Shoot Straight Clearwater

I've made several purchases from Shoot straight. Prices are competitive and stock is fair. The sales staff is knowledgeable and helpful no strong arm sales people here, that's a plus for me though I usually know what I'm shopping for.

Overpriced on what they actually have in stock, Visit other stores in the area if your looking for honest pricing.

Staff was nice and friendly. Very helpful and actually made me a great deal on a pistol. I’m from out of state and was in the area on vacation. Purchased a gun and had it shipped back home.that’s when the fiasco started. Was supposed to be shipped out the beginning of the week and wasn’t shipped until mid/end of the week. Called and was told 2 different stories about why shipping was delayed. Was told that holdup was on freight companies end. Found out firearm wasn’t shipped until Thursday evening when I was told it was shipped on Tuesday originally and then old later the same day it shipped Wednesday because of the carrier not showing up on Tuesday. (Honesty would have gone a long way and I feel I was lied to by them just trying to cover their own) According to the tracking number given label wasn’t even made until Thursday and want even picked up until end of day. Next my local gun store was called and notified by shoot straight staff that the firearm was apparently shipped in the incorrect box. So now I have to wait even longer because I won’t have the ability to shoot my firearm until I have all the correct equipment to do so. Again staff was nice, friendly, helpful, and willing to make a sale. The reason for only 3 starts is because of the problems with getting it home. So if buying out of state, buyers beware!

Go shop somewhere where they appreciate your business and engage customers, happily answering question.

Shoot Straight can’t “shoot straight”,

Went today to purchase a few things and waited in line 48 minutes to be told they are closing at 9 and I could come back tommorow after an employee told me I would be helped even past 9 do not shop here reload has better prices and they take care of you at that gun shop this place does not care about there customers they only care about over charging you for poor quality products

Today I brought in my handgun which is in a case to have work done to it by thier gunsmith (I found out they no longer have one) and this younger employee with tattoos on his arm wearing eyeglasses. He said if I need service to stand in the redline. I assumed "service" meant work done to my gun. Nope he assumed because I had a case that I wanted to get in line for the range. I walked back to the counter and waited my turn (by the way these 2 employees never said anything to me, "we'll be with you in a sec or something to that effect") the same tattooed employee finally after 5 mins or more said "I really need you in line". I stated to him that I wanted to see a gunsmith, he said we don't have one, we haven't had one in 3 weeks. Like I was supposed to know that. Just very rude. Oh if anyone from shoot straight is reading this, I was also looking to by a handgun and 3 extra mags and ammo to go with it. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I went to Shoot Straight to purchase my first firearm in November. Gary was the gentleman who approached my husband and I and I’m sure he had no idea what he was getting into when he met us!
I had so many questions, he spent so much time with me, answering all of my questions, never once getting annoyed that I was taking up over two hours of his time. I left that day with a lot more knowledge than I walked in with and the proud new owner of a Glock 19. The day I came to pick it up I went out to the range and the range master helped me again with questions and firing my new firearm. Afterwards Gary assisted me and even remembered me, he helped sign me up for an introduction to handguns course. (Very great class and a great instructor, in case anyone is looking!) A little over a month later I came back and had my class, again, being remembered by the guys in the store and being helped with such knowledge. I cannot say enough at how happy I am with this place and my purchase. I wish I lived closer so I was able to use the range rather than having to go to the one closer to my house. When I decide to purchase more firearms, I will be coming back here. Regardless of who here sells me a new gun, I have complete confidence that they will give me accurate and informed information!

This is the third time I’ve visited the store to purchase a firearm (s) that I have been interested in acquiring. Every single time I’ve been in to this location, not one person has asked if I needed assistance. There were customers that have came in after me and were assisted with no problem. I’m assuming because of my attire that either I look like I’m unable to afford anything or that I don’t qualify to purchase a firearm. Either way I’ll just take my business to Shooters World or another establishment that values my business regardless of how I’m dressed.

Guys all seem to be pretty cool and down to earth. Very helpful showing us around. Have specifically dealt with James on a few occasions with purchases who is always very helpful and knows how to spend my money. Nice range and competitive pricing. Not hounding you on the range to leave if their not busy. Just a fun place to spend an evening.

A big store with a good selection and the best prices around. Andrew worked we me, a nice guy but I have to say that everyone that works there is polite and knowledgeable. They give you your space and don't force their opinion on you. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

I have purchased 3 firearms here. Each time was more enjoyable than the last. The staff always is there to answer questions and make suggestions.

The range is always fun, fair pricing and good service. Will definitely return and I'd recommend shoot straight to anyone wanting to either purchase firearms or use what they have at the range.

They have a large selection and the staff was very friendly. The indoor range was well kept, and the prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have had more time on the range for the price.

Very friendly staff! The gunsmith on sight is a great resource and very knowledgeable. They are more than willing to order supplies they dont have in store. Their target rounds are competitively priced and their range fees are reasonable. They also allow large caliber long guns which is a nice plus. If you're looking for a clean, well lit, and well staffed shop you've found it.

I stopped in to see if they were running the same deals as another shoot straight that was out of the particular gun I wanted and the manager could not have been any ruder towards me. Never stepping foot in this company again.

Disregard the bad reviews. It's Florida, so you're going to get some weird people coming though. I appreciate their diligence in monitoring the range. Clean facility. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Emphasis on safety. A+ Will be sure to return.

Nice place, well staffed and decent selection. Prices are ok, nothing to brag about. Staff are open and friendly, will help pro and amateur alike. Range is clean and orderly, accessible and easy to use.

This place has belittling staff that make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Staff breath down your neck and wait for you to make a mistake so they can “correct” you. The range was hot and not well ventilated. Aside from the actual building and range being nice quality, all other aspects were lacking.

Used to be my favorite spot to bring friends to show off my firearms but couple months ago when I brought 4 friends in to shoot and was denied because the range closed in 45 mins. I bring in customers and buying their ammos supporting them but got rejected cause the guy wanted to go home early or something and told me 45 mins is not enough time to unload my firearms to shoot. I used to go here 3-4 times a week but no more now since because of that.
