TacoLu, Baja Mexicana reviews
39 They know what they are: a touristy Tex-Mex joint.
Their tacos are pretty decent, but their overpriced margaritas and bland, unseasoned chicken leaves a bit to be desired.
Good luck getting a table during dinner unless you have whatever app they use for booking a table.
AMAZING FOOD! And John is AMAZING! Such a sweet waiter! Helped me find what my belly was craving! Street corn was top notch! And the house sangria kept me happy all night!
Wow, boutique Tequila, Mexican craft beer and fantastic food. Great menu more West coast style than the average east coast Americanized norm.
The taco are great. I dislike the bartender. I heard his racist remark. Guess I am not going there again.
FYI, make sure you don’t keep your tabs open there. They will add other people tabs to your if they think you are together.
This place is just ok to me. I have been back twice, but it’s pretty run of the mill. I go back because the atmosphere is fun. The nachos and dip are addictive but the actual tacos are good, but nothing outstanding.
This place was soooo good! Go to the front door to get the beat experience because I was silly and went through the side door! The people are so nice and the atmosphere is to die for. I love all the photo opportunities in and outside the restaurant. The food is so good, they have new seafood options everyday it seems. Always try the streetcorn!
Incredible tacos! Very cool atmosphere! Restaurant has worked hard to establish some signature flavors, and it shows! Great choice for inspired street tacos!
LONG black hair in my sons taco. Waiter brought us a new taco quickly but I expected a manager to come out and apologize and I sure didn't expect to pay for that taco. No discount, no manager, nothing to make it right. My taco was good, street corn was not the best I've had. My daughters quesadilla was tiny. Would not reccomend. Very disappointing!
Excellent Baja Mexican fair gives a feeling of Tijuana in Jax. Recommendations: bannin shrimp tacos!
Very good fresh food and amazing service. We will definitely come back when in the area. The prices are good as well!
Great place to go! Came from out of town and was highly recommended this place. So glad we came by, seriously amazing food and wonderful restaurant vibes! Only feedback I would recommend is for the dessert preparer to shake the churros in sugar for a bit longer so that it’s not just the breading with no sugar. (More authentic this way)
Thanks and will 100% be back!
Solid at best. I know a lot of people who swear by this place but I personally think burrito gallery's food is better but to each his own.
ALWAYS great times and even better food!
Lovr always,
A #1 fan since day 1.on the opposite side of the street
The fish taco is fried makes.it dry not good for me.the enchilada pull beef is not good. Best if it's ground beef.hrimp taco is good.friendly staff
Loved the tacos here. The avocado and the $10 taco were AWESOME! Taste very fresh. The fish taco was okay. Other places at the beach and surrounding areas I feel like have a better fish taco. But overall, I will definitely be back to this spot. YES!
The service was prompt and efficient, despite being rather busy. Our server, Sarah, was attentive and brought us everything we needed before we could ask for it. The salsa and chips were delicious, the tacos were on point, and the ambience was great. Definitely a go-to place if you’re looking for some spectacular service and have a craving for tacos.
Great food! Young and nice service. Love the environment, music and decoration. Remminded me of Roccos Tacos in Fort Lauderdale. They have hard shells for the tacos if wanted (they dont have them on the menu)
Great food great service and very interesting decor.they are always busy and have short wait timed but if you get there before 11: 30am and sit around the bar you should have no wait
