Tax Collector for Polk County, Davenport FL

We went there with all the correct paper work and waited for about an hour only to be told by several people in the office, including a supervisor that we needed the actual title from our lien holder mailed to them and a copy wouldn’t do. We argued for a bit but was eventually rushed out with a paper to fax to our lien holder requesting the title. When we got home we read that paper given to us from the tax collectors office and at the bottom it clearly states that if the actual title is not available then a copy of the title with a letter from the loan company would suffice. WHICH IS WHAT WE FREAKING HAD! Wasted our time not just that day but the next day that we have to take off from work to go to that freaking place. Very very annoyed with the whole lot of them.

BEST DMV ever! What a pleasure and smooth transaction each and every time I have been there. Coming from New York, people here do not know how well organized and efficient this system is here! Fast fast fast is all I can say!

Excellent experience! Excellente customer service! Always is a lot of people but they minimize the waiting to 10-20 minutes. This place is well organized. Very professional!

Usually busy everyday, but they move along pretty quickly. Have been there numerous times and have never waited more than 10 mins.

Title changes and license plate fees in Florida aren't cheap. The clerks are friendly but the waiting lines are confusing.

I went to this place last week and i did everything less then a hour thank you for the great service and i just move from New York to orlando ans i love this place very friendly staff and very helpfull thank you again!

I go here regularly to deal with plates and titles. Every single time, they take care of everything very quick and everyone is very friendly. Very nice looking place too with very clean bathrooms.

I was there in may 15 2017 to register my husband car had to go 2 times first time everything was good lady was very nice, but the sec time lady had an attitude very rude and till this day we haven't received the title to the car. But other then that the rest of the people were nice

Best DMV that I have ever been too. It was very busy, but the line moved quickly. It was very organized and efficiently ran.
