Veronica Motiram, MD, Boynton Beach FL

I have been seeing this doctor for years and had a positive experience until this morning. The office staff was unbelievably rude, raised their voices at me over a miscommunication on their behalf (I was speaking calmly, professionally and politely). I have refered numerous people to Dr. Motiram and I am now wishing I had not as the experience with the front office staff was so egregious. I immediately left the office (politely) and scheduled an appointment with another physician as I was shocked by the mistreatment this morning. I will be following up with the appropriate parties as well, in addition to this review, to inform them of the unacceptable behavior by the office staff.

I've been dealing with Dr Motiram for 2 years now and I have never felt better. I have been to other psychiatrists in the Palm Beach County area and they talked to me like I was 5 years old. Not Dr Motiram; She treats me with dignity and respect. She gives me what I NEED! NOT WHAT I WANT, BUT WHAT I NEED. BIG DIFFERENCE! I use to take xanex illegally but ever since I have been seeing Her I havn't needed them. I flushed the rest down the toilet. I'm glad to say I'm no longer a criminal and I no longer have to deal with shady people. Also Her staff is fantastic, And Her schedule is very acccomidating. I would recomend Dr Motiram to anyone.

Had two horrible experiences with Linda i dont think she is even qualified for her job but i kept calling until i finally was greated by someone else who thank go was very nice and professional. The doctor can be good but if the staff is bad it makes the experience bad qnd for people who are dealing with certain mental health problems that is not good

The office staff is rude and uncooperative with the patients. They sent me to collections for a bill that was incorrectly denied by insurance. Didn't try to contact me or let me know that the claim had even been denied.
2/7/18-I would like to update in response to the office's reply. There was ZERO attempt at communication regarding the outstanding bill that was sent to collections. Rather than contact myself to collect the money, or contact the insurance company who should be responsible for the bill under their contract, Marcela would rather ruin a psychiatric patients credit. Great patient advocacy! Not. I am not "confused" by any means.

I had to check this out for myself after i over heard the front desk lady that it was brought to her attention some bad reviews left for her so she is making FAKE positive reviews using either fake patients names or real patients names without their consent which is illegal im kind of in shock the low of some people i chose to remain anon because i am a real patient if my name is to be used for this non sense i will contact my lawyer patients privacy is number one especially without their consent. Just so she can look good she should have been not rude to begin with the can trigger some patients very sad of this new front desk lady she should be ashamed

Dr. Motiram is honestly the best she makes you feel at home and does not judge or make you feel akward. The front desk staff were great since the day I called for my new patient appointment they are always accomadating and sensitive to your situations. Patients that think otherwise must be the ones that don't get their way because everyone goes above and beyond in this office!

First time visit experience: I just moved to Boynton Beach from Long Island and I was looking for a psychiatry specialist. After reading the reviews, I decided to give Dr. Motiram a try. My first impression of the staff was that they were kind and helpful. From the first call to the office, the staff was so helpful. When I got to see Dr. Motiram, I was so impressed with her calming demeanor, understanding and empathy.

I'm not moving back to Long Island and will stay in Florida as long as Dr Motiram is practicing. She is the best I've found so far.

I have been going to Dr. Motiram for 15 years and she is honestly the best and the front desk staff are awesome!

I started seeing the Dr.this year and i agree with most people here, she is a wonderfull Doctor and i wouldnt trade her for nothing! I have to disagree with a few people too, yes the staff changed but never have they even been rude to me or the patients waiting to be seen, i mean not even when I call! These people are beyond sensitive and obviously are trying to ruin their image. I would recommend Dr. Motiram any day, any time.

I highly recommend Doctor Motiram. I have been looking for professionalism and proper treatment for my best friend. He's the best friend anyone could ever ask for but he has some issues. My best friend struggled with finding above average mental health services in west palm beach. A customer of mine at a local store I own in the area recommended Dr Motiram. She was friendly, explained everything directly. Before even calling to make an appointment, I did my research online and found Dr Motiram to be highly regarded. I understand that some people get frustrated at times but I found more positive reviews than negative reviews. After meeting doc motiram, if feel confident in her work and work with my best friend.

I've been a patient for so many years Dr Motiram. GREAT Dr she listens to what i have to say and helps me through my problems, the staff very nice and funny great sense of humor.

I was beyond impressed with my experience at this doctor’s office. My first contact was with Linda and I was completely blown away by how helpful and kind she was and how fast she was at getting back to me! A lot of doctors don’t realize how important it is to have customer service like Linda. The first point of contact is crucial!

Now on to the appointment… my appointment ran on time, Dr. Motiram was really knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment! I would highly recommend this Doctor.

I Have been Twice first time i was greeted by Isabel she was wonderful and made the experience great and second time i was greeted by Linda who was very rude on the phone and in person and to make matter worse she was taking selfies on the clock very unprofessional and aside from that i would have given this review 5 stars Dr Motiram is great always has been just wish they did something about these rude staff that are ruining experiences

I haven't seen dr. Modem for 12 years she is very understanding patient and takes your time to explain to you what's going on I would not see any other doctor or recommend anyone else but dr. Veronica motiram her staff is very accommodating and they're continuing to make Excellent customer service still exist

Second time calling and having to deal with rude front desk ive great things about dr motiram but the two times ive called ive had to deal with Linda very rude hopefully when i call again regarding appointment i dont have to deal with her

I have Been coming here for a few years now the Doctor is wonderful i have always had a great experience until my more recents visits some of the new staff are very rude like others have mentioned its truly sad because the whole experience sets the mood from walking in to leaving and having rude front desk takes away from that

Great Doc Bad Receptionist i called the office for some questions i heard great things about Dr Motiram and was greeted by a horrible receptionist very rude didnt want to answer my questions she just said they are to busy to be answering questions her name was linda she must be new but still no way to talk to possible patients

I am a new patient the staff and Dr Motiram are the best they made me feel like home great enviroment cant wait to come back.

Been a patient for about 15 years.she has disappointed me at a time of true need. She should be ashamed of her office manager as well. Veronica knows who I am. I doubt she will ever call me back. UPDATE: Rather than reaching out to me, I received a letter from this "caring" md telling me I would no longer benefit from her. I laughed so hard I almost up chucked! I had replaced this person with someone competent immediately after this disgusting incident. Now her office manager can tell other poor souls that this doctor has 999,999 patients, since she told me that the office had 1 million patients and I was nobody special to get a call back from the doctor. Be aware that this pill prescriber has no back up coverage when she is unavailable, which seems to me to be whenever you are not in the office for your 2 minute visit. GO ELSEWHERE!
