An Xfinity store is the equivalent of the proverbial roach motel. Easy to get into, but impossible to leave without being dead &/or destitute. They'll promise you, with the brightest & biggest smile on their faces, the world paved in gold & lined with candy canes.
This is necessary to sell you their load of bull grits.
Don't believe anything they say, unless they let slip they're about to shuck you over.
Go with AT&T or DISH Network, or stream or antenna your tv needs.

I just wanted to let you all know that your customer service sucks! I live in Jacksonville FL and I am new to the area. I had to leave my old cable company due to my apartment complex not allowing satellites. You all were recommended to me for service and ever since I signed up and paid you all, its been HORRIBLE! First of all you guys need after 5pm appointments for people who work especially since yall have limited appointments on the weekends. Secondly, you all sent a technician to my home to install services and I took a longer lunch from work to meet your tech. When I arrive I am told he has to come back because he doesn’t have the equipment to install my services cause of the package I am. Something to the effect of it my equipment being all wireless. He then tells me he will have to run back to his store which could take another 30min-40mins. So I tell him to go ahead back and ill wait (even though I was on lunch) he then comes back 5mins later and tells me they don’t even have the equipment in their warehouse & I would have to reschedule for I don’t when so they can get the equipment. This is VERY poor customer service, and when I called in to complain your reps are unprofessional, not helpful, Rude and don’t listen. Even when I asked to speak with a manager, the supervisor wasn’t helpful, he was rude and talked over me. Now im rescheduled for tomorrow, so I have miss work again to meet your technician that im sure will show up without the right equipment again. Then when I asked for my $50 back that I paid for my deposit your supervisor tells me “Comcast only refunds $20 for missed appointments” And that if I wanted a refund, it cancel everything and you all would mail a check! I should get my money back regardless, plus more for this inconvenience and it shouldn’t be no check! Now my issue has to be escalated and I have to wait for a call back (which I probably wont get). You guys need better customer service, and should ALWAYS have your technicians arrive prepared for the install. There should be no reason for this, if anything I deserved a phone call before I went and wasted my gas to meet the tech. GET IT TOGETHER!
