Shoot Straight Clearwater

Always a great experience. Safely operated range with competent range officers. I always feel comfortable training here. On the shop side of things, they treat return customers very well, and remember your face and firearms you have purchased. It's hard for me to want to buy new firearms somewhere else when I know that with every purchase I'll help be putting food on the table for these great men and women's families. They hire people that know their stuff and also hire veterans. Proud to call this my go-to range, even if I can't make it as often as I used to.

After reading the negative reviews I was a little concerned about going to Shoot Straight. I must say the service and pricing were excellent. I have no complaints, the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Pricing was $139 less than other local shop.

The staff at the other shop was okay but not quite on the same high level as Shoot Straight and the savings at Shoot Straight was 18%.

Fast and courteous service. You can save a couple dollars elsewhere, but they are reliable and have stood behind their products every time I've been there. If there is a sale you will usually come out ahead of the competition's offerings.

The range is decent. $15 to shoot. Little pricey if you ask me, but that’s in line with what you’d pay elsewhere so it is what it is. Their customer service is horrible though. The employees are rude and indifferent. I bought a ruger 10/22 from them because it was on sale and the best price I’d found at the time. I called the store to see if they had any left, and was informed they did, and asked them to set one aside for me because I’d be by in less than an hour to buy it. When I got there I asked the guy at the counter to speak to the guy I’d talked to on the phone. He turned around without saying one word to me (even a hello when I approached the counter) stepped into another room and grabbed the ruger. He handed it to someone else, and walked away without ever uttering a word or even really making eye contact. I’ll continue to use the range because it’s close, but if something better came along I’d stop going because of that kind of blatant disregard for common courtesy.

Love this place. Great selection, fair prices, and the shooting lanes are clean, roomy and air conditioned. You don't leave feeling like you just worked a shift in a coal mine! Local, convenient, and friendly staff. Thank you!

Indoor Range air quality was absolutely horrible. I strongly recommend you get a 3M 6000 LEAD RESPIRATOR before entering the range. Beautiful gun selection. The staff seemed very nice.

Number one place to get your shooting on. The staff are welcoming, knowledgable and always stress safety first.

Go somewhere else if you want customer service. All the employees ignore you unless they know you. I was in mid conversation to purchase a not-so-cheap optical and another employee hands my guy a gun box and an ID. The guy completely ignored that he was in mid sentence, moved my stuff aside and decided he this other customer was the priority. In mid sentence!

5 star reviews are left by the little Boys who work there. FAKE REVIEWS are abundant.

Overpriced defective ammo, little boys with guns on their hip and a temper towards confrontation as 'range tenders'. Retail on gun prices are a joke, easily 30% markup on the MSRP!

There are plenty retired military / leo who would and could do a better job selling guns and accessories than the boyscout troop they have in there now.

Just don't. Plenty of better quality customer service / product knowledge stores in Pinellas and better ranges to boot.
