25Perhaps I was unfortunate but I ordered their famous “frita” and I was extremely disappointed. The patty was tiny (got lost in the bread), it literally had a dime size squirt of sauce and the plate was mostly overtaken by mountain of half burnt shoestring fries (which tasted like they had been sitting around for a couple of hours.) The table and condiment rack on table were not too clean and disorganized. I don’t think I’ll be going back to Sergio’s anytime soon.
We have been coming to this location for years now. Ever since our was called Latin America back then, now it's chafed madness and owners. And what was one of our favorite places even got better now with the new name and change of owners. This is just great Cuban food.
Prices have gone up, quality and selections of items gone down. Still a decent place for a quick and overall tasty bite in the Gables.
It was my first time not long ago and I loved the fact a Cuban restaurant had many Vegan options. Big ups.
So so Cuban food. Nothing special.
