up to check on everyone.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Animal Services.

This office would rather have animals living in cages, rather than a loving home, most of the office staff have zero personality, they hang up the phone on people, the supervisors make decisions without even calling or asking questions to at least base their decisions on facts. Almost every person we have dealt with at this office should be fired.
