Tenoroc Public Shooting Range, Lakeland FL

Great range and staff. 6th star goes to the gorgeous woman that usually has her hair in a braid (younger lady on the pistol side). Chris is a great guy to talk to as well. Happy shooting.

We checked the place out first. Facilities were clean, RSOs seemed nice. We ended up not shooting because the girl up front had such poor customer service. She did not answer any of our questions and seemed generally annoyed at our questions about the policies. We'll come back when she's in a better mood.

I haven't shot here yet, I do plan on it. 10.70 for all day with pistol like, rifle and shotgun ranges. The two people running it seemed very nice.

Great Shooting Range. Great staff too. Ranges are kept in nice condition. Pistol and rifle range are separate. Sporting clays area is vey nice and and good prices for clays. Also offers 5 Stand and Trap. Safe environment at all times. Always improving areas. Prices are great overall.

This place is great for sighting in firearms and basic safety and shooting training. Most people I know that visit an outdoor range for the first time agree that they'd prefer to always use outdoor ranges. You have none of the strong smells, the noise is extremely better, and the natural lighting is great. Their staff is very friendly and helpful and I definitely can't say that about all ranges. We've all see those RSO's that like to scream over nothing, lol. Here if you hear one scream you know it's for really good reason and someone is doing something extremely unsafe. They also sell ammo at competitive prices unlike most ranges that charge around 40% more then normal. Their open Wednesday thru Sunday.

Took my black powder rifle there recently. RSOs and visitors were super friendly & helpful. Overheard marines praising how professional and well managed Tenoroc is, and I agree. I would happily drive 1+ hours to come here and shoot. Safe, reasonable, clean and helpful.

It's a well designed and maintained facility. Range masters are professional, helpful, and extremely safety conscious.

So far my favorite shotgun clay shooting place. The scenery is beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and the stations are awesome. They always change them up to vary the throws and we love it. I have gone there probably about 4 to 5 times now, and its an hour drive for us. Great place to have fun with the family and friends.

What a cool place to shoot Sporting Clays. This was my third trip. It takes me a little over an hour to get there.but totally worth it.
16 stations, light traffic, and clays are cheaper than anywhere else right now.
Don't know anything about the rest of the range (pistols, rifles, etc.) but the Sporting Clay range there is my new favorite.

Nice outdoor range run by the state. Reasonable prices and on site range masters to keep things safe.

Is a perfect place, The instructors know how to do the job. Safety place and good prices. RECOMMENDED

We went there like 2 weeks ago and we always go there like every two weeks. I tell you what, that place is profoundly Immaculate they have a very structured way of running the range almost like military. I was in the service for a long time and I love going there and it's clean professional and I keep on going back. I will give it a five-star because of the people that are there and the people who treat you right and I love that. Thanks guys great job.

Great shooting range. Cheap prices and great range distance options. I purchased a day for the Pistol and Rifle range, which only costs $10 per person. The shotgun clay shooting area is 35 cents per clay. The range instructors are very helpful and will gladly assist you in zeroing your scope. The rifle range has two areas; one side that has targets out to 50 yards, while the other side has targets out to 100 yards.

Friendly staff. Handgun, long gun, and shotgun shooting all in one place. You can buy the most common ammo, shotgun shells, clays, targets and eye and ear protection on site. Very close to fishing​ and archery too. It's outdoor shooting so no air conditioning.

I've been an avid shooter for 50+ years now and Tenoroc is the most enjoyable shooting atmosphere I've ever had the honor to frequent. I moved to Central Florida after my retirement in 2008 and have been enjoying my time there ever since. Friendly, helpful staff and a clean environment are just a couple of the positives this range offers. You'll usually find me on the pistol or rifle ranges most Monday afternoons taking advantage of what is usually a "slower" day. Stop in a say HI. ;)
