The Westin Tampa Waterside

Staff was nice and helpful. Other than that, nothing open in the hotel. Pool was ok. The rooms and hallways are old, need some fixing up. The floor in our room was sticky, my sneakers and the rest of my families kept squeaking because of this. We had a bay view that was nice. No shuttle service to airport, you are on your own. At checkout, I let them know but nothing was done.

I have planned large group events in the past and dealt with many hotels across all my travels. Jessica and Winnelle were the absolute to work with. They were incredibly responsive, understanding, intelligent, and overall wonderful to work with. They tremendously exceeded my expectations and my wife and I were so happy with decided to have our wedding block with the Westin Hotel. The hotel itself is in a great location on harbor island. If you are having a Tampa group event, I would highly recommend reaching out to Jessica and Winnelle to discuss staying at the Westin.

Attended a conference at the Westin hotel in Tampa and the facilities were top class. Food could have been better but it was directed at satisfying 80% of the crowd.

We accidentally booked two rooms but they canceled the second on site with no problems. Fantastic customer service.

Was just here for a holiday party. Pretty nice venue. Right on the water, next to Jackson's and American Social. Also, a good area to tour if you're visiting from out of town.

Charged me $200 for smoking in the room because they found loose wrappers? We did not smoke in the room

I would’ve chosen zero for a rating if I could. I booked this hotel room (825) through anerican Express Platinum service for Dec. 23 2018. This room was unclean and smelled funny. We were too tired to go out to eat or complain since it was late when we checked in for our cruise next day.

No coffee machine in the room and water bottles were $8 each! E ate at the RestUrant in the hotel - were ripped off with bland food. Next day morning we ordered room service - American breakfast and were charged $33 for it. For $170 per night they didn’t even include breakfast! What a nightmare!

One of the best hotels in Tampa on Harbour Island. Westin provides a great guest experience and will go out of their way to get you anything you may want. Heavenly beds heavenly showers are the best. Most rooms have great views. Lots of meeting space. Restaurant, bar, and snack store. Decor is modern.

Disappointed with this location. The room was dated, no amenities we're included, and you could only park bia valet. The upside was the location and the comfortable bed.

The Staff was nice the hotel was nice, but the room wasn’t ready. There was stuff left behind in the fridge, old coffee filter left in the coffee machine, no coffee was there for us on day 1 we had to call for some, the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall and needed repaired. Not as nice as the Westin in Sarasota. I enjoyed the Marriott Waterside better.

Totally loved my stay here. So comfortable, and accommodating. I loved my room, the view, the staff, and the walking distance attractions. I’ll definitely be returning.

We enjoyed the valet service for our car. Checkin was super quick. The room was beautiful. Beds were a bit hard, but had all types of pillows to choose from. It was annoying that wi-fi was $9.95 per night instead of being included in our stay. We also went to the bar. There was a guy from Absolut doing a promo. So, we got free drinks! The food was delicious, although pricey. However, everything else in the area was either reserved for a function or a long wait. It was a pleasant place to eat.

Staff is unbelievably polite and helpful. The view over the bay is breathtaking and the bar is reasonably priced! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, clubs, and best of all, it's in Tampa Bay, FL! Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a great stay at the Westin Tampa. The rooms were super clean and modern, with a great view, and the staff was phenomenal; from the valet, to Rosie at the front desk. She gave us great advice for local restaraunts, and was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend staying here.

Nice Westin, though a touch dated. Staff was super and very accommodating. Location is great for things downtown (walk to the hockey arena) and water views. My room did not have a desk but rather a small table. Worked out for my one night, but something to ask about if you are staying longer.

What a great hotel with wonderful amenities and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This was a great place near everything for my night in town. The only negative is the cost of parking and that it has risen $2 but is still listed everywhere at the lower rate.

Need a place to stay for a concert, an event or even to visit family from out of state? This is the place to go. The Westin is a prestigious hotel, that's perfect for all people.

Stayed for a convention. Logan at the front desk was extremely helpful in accommodating early check in for my wife so she didn't have to sit in the lobby. We experienced excellent customer service from the whole staff. Valet gentleman remembered us even inside the lobby and made a point to say "welcome back". We have stayed in many places and this was the best customer service we have had in quite some time! We will return.
