Tijuana Flats

This is very good Mexican restaurant. We used to go to another Mexican restaurant but they raised prices out of site. So I checked out Tijuana Flats and the quality was as good and maybe better. The greatest thing about Tijuana is the number of sauces that are available. There are usually about 20 different sauces from easy heat to insane heat. I like some of the hotter sauces but my wife likes the sweeter ones. The menu is pretty substantial with tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, and many other Mexican specialties. The meat choices are varied also. Tijuana is my new choice for Mexican food in Tampa Bay.

Order a Black Bean taco (I am a vegetarian) and went home without checking. Of course…i get home to a meat tacos. Made the girl repeat my order twice on the phone when I ordered. It was even on the box before I opened it. Well done….

The food here is good and the many different hot sauce chooses are great. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The only downside is they don't have nacho steak fries which is one of my favorite meals back home in California. Hope one day they add it to the menu.

The best Tijuana flats around. Staff is always nice. I never have problems with my orders.restaurant is always clean.

Good churro balls. They're really sweet, so you should only drink water with them. The food seems really good, but I prefer plain food so there isn't anything for me to eat. I like that they carry lots of sodas in glass bottles. Unfortunately they don't have horchata.

Only reason they get 2 stars is because the the woman taking the order was very nice. Went to order the steak flauta, asked very polite if he could do the steak rare or close to it. He said NO. We are not allowed to serve it that like that.
I know people don't like rare meat but I do. Will not be coming back or recommending. Also the chicken bowl does not come in a bowl lt comes on a plate.

We go here every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday for the last 4 years. The tacos are always on point and that queso is hands down the best in town! Nom nom nom! We love em so much we even go 2x on our Tuesdays

We did curbside pickup and order was on time and very convenient. Never an issue with this location.

I don’t know if it’s due to curbside but during the pandemic we are ordering online and waiting outside for food. I just left there today having to go in twice because they forgot our 3rd drink and then chips and queso which was basically half our order. I don’t know if they are taking too many orders or not reading the receipts because this not an isolated incident. I would say the past 5 orders it’s either been someone else’s order or missed items. Unfortunately it’s one of the few taco places in our area but it looks like I’ll have to start driving to another restaurant.

Good stuff here. The queso is a bit addictive. And I'm a fan of the "Jason's Mom" sauce. Taco Tuesday is a great value. Although some nights it does get packed and finding parking lately has been tough.

Prefer the location on Tampa Road as opposed to the one in Countryside food had much more appeal and staff was eager to clear the table after we finished our meal

Incredibly great service from the staff who helped us with our first visit. The food was equally delicious.
Burritos, salads, quesadillas were all delicious. We enjoyed the complimentary hot sauce bar offereing about a dozen flavors at various heat levels.
I wish we had one of these nearby back in Jersey.

Let me just say I'm visiting from louisville, ky and the customer service at this location is impeccable. Even though they are busy they never make you feel rushed or anything.up to the management and crew for a great experience.

Excellent fair for Mexican food with good selections & great choices of spicy to hot sauces!

Good food but their service is terrible. Ordered online at 7pm, my husband arrived at the scheduled pick up time of 7: 30 and food was not ready until 8: 30. Seriously don’t understand how it can possibly take their employees 1.5 hours to make two entrees. 2nd time in a row this has happened, had the same issue at the location on 580. They must be run by the same terrible management.

I have been a regular customer for over a year here, every Tuesday for their wallet-friendly combo that fills me up every time. The servers are always kind and helpful when it comes to refills, ordering, etc. I have only been disappointed once and it was due to stale chips which were immediately replaced by fresh delicious chips.

Decent tacos and sauce is good for the non spicy/hot pallets. The hottest sauce there is a mild in my book. Overall really decent food.

Great food, however they will manage to get your order wrong 9 times out of 10. I never experience this issue at any other Tflats. Always, always double check your order before you leave.

The food is always delicious and killer service every time. I have been eating here for 8 years now and never had a bad meal. Fantastic place to bring a date or just eat with family and friends. Lively atmosphere with girls that will even open the door for you unless you sneak up when they are super busy. The hot sauce bar has a variety of the best tasting blends from sweet to burn you up.

Great food! Service is excellent as well, one of my favorite places for fast casual with delicious food!
