Mokulēʻia Beach Park reviews
24Excellent beach for watching windsurfing and relaxing. Far away from everything, great beach for locals. Not a good swimming beach for small children but good for scuba in the summer. Waves can get pretty big in the winter so stay safe!
Not the park for a tourist visit but a nice access to the beach. Great place to pack a lunch and spend a few hours counting the planes of skydivers passing over. One shower spot but no other services.
Not a swimming beach really due to rock at waterline. Narrow strip of nice sand above that. Some trees to provide shade. Standard outside shower but only porta-potties. Has several picknick tables. Popular spot for windsurfing. Also saw a few people snorkelling.
Swam with a sea turtle for about 10 mins. Diverse sea life, perfect for snorkeling. Coral are sufferig here.please take care and look but dont touch
Beautiful beautiful beach! In some spots its pretty narrow but the clear water and emptiness is worth it!
Nice quiet local place hidden away from the public. Nothing but picnic tables, an outdoor shower, and a porta potty but the beach is great.
Beautiful beaches and water around here also during parts of the year you can't find good sea shells
Nice bech if you lay in the sand, but airplanes from the skydiving place at the airfield and other air traffic really bothered me as planes flew a couple hundred feet directly overhead. All the rocks in the surf prevents you from going more than 1 ft underwater, as the rocks are very slippery.
No amenities, no place to swim, car next to mine got broken into, and there were fishguts and flies all over the place.
Beautiful place for a walk to enjoy.
My eyes are sensitive and I wear glasses so the fog or whatever it was around was making it hard for me to see.
Other than that, dog friendly and not too busy the day that I went. I enjoyed how big the grass area was for picnics and the fountains worked.
Very quiet beach. It was nice to go to a beach with only 2 other people on it. We went later during sunset so during the day your mileage may vary. The beach is decent and the beach is steep with coral. We went to the beach because we are the TV series Lost fans. At this beach is where the first episode takes place where the plane has crashed.
A very private beach. Had a lot of coral and rocks, but was too choppy to leisurely snorkel. Perhaps another time of year would be better. Sun mainly comes from behind you as well.
If you're a fan of lost and just want to see this beach it is nice. It's more eroded than it was when filming was ongoing there. But the rocks with super strong waves and vegetation behind you makes for a nice sight. I wouldn't swim or go snorkeling, at least the day we went the sea was very very rough.
It’s good.took my dog here. HE LOVES IT. Just when you enter the water, rocks that are slippery. But other than that. I liked it:) I’ll come again!
Nice beach. I parked in their across from the dillingham airfield. Went with my two year old, not much space for laying on the sand, but a long ways of beach. I'd return.
This beach is what dreams are made of. Crystal blue waters, soothing waves, and a perfectly timed sky is what would be on the homepage if r/earthporn had a dedicated website
Great calm beach with few people. Some part of the beach are with stones so you cannot swim but then you can see some turtles there.
Good beach and a decent place to bring a dog since it has plenty of open space. Not a lot of parking but there is a shower and restrooms.
We made it up here to look for turtles. We were not as fortunate. But we found the beach calm and isolated. It was rather too windy for the little ones.
