Tax Collector for Polk County, Lakeland FL

Your website is easy to use and had all the information that I was seeking on it. It took less than 2 minutes to schedule a road test for my teenager.

Called in advance to make sure I had everything needed to register my kayak. Employee on the phone was very helpful. However once I arrived and waited for an hour, the employee I spoke with informed me that I received incorrect information and I would not be able to register my kayak. Lost half a day at work.

This is where I got my ID for the first time. Got my ID 3 days before my 30th birthday. I had to wait a whole lot longer to get mine cause i'm autistic.

Had a reason to double check some info for senior citizens. The lady I spoke with was very helpful and patient. She gets five stars and then some.

They are very organized which allows the process of obtaining services to be very professional.

Says Tax Collector very huge in front so wouldn't know this place is a DMV.that should be fixed for people who are no locals. I will update my review after my permit & licence test.

I would give it 5 stars but the lady in the front playing with the paper clips while talking to customers was pretty rude. Combative tone actually. Once I got back to the specialist Mandy C.everything went well. I was in and out in 11 minutes.

They need to stop selling our personal information to outside unrelated entities!
One more robotic call begging for money, they will not like my returned reaction! Enough with the bullshit!

Was treated VERY rudely over the phone. Apparently the Tax Collectors office is the same number as the DMV? If the employee's at this place want to give me an attitude and hang up the phone on me cause of dealing with DMV callers and apparently false extensions, maybe they should get a phone number change.
