It was the worst experience of my life.
Waiting in a bed in the aisle for 7 hours, to check the cause of my lost vision in the left eye. The nurses were horrible. They left me badly bruised after trying to take blood. 3 times, 3 big bruises.
After 7 hours, with no food or water, they put me on a observation room waiting for the MRI. I was waiting for 24 hours without any communications.nobody told anything about what was taking place. I was waiting for an MRI, knowing it was critical in determining my condition and determining if I had a stroke or not. The nurses told me that I would have to wait for between 24 hours and 2 days to do the test.

I asked the nurses to transfer me to another hospital, if they can’t do the MRI. They couldn’t.

I signed out and I left a horrendous experience.

As a patient family member and a nurse, I did not appreciate the way I was spoken to by a receptionist when inquiring about an emergency room wait time and the passive aggressive “have a great day! ” I sent my mom to AdventHealth Tampa instead. Please consider how it feels to be in someone else’s shoes during hard times; I expected more from TGH.

Unbelievable. I thought I was alone until I read others reviews. I waited for 3 days to get a 40 minute test. Rushed to the ER to wait 2 more days. ER nurses did a nice job though. Was visited by about 10 different nurses throughout my stay, getting told mixed information from each. Was told I would be able to sleep the second night since they kept me awake thinking I was gonna take my test the first night.all to be woken up at 1am to be transferred to wait a full day which the doctor that visited me in the ER said it would be in the morning. Didn’t test until 4pm. Also, doctor was dismissive. I had to “put my foot down” to keep some of the personnel in the room to ask questions. Overall got a dismissive vibe, and was told they were busy.which when I witness talks about which burger and BK they want for 10 minutes tells me different.

Had such a great experience giving birth here at TGH on March 25th, 2021. The nurses were so helpful and answered all of my questions (I had a lot since I am a first time mother) When it came time to get an epidural I requested, my body was shaking in fear and I couldn’t help but break down and cry. The nurse held me through the process and kept me as calm as possible, reassuring me everything will be okay. They checked on me consistently and made me feel more than just another patient. I was in labor for 15 hours but only took 20 minutes for me to push and deliver my baby. Would recommend to expecting mothers.

If I could score them
A 0 star I would my best friend was in there hospital in pain when I called to ask why are they just sitting around while a grown man is cringing in pain, the nurse had the nerves to say to me, “ we aren’t allowing him we tried to talk to the doctor “ hours in pain no release.what type of healthcare workers are you hiring, because I thought health care workers cared

I went to the ER because I had a headache for a week and one of my toes was numb for 3 days. Once there, my headache improved. The nurse saw me and came back to tell me the physician will not see me because my symptoms improved. I paid my $300 co-pay and left. Two months later I get a bill of $1,012.00 for "physician services rendered". The physician did not see me.why am I getting charged? When I spoke with the customer services representative, she said that the nurse qualifies as physician services rendered because she was working under the physician's order.they did no test, they just asked me some questions.which were the same from the people at the front desk medical assistants. No tests were performed, NOTHING. Physician's name is Julian Beau MD.terrible.

This is the worst ER I've even been to. And unfortunately I've been to many due to sports and hobby injury. This ER borders on sadistic neglect -my gallbladder erupted last night and they let me scream unseen for 4-5 hours in the hallway -until I went elsewhere still in incredible pain. No one even checked on me during the entire embarrassing episode after the triage temp and blood pressure check, It was by for the worst pain experience of my life and they did nothing to mitigate it. As it turns out a simple Advil would have helped greatly in the moment after seeing doctors today.

I don't know if they thought I was faking it (which really pisses me off if so) or if Covid has them too busy, -maybe a year of pandemic has them completely bankrupt on empathy for people -I know it's not an easy job, but in my very worst moment of my life -they literally did nothing.

The covid vaccination process is extremely well organized, efficient, quick and the staff are very friendly despite obviously being VERY busy.
Great job TGHG. You should be proud of the process you developed and dedication of your staff.

The worst experiences ever! I had my baby there two months ago and their service is so not good! They let me wait for the epidural more than 3 hours in pain of delivering! I don't reccomend it to anyone.

I was discharged with little to no change nor asking about my condition. I went for chest pain and shortness of breath. NOT a crybaby nor inexperienced. I've had open heart surgery! Nor just looking to pass the day!

II had to take my ittle girl to the hospital because of a high fever. The attention and the care that they gave her was incredible. I am so thankful for their attentiveness to her and to me. Both of the nurses that attended us, Jamie and Ruth, were very caring and very patient with my little girl.

Please report this place to the Florida medical board and board of ethics. This hospital only cares about money. They let patients go without proper treatment. This is absurd thi place needs to be shut down. I will also be contacting the city to make a complaint.

I’d give the ER 0 if that were a choice. Checked in at 7 pm. Exrays within 30 minutes but now going on 4+ hrs to speak to any medical professional. I had a known fracture. Swelling and decreasing mobility so you would think time would matter. Clearly not. When I asked how long was told we go in order. Then told I was next. (After 11pm on a Monday night). So far 3 have been called since I was “next”. Lies and freezing waiting room with disgusting bathroom.

I came to the emergency room right after work fearing I've had a heart attack and have been sitting here 7 hours and counting. This is beyond ridiculous. This is my first and last time believing the hype from the repetitive commercials. Ready to go home, but don't want to die in my sleep

It's a good hospital when you arw admitted but when it comes to the ER not so much. This is the second bad experience we had coming to the ER. The triage nurse didn't ask much and told us to wait in the waiting room for someone to put an IV. I have been sitting in the waiting room for an hour for someone just to put an IV in my mother who is in pain. If i would had known it was going to be like this i would have taken her to SJ north.
