35Burger was great, the last 2 times I ate there in the afternoon, around 4 pm, they didn't use the glass stem shake glasses like in their ads and shown on their walls, but instead used a smaller styrofoam cup and the whipped cream barely reached the top of the cup. Much less impressive than the shake in a glass. The burgers are good but I mainly go for the shakes, so not sure if I'll be going back soon. Sometimes they use them and sometimes not, kinda like the lottery.
Your kidding right? The consistently inconsistent restaurant, how they continue to burn the toast on patty melt, and serve cold fries?
The staff was okay. The food.the burger was cold. The shake was alright. The fries were good. After eating I was extremely nauseous. Not N a fan. I was trying something new (1st time eating this food chain).
Never disappointed here.
They changed the burger prep and not as good as old version but still a tasty burger.
Perhaps it's my love of this chain with memories of my youth spent dining at all hours with groups of friends and family, but every visit I find myself rooting for an acceptable experience and usually the experiences just scrapes buy as that. This is a chain that consistently gets about the same number of things right as they get wrong. So they have excellent value and incredibly poor service. They have fairly fresh diner themed interiors and bathrooms that always smell like deeply ingrained sewage treatment facilities (and I'm not talking about an older left behind by a recent patron). They have fantastic menu selections and often times can't seem to pull off a toasted Frisco melt, hot french fries or shakes that are served before you finish your meal. I love how they embrace technology with their app while for years being unable to use any promotions or even order sandwiches without french fries. And in line with the same thought pattern, I love that they've had a free French fry promotion during the pandemic, but you either had to sit in line for over an hour because it was drive through orders only (why not for walk-in orders or phone orders or app orders will never make sense) or the free French fries didn't quite make as much sense if you already had french fries that you're forced to order with your sandwich since you can seem to order a burger only. These are only a few examples of how steak and shake both passes and fails in almost everything that they do. During our last visit we placed an order using the app only to find that they were out of hot dogs after we arrived and the rest of our order was ready, resulting in my Frisco melt being cold as well as all of our french fries, not to mention the frisco melt was barely toasted (that's literally what makes a Frisco melt a Frisco melt) and that we decided to go here because of a hot dog craving. It seems like this is the kind of place that would do wonderfully with working owner operators, but seems to fail fantastically with appropriate management that never seems to be presents nor their presence felt.
My experience with the Regency Steak 'n Shake was pretty good. First of all they have kiosk thats kinda just there so you don't know if there's a cashier or. Since they didn't have a waiter you had to rely on the workers in the back who seem preoccupied with their next order so if something is wrong with your order you have the arduous task of stopping them to have them fix your problem. I will say though that all of the staff was really friendly & helpful once you got their attention. Hey we'll just blame it on covid. Joe1

First they forgot my fries
2nd they added whip cream on my shakes which I didn't want accepted it
3rd found out after leaving shakes were all wrong not only had whip cream neither had malt one was vanilla instead of chocolate and one was also missing butterfinger.
It was pretty good. Don't really like to have to be seated and wait for a waitress for fast food. The burger was okay. The fries were okay. The chili was okay. The cookie was too sweet and I love sweets. I just think it was okay overall. I would have given it 3.5
It took 45 minutes to get my order after using their app to place my order. I would have walked out but I had already paid for it. People were having to stand in line and wait and wait just to pay for their meals. I could not help be hear the employees talking about how the manager was always late for work. It was finally around 5: 30 that the cashier finally showed up for work and started to check people out. Ordering online does not seem to help you get your food any faster. People that showed up 25 minutes after my online order were getting their food faster than me.
The food is consistent and good. No complaints there. Everything is greasy and dirty. Management can't keep wait staff and obviously can't schedule properly because the girl was here by herself and I know how hard that can be. God forbid any of the other staff come get dishes or ring anyone out.
Going through the drive thru is a breeze. The people inside are extremely nice and helpful. They answered any questions I had. I did not have to wait long to get to the window to pay and receive my order. The ladies at the window who took my money and gave me my food were so nice. I wish I knew their names.
They have steak burgers which are thin. Food is good. My only complaint is how busy they are every time I get there. Many times I have to wait for a table to open.
Service is extremely slow no since of urgency at all. Whenever I get my order it is good that is if it ends up being correct the first time. This location needs to step it up.
After many times of being at this particular location I have to admit the food is always delicious flavorful.a bit too flavorful if you ask me but that all depends on who's eating it if that's considered a good thing or a bad thing. For me it's a good thing. Pictures will be available next time.fair warning about the food though, although it is delicious it may come out a bit oily due to everything being made to order with fresh ingredients
I always enjoy the retro diner feel here. Service is usually good and can't beat the prices. My kid loves this place.
The food is usually good but sometimes it comes out burnt or unfairly portioned. Most of the time the service is pretty good as well but some people like so slack up and be lazy.
The wait time is disgustingly long. The milkshakes are amazing if you're willing to wait 30 mins to get one.
A Cajun Burger the burger part was good the top of it was greasy with Cajun pepper on it that part was not good
Good food but the wait is so long even in the drive thru. I guess it at least fresh food for the wait
Went inside on a Sunday after church and it was packed, so service was a bit slow, but their hamburguers are the best, always made to order. Great milkshakes too, but next time drive through is the way to go!
