TacoLu, Baja Mexicana, Jacksonville Beach FL

This place was just amazing. I have a pure Hispanic family that love there Mexican food. And it is our first time in Jacksonville too. We tried other mexican restaurants but it just didn't make the cut. And we went to TacoLu. The first impression is what counts the most and the decoration is amazing. And then came the food. The food was something else. The food was very well cooked and had a very good presentation. We gave this restaurant a 5 because due to being a American owned restaurant, they really put in the passion to make this a unique Mexican restaurant.

The wait was not long. The food wasn't horrible, it was okay. The outside seating is disappointing. There were so many dogs and dog hair floating in the air. I probably won't eat here again.

TacoLu was a fantastic experience! The tacos were amazing and the staff was super helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Wow my tacos were great. I have 4 stars because I like my food hot and my tacos were room temperature. Taste and service was great

I've been wanting to try the highly rated TacoLu's for awhile now so the Hubbs & I decided to try it on "Date Night. " For starters definitely get on the waitlist BEFORE you go or you'll have a hour or so wait. We didn't mind though because we wanted to try it. The restaurant itself is quant & decorated so nice inside & out. It's a whole vibe. They have indoor & outdoor seating. The food was ok. It wasn't bad at all but I guess we expected authentic Mexican food. I didn't order any Tequila but they have a nice selection. I ordered a mixed drink that was good.

Local favorite! We've been visiting for years and they never seem to disappoint. My favorite are the seafood tacos but let me not forget to mention the mixed drinks are hands down a great companion to your dinner.

The food is amazing! I had a blacken Diver scallop taco and a sushi grade raw Ahi Tuna taco! They were both delicious! The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The food is outstanding. Our waiter was really nice and quick. The Sopapillas was the best we have ever had! The guacamole dip was also absolutely wonderful. The chips were really fresh and crunchy and the salsa was just right.

Good tacos, good drinks. Service is a bit lacking.maybe that's why there are usually long wait times.

Host removed us from wait list saying we didn't respond.yet they took my cell number and I didn't get a text or a call. Was sitting right outside where several other people were.

Once seated, a fair amount of open tables for 40 min+ wait times.

Food was Tasteless, I ordered the Roja Enchilada which turns out not to be an Enchilada at all. Just Low Quality Pot Roast Meat between two Tortillas Covered in Melted Cheese with a Couple Flakes of Cilantro Drenched in Grease!

Tacos were good, did not try their drinks so no comments. Very simple menu, chips and salsa was one of the best. Sides of charro beans and spinach cilantro rice were almost tasteless or at least my taste buds couldn't recognize any flavor in them. Service was ok.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. It's a 45 min drive from home, but whenever I am in the area, it is a must for me! I love you, Taco Lu!

Very fresh food. I had a cheeseburger taco and a brisket taco and both were delicious. My side of black beans were the best tasting I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was great as well.

This place was awesome! The atmosphere was fun. The decor was great and the food was wonderful. If you're in Jacksonville Beach definitely visit here!

Definitely not an authentic place but I tried the carne asada tacos and the meat was well done although the tortilla was pretty blah and dry

Its a nice place to eat at but if you are looking for something more authentic this is NOT the place for you. I DON'T recommend getting the cheesebuger taco.

This place is great! They have so many kinds of tacos (I had one brisket and one shrimp taco) and they were both delicious. Very cool place too with a bar, restaurant, and a patio area.

This place has amazing queso with chips! The service was on point and their margaritas are the best! Great ambiance and decor. Loved it!

Excellent and the place inside is so nice and unique. Mahi taco was so DELISH. The waiter was so nice and honest. He recommended the mahi taco and the salmon taco. My son and his wife took me here. The place is excellent for any occasion
I didn't take any pictures next time I will that's how good the mahi mahi taco was.

TacoLu is one of the best taco restaurants I have ever been to. The tacos they serve aren't just tacos, they are a delicacy. I eat tacos almost daily and I am not often impressed. This restaurant impressed me. Everything was amazing!

Incredibly knowledgeable staff especially if you appreciate tequila and mezcal. Food is outstanding. Cool vibe.
