The Cloak & Blaster reviews
42It's a ok experience if your close by in location but it is way too crowded and busy and way to expensive. I just feel like you need to find a way to lower your wait time or lower your prices.
The folks behind this place know what geeks want in a gaming pub - games galore, good eats and tasty drinks. Friendly staff and prompt service top the Cloak & Blaster with a great nerdy atmosphere.
Had a first date here. Loved the helpful staff and the thought that went into the nerdy menu items. This place got me laid!
Andi is a fantastic server. Very attentive!
Excellent place to grab a few beers, eat some good food, and push some cardboard around.
Edit: increased prices, decreased portion sizes, added fee to play games.they are just okay now, nothing great.great place, great atmosphere, great selection of games and drinks
Pretty cool, chill place with loads of board games to occupy you while you drink. Large beer menu, but beware that they may be out of more than one when you go to order. Otherwise, a lot of fun.
Great food and beer. Selection of library board and card games is pretty good but you may want to plan to bring some of your own. Does get crowded at times but the staff is great, especially working with large groups.
Every time I come here I've had a somewhat unpleasant experience. Open tables but still a long wait and health code hazards and fire hazards that dont seem legit and dont allow for an outside water to be brought in and a chair to be added to the end of a table.
A great place! I Have been at least a dozen times. Every time i Go the staff is friendly and helpful with the menu and the board games. Never have beaten pandemic though but that more on me and my friends. The food is great and good selection of drinks too.
The cloak and Blaster is one of my favorite local spots! They have great food a great veggie burger and the beer selection is awesome! It's a super fun place to have food and drinks and play games they also have the video game room upstairs and a game library to play board games and card games, I'd say it's one of my favorite bars I've ever been to
Fun place, good food. Thursday nights there is a trivia guy that is *way* too loud, hard to sit through it.
Amazing place for people who love all things geeky. Great drinks, great atmosphere, above the call of duty bar food (which is to say wonderful).
Probably not necessary to charge a dollar to use the board games if you're actually a customer eating and drinking.
Very relaxed environment for gaming and drinking. Food is amazing with options available for vegetarian, vegan and keto.
If you are looking for a place that offers great food, friendly service, geek culture, and social gaming, look no further. We always have a great experience when we visit.
This place is gaming/geek heaven. With board games galore, a dedicated console gaming floor and pop culture inspired menu. One of my favorite places to hang out with friends.
Food and drinks are always great quality. I've never had a bad time here. It's the perfect atmosphere for hanging out with friends, super chill and casual. The servers have always been very friendly as well.
I remember coming out for a trivia night (the place was incredibly packed!) and we saw a planned "bar fight" between two "tavern goers".
Fantastic place. The atmosphere is great, the staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. The food and drinks are excellent, too.
Wow. What an absolutely incredible place.
I could go on and on describing how great the food, drinks, atmosphere, and the package as a whole is, but I'll just simply say I genuinely wish this place was closer to home, and that I will be visiting as often as possible.
Great selection of games and the food is good.
Staff is less than friendly, often feels like they don't want you there.
Many times I have trouble seating parties if the entire group isn't there, really depends on the hostess.
They are also unreasonably strict on seating arrangements, so if your party is larger than the table they give you, good luck getting them to sit at the table.
