Sears Outlet / American Freight - Appliance, Furniture, Mattress, Clearwater FL

Whaaaat? ! So surprised to find this gem of a store in Clearwater. The manager James and guy ringing our oven was very helpful in deciding on a huge purchase for our family (double wall oven). We got a great deal. It was worth the drive! We were surprised to find general sears stuff (grills, lawn mowers, mattresses, furniture, sheets, pots and pans). Don’t think about it.just go in.you’ll be surprised like we were.

Alan was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He exhibited patience as we navigated through Sears' website searching for my appliances. We were very pleased with our purchase and service! Be sure to ask for him.

All i can say about this store is " Incredible Service " Thank you Nick and James for restoring my faith in good old fashion customer service.

This was my first time at this store and the level of service i got from the sales team here is something that is truly missing at other stores, just good old fashion great customer service.

I have made purchases at a Sears Outlet in the past, but this was my first visit to this location. I came in just to look, found exactly what I needed. Made my purchase of a Maytag HE topload washer.

Our refrigerator broke down during a busy weekend. We ran to the Sears outlet in hopes of a deal. Boy did we find it! Half the price of new ones in other big box stores! We were greeted upon entering and shown some examples of what we were looking for. Then we were left to decide. There were lots of different styles and brands to choose from, more again than big box stores. We received a great deal and they could deliver within the week (the hardware store we checked said a month!) Will definitely be back! Thank you!

If these are there outlet prices, then it's no wonder they're on the verge of going out of business.

Was in the market for a new washer and dryer and a buddy told me about this store and i'm glad he did. Great selection for a scratch and dent store with great prices and their staff was fantastic.

Went in needing a washing machine and didn't want to spend big bucks. The woman that assisted us was very nice and was able to show us something that was right up our ally. I opted to pick it up, I think $100 for delivery is outrageous, but if you have no choice at least they offer it. A couple of dents that we will never see got me a $1200 machine for $800.

My experience wasn't pleasant. Wanted to buy (cash but no flexibility cost him a sale.) Donations given freely. NOT DEMANDED. Yes to my church. Charitable Organizations. Not to a retailer.

Again after leaving the other Sears, cuz I need a refrigerator. I come upon another worst experience of customer service. I use my Sears card with a publicly advertise 5% off. I was simply told I do not qualify. Ask what does that mean? I don't know. You will have to call the manager. Call hey quarters, they hang up on you. Oh well you will not make any interest on me. Again like a horror story. They the blank away. I'm giving them a one-star. Because there's no lesser reward to give them. No they do not care about you.

They have a fairly good sized store and decent selection. I am not sure the amount of discount is equivalent to the amount of damage on some of the units. The sales staff seems a bit surly at times which can be a bit if a turn off. Additionally most of the small goods items they have around the store (tools, headphones, housewares, etc) didn't seem to have much of a discount at all.

Came in to the store and before shopping asked to use the restroom. Sales associate Alan said they don’t have public restrooms. I went back out to the car to get my mother who was the one looking to buy a washer. When we went in she again asked Alan about a restroom. He said that they don’t allow customers to use the restroom. She said really that doesn’t seem right he proceeded to tell her that because of a hotel near by and the drug use the don’t allow people to use the restroom but that if he had known I was with her I would have been allowed. I guess due to the fact that I have some tattoos he assumes I’m a drug user. This discrimination based appearance needs to stop. He was very rude and had attitude the whole time we spoke with him. I would never shop at any sears again because they seem to base their customer service based on your appearance.

If you do go there please don’t let Alan be your sales associate. There was another young man that was complaining of how rude Alan was also.
DONT shop there if you don’t want to be JUDGED based on appearance.

James and Alan was terrific and had me laughing from the time I stepped in their store till the time I left. I wish more stores could have staff like this. Great job Guys!

Wow this store has changed so much over the years. Clean, organized and the staff is so willing to help answer any questions that you may have. I will be coming back.

The sales experience was okay but they sub contract for shipping and long story short after they reschuduled delivery time they show up and couldnt get it to fit and banged it more than it was and then gave up. No effort and waste of time since we sent it back after all the extra damage.
