Tenoroc Public Shooting Range, Lakeland FL

Clean and organized outdoor range for both pistols and rifles. They also have options for archery and moving targets. That's why I can't give a 5 start till I check out all the facilities. However the gun range was very safe especially for new time shooters practicing.

I'm a somewhat regular. Good rules, good range masters. Once or twice drove in to find they're having a private event though. Double check if you're going on a weekend.

I left Florida for a year for work, came back and honestly this place has gone really down hill. Not the property itself but the employees. Just go around the corner to saddle creek. Way better

After reading other comments it seems my experience was similar to theirs. The range staff was annoying and bothersome and kept wanting to talk to me about ammo selection. Also tried to tell me how how pack away my gear. Tons of unsolicited advice which had absolutely nothing to do with range safety.

Place is nice, the new check in area is pretty annoying, something that use to take a few minutes is now becoming 10-20 minutes.

It's not even busy. Especially a pain to check in to fish and then get back in line to leave. There's only one lane. Just seems like they took a simple task and complicated it for no gain.

As far as the range, yeah seems there are a few guys that are just miserable with their life.

Great outdoor range, well managed priced right, very safe place to shoot.

I have been coming to this gun range for years and it has never let me down i will always recommend this place but i have noticed lately the faces of the staffing change frequently besides the young lady in the office and she does a tremendous job at what she does and has always been very polite on any run in I have had with her but the new young lady with the longer hair not so much of a pleasing person and not very polite with anyone she always seems to have an attitude and the same way with some of the range masters out on range. Great facility but some new staffing needs a little work.

The staff is very rude will not refund my money I will never go there ever again I would like my refund back

Had a horrible experience with several of the staff members two of them called me a liar have been going there for many years and have no reason to be dishonest about anything! Several of their throwers were not throwing the clay but every third or fourth push of the button I kept track of how many did not throw when I got back to the front desk I was called a liar even though I had several people with me as a witness!

Great range and this was my 1st time here for the 1st Shot Fundamentals course hosted by FWC with my son.

We frequently drive to Tenoroc to go shooting. Its the best outdoor range I know of within 200 miles.

They penalize you for having family groups four of us one both sucks,
Even the range boy didn't understand what management was doing.

I was at Tenoroc on Sunday and saw the range safety person walk off the line and left it unattended for over 10 minutes. This is a reoccurring problem at this range and it has been steadily declining in the last month. It’s new staff has a lack of safety protocols that the FWC needs to look at. I shoot at this outdoor rang weekly with my dad and at this juncture I do not feel it’s safe for me to shoot there due to the fact of the numerous safety violations by the customers and it’s staff.

Great skeet shooting range. 15 stands with numerous traps. Well worth going. Staff super helpful with advice and suggestions.

What is a bigger Improvement that it was a couple years ago.what's the rainfall that we've been having to do still have standing water in some areas but I guess you have to work around it if you enjoy shooting. I just started clay shooting and I think it's great.

I am a new shooter, I came out to zero my scope. The staff and regulars made an average day at the rage an exceptionally fun day. The rage offers several ranges, friendly staff. I would recommend for both expirenced and in experiences sportsmen and woman.

Great place to shoot. Benches need to be separated on rifle Range. When someone moves that is next to you can move your shots

What a great place for shooting, pistol, rifle, shotgun (sporting clays), excellent.friendly staff. 1hr from Orlando. 30min from Disney area.

This place rocks. I’ve been coming here for years and in the last 6 months the sporting clays operation has improved ten fold. Targets are changed frequently and are some of the best I’ve ever shot, with something for everybody every time I go. The clays course is always immaculate and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. A+ keep it up guys!

Huge improvement since the State of Florida resumed running the operation. It was worth the delay to get a great and safe range built.
