Tampa General Hospital

The hospital is showing way to many commercials on tv and i believe the state need to remove tha sales tax that is going to the hospital being commercials do cost alot. The sales tax was for people with out Insurance but i believe it's going elsewhere. When i see alot of commercials of something i find it's not any good. I see they are competing with baycare hospital.

If you're having a dire emergency go to another ER. My aunt waited 2-3 hours to be seen with clear symptoms of having a stroke.

Lied to us nonstop, I will not ever come back to this hospital. I felt like I was dealing with telemarketers. It was more than one person too, staff is corrupt.

Security name Dave Slatten was very rude to my grandmother and I. He was exiting out of the room and tried to rush my sick grandmother out of the room telling her to walk faster. When I asked him what his name was he told me his name and he yelled “get it right! ”

The doctor that did my husbands surgery was very nice and some of te nurses to, my husband got a very bad cut on his hand and he needed a surgery. We got here at 11am and left at 5am they got us in the surgery room at 12 am after 12 hours waiting and they told him to not eat or drink any water

I found the hospital great. But everyone at the help desks are completely worthless. It's like they want to send you to the wrong floor when you know where you need to go. And when you question them on this they get all bent out of shape. So you go where they tell you and of course it's wrong. It is where you knew it was.

Labor and delivery, NICU, postpartum, ALL ARE PHENOMENAL! RECOMMEND laboring here for your next baby. Better than a birth center, I tell you from experience.

I've had my three kids here an would suggest this hospital to anyone without a doubt or second thought. Never had any problems with the birth of my children or The staff. They are incredibly understanding of whatever issue or what your going through. They actually care about the people in there unlike some other hospitals. If I could give a 6-start rating, I definitely do so.

My aunt had brain surgery at this hospital. I was very impressed with their updates during the procedure. They sent text messages and someone came out with an update during surgery. It was such a relief knowing was going on during a 8 hr procedure. The staff was very accommodating. They turned a scary situation to a pleasant experience. Thank you Tampa General.

I was treated like nothing both times I went this hospital for a real emergency. Homeless people go there for BS reasons and instead of making them wait they make people wait no matter how much pain you're in. Do yourself a favor go to Florida hospital they treat you like a human being.

Trying to get through to somebody over the phone is ridiculous long.been on the for 7mins and continuing and have yet spoken to somebody. Mind you i'm calling to speak to my mother who happened to be admitted to this hospital. & i can't even get through to speak to her. Somebody picked up the phone stated my phone was cutting in and out and just hung up right in my face. Now im stuck listening to this crappy intro.

Went there with Neuro issues they were awesome nade sure I was ok. Lovely mannered nurses. Had my own room they specialize in my disease. Awesome as hell hospital.

I had same day surgery on 7/15 and the service/treatment I received from each and every person I encountered was exceptional!

Not proper with timing already 2 hours ago since the procedure needed to be done and hasnt yet! Never coming here again sucks!

Had MRI scheduled a month in advance. They called me to confirm. I called back to confirm and paid in advance 2 hours before the procedure. Drove all the way down there and was told different reasons why they couldn't do the procedure, including that they hadn't been able to contact me. There of plenty of other MRI places that don't treat people like these buffoons.

Been in waiting area for an hour and a half. In extreme pain! 4 patients in front of me and 1 behind me!?
This is the worst hospital in the world. None of the nurses or Drs are doing anything it seems!

Be careful with the parking garage, always use the machine not an actual human, they overcharge! I entered around 8: 45 and left 9: 25pm, which is less than an hour and they still charged me $3.on the receipt it says "parking ticket Nr. 00000 which cant be. So obviously they did not scan my card but just charged me $3. Just something to be aware of.

I was very impressed with the high level of care my wife received on her stay from 8-14-18 thru 8-15-18. Her surgeon Dr. Hoyte, her nurse Kara, and her transportation person Gerald collectively gave my wife Betty Stiffler-Sourbeer excellent care. There was also a multitude of support people that I did not get names; but, they all served up smiles and professional attention for which we are very grateful. We highly recommend Tampa General Hospital.

Remember that TGH is a teaching Hospital most of the people that come to TGH don't have health insurance.
