Is somebody kidding me? The 3 "ladies" manning this store are rude, unhelpful and should be fired. I can't believe the manager.if there is one.would keep any one of them. No wonder in a day when other cable/internet providers are thriving, Windstream/Kinetic is falling off the map. Screw 'em, went with Direct TV.

WARNING! Windstream is COMPLEYELY incompetent. Has been 8 weeks with no install in sight after the promised fiber optic in 2 weeks. TERRIBLE BUSINESS!

My experience within the first month alone with Windstream Kinetic cable internet has been a complete nightmare. I subscribed to the 300Mbps connection and the highest speed I've clocked in at is 180mbps. When trying to get anyone on the phone you will wait well over 10 minutes and get transferred to hold another 20+. Kinetic has no issues with providing unsatisfactory performance in connection speeds and customer service and still charge you in full. Before moving here we had Xfinity so I know what proper connection speeds and outstanding customer service looks like when dealing with an Internet Service Provider. Kinetic/Windstream is a complete 180 from what I am used to and the pricing is even higher than Xfinity. GO FIGURE. If my problems arent resolved or my bill lowered, I will be canceling my service. Shameful

Communication is really poor. I’ve been calling and leaving voicemails almost daily for two weeks and has yet to speak with anyone.

Our internet was working fine. We were outside watching tv in our outdoor space when a wind stream can pulls up and starts messing with the box next to the road. All of a sudden the internet disconnects and he leaves. Now it’s been three hours and still no internet. And of course we can’t get in touch with anyone to fix the problem. I don’t understand why you would mess with something that was working just fine? !? It is always something with this company. So unreliable.

It is amazing that we are able to have TV, Internet, and landline phone service in such a remote location. The service has been very good and the rates are reasonable

Scheduled a router installation 4 times and they canceled without call every time, told me I needed the wrong wire (which i spent $20 repairing myself), only to then inform me that i could not get internet in my dorm

Requested an upgrade in internet speed to 50mbs, which was available for my area, but never received it. After 6 phone calls and 3 tech visits, I just gave up and cancelled my service. They then tried to keep billing me and kept forgetting to send me a shipping label for the modem. (If you don't return it, they charge you $100)

Consistently terrible service, slow speeds, and constant interruptions. But you'll still have to choose them of course since they have the monopoly for servicing North Georgia. You would expect at least a nice dinner and some KY first, but get used to disappointment from the first contact and/or cookie cutter response from Latoya.

The people and customer service are absolutely inadequate. Worst place I can think of for customer service! I thought monopolies we're illegal, but this is the ONLY internet company available. And they know it, and they suck.

My hat goes off to Dana. I have been so frustrated with Corp Windstream customer service I was ready to quit Windstream. I went by Cornelia store and Dana’s professional attitude, caring and curtious service resolved all my questions & concerns and helped me get my internet service back up after 1 1/2 weeks.
If I could give 10 stars I would as Dana is truly the very best Windstream rep around

There is not a negative number. The service people are the worse ever. They remotely give you no service. The cable installers are clueless. After 90 tickets and 9 months of failed connection they still can't diagnose why I'm not connected to the cable they installed. Dumb rude and inept is my review.

For those in the Habersham area, see if you are now able to switch to the TrailWave fiber internet service. It’s 20-30 times faster than Windstream and more reliable. You can also cancel your Windstream land line and go with MagicJack or any other VOIP phone line. 3 months now on TrailWave and so far so good.

Worst Internet ever. I used to be upset when I used boingo and their speeds were about 10 mbps after promising 30, boy was I lucky and didn't know it. Here with Windstream, I consistently get 350-700 kbps, when they claim it's at LEAST 25 mbps. They clearly do not use any profit to improve their quality.

I just called and spoke with the nicest lady about obtaining service for wi fi in my home. Very thorough and informative. When I get a computer, I will be choosing Windstream.

This is the most egregiously bad ISP bar none. On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 0. They are the Ebola of Internet Service Providers. Windstream is bad, bad, BAD!

Trashy internet service providers, trashy customer service, and all around trashy practices. They had us over paying for "high speed internet" turns out they dont cover our area so we just ended up over paying.

Why can't I give zero stars? People stay away, you are warned! I suffer due to these people, crashes frequently & the worst customer service. Tier 1 is clueless and reads script from a book.
