Seminole County Tax Collector- Casselberry Office

When I first got here I was told only ten people were ahead of me approximately one hour, well I been here for 3 hours going on now and have went up twice the line of my number have not been called in over an hour and they tell me they went to lunch, why would the send everyone in that line to lunch at the same time smh bad service.

Tellers are more interested in setting up plans after work than servicing individual accounts, and yes I have it on video. Sat from 8: 53am til whenever they decided to help. Hands down the worst part of Seminole county.

Given a run around about my insurance because they didnt give me clear instructions even my agent asked outloud why they are giving me a hard time while on speaker and then the employee working with us told me to rudely to turn off the phone rudely. Spent 5 hours.

Moving to Florida has been a nightmare only because I have to deal with this office. It's always super crowded and they aren't helpful or friendly what-so-ever. We went Wednesday to register 1 car (with an appointment for registration) and then came back to register the other car today (with the same type of appointment) and was told they could not help us because we made the wrong type of appointment (it was supposed to be a title transaction not a registration appointment). In my opinion the check in guy should be double checking all of that so that people aren't standing around waiting for nothing. The way this office is run makes ZERO sense.

In May of this year I purchased a new vehicle and when the registration was due for renewal I noticed that the car was registered by the dealer as 'red' when in fact it is 'grey'. I anticipated some difficulty but I called Seminole County and spoke with Trisha who amended the color on the registration and renewed over the phone. Trisha was wonderful, cordial and friendly and it was absolutely painless! Thank you so much, Trisha, you were terrific!

Need to improve availability of road tests. Absolutely no availability for the next 45 days. I called the office to inquire about this issue and was told to try to find another County that will allow testing for Seminole County residents. Really!? I should not have to go to another County to get services that I pay for.

Its a Best place to resolve any problems!

Waited on hold for 20 minutes, phone finally started ringing and they hung up. Calling back again and so far on hold for another 10 minutes.

I asked if I would be able to make a copy of my driver license since I needed an official document proof to get a replacement the front desk said that they did and I queued up in the line for 3 hours just to get told that they don't provide that service!

After being in the place for approximately 3 hours Paula Prevatt was more concern about going home than actually doing her job.

I was in the DMV for a mistake made by the county and David and Paula Prevatt the manager were horribly rude.

Paula Prevatt took up for her team instead of fact finding and providing good customer service bc she was ready to go home! Ignorance and unprofessionalism at its finest!

You reap what you sow! I hope she never has a situation that's dire!

I had to shout out for Mr. CW our driving examiner (I mean for most of us in Avant Healthcare Professionals) for he's been a very patient person and he knows how to calm you down in the midst of a very stressful moment. He helped me finish my driving Test and Pass it with grace and focus! Thank you so much Sir! May God bless you and be healthy!

The place was packed and only 9 of the 14 windows had attendants. Nearly two hours later I was call. Plan to spend some time sitting here, it’s not an in and out process. The attendant was nice & the place was clean and organized but lacked the personal this day I came.

Why can't I retake a driving test on the same damn day? I have to wait another week + pay an extra $20?

Going into the office i was a bit concerned based on the negative reviews i saw posted. I must say that the team at the office was efficient. Each staff member with whom I interacted was very professional. If you book an appointment online you can get through within minutes. Without an appointment, expect a longer wait. Keep up the good work.

Very quick all things considered. In and out with a new ID card in my hand within an hour. They use a highly effective system that unfortunately most don't understand.

While it still is the DMV, a place we all dread, this location is clean, modern and has enough chairs where you don’t feel cramped or uncomfortable. Staff is friendly and usually pretty quick once your number is called.
It’s all about that waiting though.

Had to make multiple visits because apparently they like to see you jump through hoops. Theres always another document they need. The help I recieved was so dismissive and completely lacked empathy. I can't express enough emotions about how ridiculous my experience has been with Florida DMV.

Very clean, quick service, and the people were super nice. They have an audible queue system in both English and Spanish with number displays everywhere. I'm sure this place could get busy but they have have the estimated wait time for each service at the very front so you're fully aware.

Okay so I come from palm beach county and it usually takes hours and. A lot of hassle just to get your plates renewed. This was quick and painless. Nice waiting area too

I'm originally from Miami-Dade county and I just want to say that comparing my experiences with both county's I'd like to say that the folk up here are basically there to screw you over and collect as much money from you as they possibly can. Ive owned 17 cars in the past 3 years. I buy, restore, and collect classic cars. I have always filled out tittle the same exact way and have never had a problem. First time ever transferring a tittle in seminole county and not only do I have to wait around for an hour before they get to me, but when they do get to me is to tell me my tittle is not filled out correctly, and instead of helping out they put they're bug ugly letter on the tittle and now are requiring I get a bonded tittle, or go to court. Worst of all they notated it in the system so I cant even go back to Miami-Dade to get it taken care off. Will not be coming back, and ofc they dont care its not a business. Just thought I'd let everyone know. They're a$$holes here. Next time ill drive the three hours to Miami and do it there.
